Cody and the others sat quietly in front of Joseph Graves' desk. They observed Joseph organize the papers as he did so.

Joseph seemed to be the kind of man who had it all. Money, celebrity, and power are all appealing. He is, after all, the director of the FBI. Cody was well-known. Joseph calling him by his first and last name didn't surprise him. Even his title as a knight.

Would fame matter to Cody?

No, it is not.

Fame was never anything he was interested in. He was just concerned about keeping his loved ones and friends safe.

Behind Joseph's desk is the portrait of President Sean Barrington. It seems like he looks up to Sean. Cody's knowledge of Joseph was limited to this. No, by asking. But by watching the man.

Cody's legs were twitching uncontrollably from anxiousness.

What did Joseph perceive in Cody?

Cody reminded Joseph of David in many ways. Joseph was well-known for his shrewdness and charm. He'd been in service for 23 years. When he was 18, he became an agent. Just as Cody had been. In contrast to Cody, he worked hard to acquire the position.

"So, let's get down to the business, shall we?" Joseph suggested.

The environment was serene. The group gives a swift, forceful nod.

"As we all know, the secret weapon is no longer hidden. We need you to help us to find it. Have you any leads?" Joseph inquired. His brow wrinkled with impatience. His hands are clasped together on the desk.

Cody felt compelled to say something about The Blackthorn Society and the death of Anthony Millier. Nonetheless, he debated holding off for the time being.

What if the lead sent them in the wrong direction? Otherwise, they would have had to start over from scratch.

However, this piece of knowledge is far too vital to be kept hidden. Furthermore, the murder is unsolved, and no one knows what caused Anthony's death. On the other hand, Cody believes it must be tied to The Blackthorn Society.

The Blackthorn Society has targeted politicians for years, as Henry mentioned. They are known to utilize mysterious techniques of killing. The Blackthorn Society has recently expressed frustration over tax increases supporting the military effort. the conflict in Iran. Perhaps it compelled them to act. Act of retaliation.

Cody has confidence in Henry's hacking prowess. But the fact that his younger brother could hack into a computer still astounded him. But he didn't realize Henry was a nerd. Up until now.

Joseph fixed his gaze on Cody as if Cody knew everything. When Cody noticed this, he shook his head and lied. He was interested in learning more about The Blackthorn Society.

"Very well. It appears that none of you have any lead," he stated. "But we don't have time,"

Cody's hands tensed. He'd start to become tense. Micheal casts a perplexing look at Cody. Amelia leans her head against her palm.

Toby reclines in his chair. Thoughtful concern can be seen in Ben's expression.

America is counting on Cody to save them. Without mentioning Ben, Toby, Michael, Amelia, and the rest.

"I'll give you two days to find a lead," Joseph said.

"We'll need more days to find the person and the secret weapon," Cody realizes. However, he spoke in a somewhat stern tone. Nevertheless, he didn't give a damn if he was talking to the important person or not.

"We cannot just find a lead in a day!" Cody slams the table with his hands. "Give us more time,"

Cody now resembles his father quite a bit. He looks pleadingly at Joseph.

Toby seems to agree with Cody in this outburst.

"I understand. I'll give you a few days to figure it out." "You are dismissed," he stated, as Cody and the rest of them exited the office.

But Cody, Ben, Micheal, and Toby engaged in talk. Only Amelia remained quiet.

Amelia didn't seem to mind. She had a lot of stuff to handle.

The group eventually got back into the car and headed back to the hotel.
