WHAT LIES AHEAD

The group is getting ready to move. Daryl and Demon are getting gas from abandoned cars. Daryl hops on Merle's motorbike as Demon gets on her own. " You two saddle up" Dale calls out to them making Demon sigh as she feels her father's gaze on her." What do you want, Daryl" She spits out coldly making him flinch looking way think of ways to get her to forgave him for leaving his wife to die on her own. But little does her know that won't be for a while. " We're right behind you old man." She tells Dale as he sees the small action but chuckles to try and lighten the mood " I hate you so much." Dale and Shane get into the RV and the group drives away.

LATER

The group comes to a stop on a highway as Demon circles back to Rick's car whilst Daryl goes to the RV. " See a way though?" Rick asks her. She nods her head turning her bike around, Rick follows in the car. The see a car with a dead body inside. The RV suddenly starts to smoke, the engine sputtering. Dale comes to a stop and everyone gets out of their cars. " Problem, Dale?" Shane asks " Just a small matter of being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no hope of.." He says as he looks at Daryl and Demon searching though two of the cars. " Let's see what we can find" Demon says. After looking around the 'graveyard' of cars. Demon walks up to Rick and Dale who look at her with fear in their eyes " What?" She asks " Walkers." Rick whispers out They turn around down behind a car as Demon moves quietly around cars. " Lori, Carol get under the cars now" She whispers coming up behind them making them go under a car together as Demon moves over to the kids " Carl! Sophia! under the cars now" She tells them as she moves to towards her dad and T-Dog seeing her dad pull him down and puts a walker on top of him then grabs another one giving it to Demon then grabs one from a car and puts it on him self. Demon sees a walker going after Sophia so she get's up from the ground and sprints after her.

WOODS

Demon runs after Sophia and the two walkers, she stops looking behind her then looks forward and keeps running. Sophia trips quickly standing up seeing Demon in front of her putting her hand over her mouth, " Shh, Shh. Are you all right? Are you okay?" She asks the little girl " Shoot them" " Come on" Demon says. She pushes her ahead of her and they start running. They reach a small creek. " All right, stay here." Demon says. She jumps down into the water turning to Sophia " Come on" Demon says She jumps into her arms, she turns around walking though the water to small hole putting Sophia down." You do what I tell you. Hide in there, squeeze in tight and I'll draw them away." Demon tells her sternly "No. No. No. Don't leave me." Sophia pleads making Demon's heart clench. She doesn't show it but she secretly loves kids. " Honey, I need to draw them away. I won't be able to protect you if I don't. I need you to be brave, okay. Go. Go." Demon says as Sophia moves into the hole " Do not move until come back ok?" Demon sternly says " I don't come back, run to the road. Keep the sun on your left shoulder." She adds on. She turns seeing two walkers snarling closer." Come on, you sons of bitches. Come and get me." She splashes water forward and runs away. The walkers follow after her. Demon comes to a stop, lifting up her combat bow firing an arrow into walker 1's head killing it. Rick appears killing the second one" You good?" He asks " Yeah" Demon says emotionlessly " Where's Sophia?" Rick asks

LATER

Demon, Shane, Daryl, Glenn and Rick are at the hole where Demon left Sophia but she's gone. "This is the spot?" Daryl questions his daughter " It's where I left her. I draw the walkers away in that direction up the creek." Demon tells them." She was gone by the time we got here" Rick says. " I figured she did what I told her to and ran back to the group. I told her to go that way and keep the sun on her left shoulder" Demon tells them. " Okay I'm guessing she went back to the others already"

ROAD

" where's my gun? You have no right to take it" Andrea says " I didn't take it. Demon did. She has it" Dale tells her. " She had no right. My dad gave it to me. It's mine" Andrea fires back. Lori walks up to them. " Everything okay?" She asks " Demon has my gun" Andrea tells her " I don't think that's a good idea right now" Dale tells them. Before anyone can speak Glenn speaks up. " Guys, they're back" He tells them " You didn't find her?" Carol questions " Her trail went cold. " We'll pick up again at first light but Demon is still out there. Said she wasn't gonna leave a little girl out in the woods all alone." Rick tells her and Carol looked relived that Demon decided to keep looking for her daughter even though she was worried that she didn't come back to look again in the morning like the rest. " Yeah, my daughter maybe emotionless but she still cares for kids." Daryl tells her.

NEXT DAY TIME SKIP TO THE GROUP LEAVING THE CHURCH WITH DEMON THERE WITH THEM

Shane, Rick, Demon are leading Carl through the woods. Shane is looking around holding his rifle. They hear branches snapping, Rick holds up his hand. Him, Shane and Demon hold up their guns at the ready. A deer walks around the woods not seeing them, it walks into the clearing making Shane raise his rifle to shoot but Carl walks forward making Demon put her hand on Carl shoulder following him to the deer. She steps back as Carl stares at the deer with a smile on his face, when a gunshot rings out in the air and they see Carl fall on his back. " Oh no no no no" Rick and Shane rush over while Demon puts her hands on Carl wound to try and stop the bleeding.
