Alya wraps her arms around her abdomen. "We need to go get an MRI. You have a concussion and I think that's normal but just in case, let's do that." She pulls out her phone while I lean my head back."There's no need, I'll rest."

"This is more serious than that. It's not a headache and your mental well-being. Please, don't fight me on this." I nod hesitantly as she places her phone on her ear when the doorbell rings.

"I'll get it." She mutters, walking to the door to open it before I could get a word in. I stand up to follow her, unsure because of the security reasons. Immediately she opens the door, rashan appears then pulls her in for a tight hug. I furrow my brows, waiting to see her response.

"I thought something happened to you. You didn't pick up my calls or answer my messages."

He pulls away, cupping her cheeks. "I don't care what that guy says but I'm not letting you stay here a minute longer." I raise my brows in amusement."Rashan, right?" I ask, walking towards them as they turn to look at me. "Could you release my wife? She seems awfully uncomfortable." I try to be civil, feeling my legs getting heavier with each second. "Why are you still here?" Rashan demands.

"In my house? It's a question that is to be answered by you." I start getting aggravated by his entitlement and disrespect. "She's leaving."

"Says who?" I narrow my eyes. "What makes you think you have a say in our marriage? I don't care whether you're a friend, don't dictate to me what I can and cannot do." I cross my arms. "I have no business with you but I do with Alya. I won't leave her in your hands to die. You've attempted that and fortunately for us and unfortunately for you, she survived."

I take a few steps forward, getting tired of putting him in his place verbally when I feel a sharp pain in my head. My once heavy head seems like it's going to explode any minute. I close my eyes, hanging my head yo try to mask it but it gets more painful. I stagger a few steps back. "Are you okay?" Alya asks, placing her hand on my back. "I'm fine." I glance at her looking at me with worry. "We should go now."

I nod in agreement to get this pain over and done with. "See yourself out of my house."

"We'll talk later, rayyan." We start walking toward the sitting room.

"Why do you care so much about him?" I stop to look at him. "All he does is create more problems as if he hasn't created enough. You don't believe me? Let's start with his brother."

"Don't cross the line." I warn him which makes him chuckle. "Why? You were being a tough guy just now. You killed him yet you come acting like a saint. You forced this woman to marry you and you want to kill her too?"

"Shut up."

" Falah?"

"What is the pattern, I wonder. I know. They both care about you. You managed to kill that one and you're living your best life. Now you feel suicidal again, you want to kill her. Who's next?" I take my arm off Alya's shoulder before lunging at him. I punch him which makes him fall on the floor. "Falah! Stop!" I follow him to the ground, punching him again and again. He strikes back with a punch then punches me away. I get back on my feet, clutching his collar and pushing him to the wall. "Who do you think you are to come to my house and judge me about my past?! You don't know me nor my brother!"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Rashan asks, panting. "Get away from him, Falah." Alya pulls on my shirt as I step away from rashan. She rushes to him, using a tissue to tend to his nose bleed. "Get out of my house."

Rashan mutters something to Alya and she shakes her head. "I'm talking to you!" He hesitantly leaves, Alya stands in the same place. She shuts the door before turning to look at me.

"You can follow him and continue to tend to his wounds." She shakes her head. "I'm done with you, officially." She scoffs, walking past me. "Over him?"

"Yes, over him. I'm packing my things and leaving." I hold her arm but she tugs it away from me. "He said those things to me and you expected me to stand there and do nothing? I'm not a push over."

"What did he say to you?" I scoff. "You're playing dumb to defend him?" She furrows her brows. "I can't play dumb when I don't know what he said." She says sincerely.

"He said things about my brother and you. You didn't hear that?" Her brows relaxed. "He didn't say anything."

"What do you mean he didn't say anything? I heard him loud and clear."

"He didn't say anything. We were about to go when you lunged at him for no reason." I shake my head, sitting down to recollect myself. "I heard him." I place my elbows on my knees. "It was in your head, Falah."

"It's that bad?" I sit up, looking up at alya. "We need to go before it progresses." She holds my chin before using the tissue as a tourniquet to clean the corner of my mouth. "Yeah, let's go." She finishes, letting out a sigh.

"I'll get my bag and veil." She walks up the stairs. What is going on with me?
