You might be thinking why, we children , call our orphanage home a 'mad house '. There is always chaos happening. New problems to solve. New children joining every day.

The mad house is only a girls orphanage. The children there all have their own personality, there is : Georgia ( she's quirky and ditsy sometimes), Lola ( who is shy and quiet) , Me ( who is not so confident and anti-social), Rebecca ( she is loud and annoying ) and finally Bonnie ( she has a great imagination).

The beds are not comfortable but they are beds. It does not have a fluffy soft duvet but does have a sheet to cover you during the cold night. Most of the walls have cracks in it, and are falling apart. Most of us girls share the whole room ( the room is wide) and the windows don't shut fully , so cold air peeps through during the night.

In the mad house there is a mixture of different types of people . That's what makes us mad but unique. It's not quite the home you would imagine with : parents , happy children and toys , but it is a home to me.
