Hope pov
"Hey Hope" I saw Maya sitting in front of me.
"Oh hey what's up?" I said as I ate my lunch.
She smiled at me "so I just want to ask a little question" I nodded.
"What were you and Josie doing yesterday?" She asks and I look at her confused.
"Umm what?"
"Look I know we don't know each other but all I want to say is Josie is no good"
"How is she no good" I ask,Josie was friendly to me but then again I could be wrong really wrong.
"Because she is a player and if she wants you then she just wants to have sex with you" I sigh and look away from her then see Josie then Josie saw me she gave a wave.
"I know you don't want to listen but at least keep it in mind" I looked at Maya and nodded.
"Good anyways, do you want to go meet my friends?" I kept looking at her.
Maybe I should do it. I need friends anyway.
"If you want to but if you don't then that's fine" she said quickly and I shook my head.
"No no it's fine" Maya stood up and offered me her hand.
I stood up too and took it, we made it to her table and there were 3 guys and 1 girl.
"Guys this is Hope, Hope this is Landon, Rafael, but Raf for short Kaleb and Cleo" she pointed at all of them.
"Hi," I said quietly. They all smiled at me and me and Maya sat down.
"So Hope you are new here?" Cleo asks.
"Kind of"
"Are you a freshman?" Landon asked, I heard his heartbeat faster as he looked at me.
"No senior" he nodded slowly.
"Are you sin-" Landon started but then Raf quickly covered his mouth.
"I'm sorry for him but you look nice today"
I chuckled "thank you Raf" I smiled at him, Landon pushed him off glaring at him.
"Anyways don't mind those Idiots" Kaleb said as he put his arm around Cleo.
"Are you two dating?" I asked and they both nodded.
Ring
"It was nice meeting you guys" I said as we all stood up.
I felt eyes on me so I turn around to see Josie looking at me she gave me a little wave and I wave back, we were just looking at each other until her friends take her away.
"Damn Josie really wants you" I turn to Maya and blush not saying anything.
"Come on let's go to class" I nodded and we started walking.
"I know Josie is really beautiful and looks amazing but trust me she will use you she will never change" Maya said.
"You been with Josie?"
"Yes but she doesn't like relationships" she rolled her eyes
"Oh"
"Yeah" we just stayed in silence after that a very awkward silence.
