"Blimey Malfoy! Slow down would ya, you almost took me out!"

The turn Draco made was almost cinematic. How dare that traitorous red head speak so him, how dare he even breathe.

"Oh you don't want to start anything, you needy little-"

"Oi Draco, give it a rest. No one wants to fight anymore. We've done our fighting, just let us live in peace." Ron rolled his eyes. He had what looked like an army surrounding him, about twenty or so first year Gryffindors, Dean holding hands with Seamus, Hermione on his arm, Hugo, Luna, Lover, and... Millicent? What was Millicent doing with this circus?

"You've got a lot of nerve, and I don't want my praised name of your filthy tongue!" He huffed clenching his fists tightly. His icy glare now shot at Millicent's calculated face, "Bulstrode, what do you think you're doing with these wicked people?" The girl just shrugged, observing the show.

"Don't talk about us like that! You fight one of us, you fight all of us, you evil... evil!" Hugo stepped up, he would of been intimidating with his height if he wasn't such a buffoon.

"You can't talk! You're just a fool who's been held back two years! And here you are calling me evil when you're treating Slytherins just as poorly as I treated you!" Draco retorted reaching for his wand.

"Calm down everyone." Ron pleaded to his little army. He then turned to the blond Slytherin, "Look Malfoy, I know you're arrogant and stuff but can we please stop this? Any true fighter of the war knows you fought largely for the light, you killed for us-"

Not for you.

"Could we maybe call a truce, be civil." It was as though a thunderstorm crept its way into Draco's eyes, he now knew Ron was an enemy. That wasn't his place to go round calling truces after what he'd done to Harry. And that word, Ron was basically provoking him.

A low vicious growl came from deep within. Just as he was about to hex all around, wonder boy himself appeared behind him, he put his hand on Draco's, silently lowering his wand. Tingles of electricity coursed throughout his arm, piercing hums vibrated, what felt like, the whole world. He sensed the feeling of invincibility taunt him.

"Leave him alone Ron, he already feels unwelcome and out of place, like the rest of us, and I'm sure he doesn't need your pity, nor does he want it." Harry was standing up for him, it was incredible.

"You better get out of my face right now! I can't believe you can even show your face after what you did to Ginny. And anyway I didn't even want to be friends with a death eater but Hermione insisted because you- it doesn't matter why!" Ron's fury forced itself in his demeanour while he  persistently argued.

"Come on, Malfoy, we're leaving. No sane person wants to be around this bunch of ungrateful morons!" Harry grabbed Draco's shoulders, turning round ready to leave in feigned pride.

"Can we all just chill with the negative vibes please?" Lover asked getting irritated and confused looks thrown her way from everyone, except Luna but she wasn't really listening.

"Harry! I have a question for you. Why did you do it? To my sister aswell! How could you do that to her?" He whimpered slightly, eyes getting teary.

"How many times? I didn't do anything wrong to her! I would never use anyone like that! And I did- do love her, I really do, but something just felt off. I just had a minor blip of fear! Not being with her anymore I feel- was my biggest mistake, I regret it everyday." Harry looked at the stone floor in shame.

He'd lost the only normalcy in his life after what Ginny had said. Ron, Hermione, most of his friends, his respect, his safe place, all gone. He felt trapped with Ginny, he felt smothered, lonely and just plain wrong, but if it meant getting his safe place back he'd go back in a heartbeat.
