Micheal's pov

Cody has a mission. Let me guess he has to go back to Britain. "Are you going back to Britain?" I asked. I don't want him to go back to Britain. Cody stares back at me.

"No, this time I have to stay in America. The secret weapon is out. The government wants me to find out," he said. I let out a slight sigh of relief. Thankfully, Cody didn't hear my sigh. "Looks like I got to tell my mom,"

As he was about to leave the room, Henry, Dakota, and Christian are there already. "Cody, you have to leave?" Henry asks.

Cody sadly nods his head. "I will be back sooner,"

That's all he says. He looks away from all of us. We look at each other with unsure. I don't know if Cody will be back by now. Cody picks up the phone. I assume he is calling Ben and Amelia. Henry glances over Cody's shoulder. He gives us a 'he is calling his best friend and his girlfriend' look.

I'm starting to feel like Cody's friends from Britain are replacing me. I walk out in frustration.  I don't want to be replaced. I know I can't hold Cody back forever. The more we have people we love, the more they slip away from us.

"Micheal, wait," a shrilled voice calls behind me. I turn around to see Cody.

"Where are you going?"

"H-home," I said.

My hands touch the doorknob.

"Ok, cya,"

I nod my head and open the door. I close the door behind me. I left his house. My jealousy takes over. I mean everything changed in the past year.

Cody got knighted. He is now known as Sir Cody Grover. He made friends. I'm happy about that. Sometimes, I can't help but feel sad.

Me and Cody met in pre-school. He was coloring. I was sitting and staring at the window. I didn't expect him to approach me. In fact, I was a lonely person. Cody had with him was coloring book and colors.

He asked me if I wanted to color with him. That's when we became close friends. We would go to each other houses. I was there at his dad's funeral. But my home life was terrible. My dad would drink a lot. He would hit me a lot. My parents were on the verge of getting each other killed.

But my dad stayed for my sake. I honestly didn't want him in my life. I want him gone. Sometimes, I would stay at Cody's house for days and even weeks. I was even considered as a family to them.

Henry's pov

Something is up with Micheal. He wouldn't storm off like that. I won't go after him. But Cody does go after him. I turn to look at Christian and Dakota. None of us say a word to each other. It's a quiet atmosphere.

Until silence was broken by Tyler and Owen coming into the room. "What happened?" Owen asks, looking at all of us. We share glances at each other. Tyler still looks confused.

"Cody happened," I mumble.

"What happened to Cody?" Tyler asked. "Guys, what on earth is going on?!"

"Cody has to go on his next mission," Christian replies. "This time, our country is in danger. Some secret weapon is out in the world,"

"Do you think Mom will let him go?" Owen says.

"I doubt that she will ever let him go. Since what happened in the past year," Tyler said. He is referring to Dad's death and how his death changed Mom completely.

"but still, guys, we need an idea to sneak Cody out without Mom knowing," Christian said.

"How do we do that without getting caught? If Mom does see us, she will ground us for life," I mention.
