Demon, Rick and Jimmy are standing around the hood of the truck, looking down at the map" The creek flows south, past the farmhouse my dad found" Demon says pointing to the map. " Maybe Sophia dropped the doll there, the current brought it downstream." Rick says " You think she took this road here and then went north?" Demon questions " Yeah" Rick agrees " Jimmy, what's up that way?" Demon asks " A housing development. It went in, maybe 10 years ago" He tells them "I'll get someone to got on a run up there" Rick tells her making Demon nod. Beth and Patricia walks up to them. " We'd like to join you for gun training today" Beth tells them making Rick and Demon look at each other unsure " Hershel's been very clear. I can't involve you in what we do without his okay." Rick tells them " Otis was the only one who knew guns, now he's gone." Patricia tells them " I'll ask Hershel myself, no offense" Rick tells them making them nod in understanding " I'll take Beth and teach her self defence encase Hershel says no just so she still knows how to protect herself." Demon tells Rick making him nod which also makes Beth smile.

LATER

Demon and Beth are in an open area away from the ones who are learning to shoot. " You ready?" Demon asks her " Yeah" Beth says " Step 1. TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS, back in the old world,too many people enrol in a self defence class after suffering from an attack that they couldn't fight back. Attackers search for people who appear frightened, confused or distracted. They look for people who walk with their heads down and their hands stuffed in their pockets, or perhaps ones who's overburdened with packages or distracted by children." Demon tells her " Before you continue, could I ask you something?" Beth asks " Um sure" Demon says " Who taught you this stuff?" Beth question " My om, she was in he army and wanted me to know how to defend myself so she taught me up until she died." Demon says making Beth feel guilty on asking " Uh I'm s-sorry I didn't mean to asks" Beth tells her making demon shake her head "No it's fine" Demon says " Uh if you don't mind me asking, how did you lose her?" Beth asks making Demon shake her head again " It's fine you can asks me anything, I lost her at the start of this. My dad left her to die, It's why I seem cold to people because of it he lost my trust and nobody gets that back" Demon says " Who do you trust?" Beth questions " I trusted my mom before she died my dad before what he did and I trust you for some reason. I don't know why you just make me feel like I can trust you" Demon says " What do I make you feel when you trust me?" Beth asks quietly moving forward to Demon making her gasp at how close they where " Safe, warm, I just feel like if I where to put my life In your hands that I would trust you not to leave me or get me killed" Demon whispers out " You make me feel the same." Beth says before Demon pulls away a bit with a blush on her face along with Beth having one as well " What about you. Did you lose anyone to this thing?" Demon asks trying to forget what just happened " Yeah I lost my mom and brother at the start." Beth tells her making Demon nod. " I'm sorry" She says but before they can continue Rick calls them over to practice shooting.

LATER

Demon and Glenn pull back into the farm after going to look for Sophia, getting out of the car. Lori walks towards them. " Hey Lori. How are you doing?" Demon asks " I'm fine, thank you. Did Glenn tell you?" " Yeah. He can't keep his mouth shut around me." She tells her making her chuckle a bit. " Could you two do a run into town for something for me?" Lori asks them " Yeah name it" Glenn tells her.

LATER

Demon is packing her bag placing it on the back of a horse. Beth walks up to her " Ready to go?" Beth asks " What? Where's.." Demon starts but Beth cuts her off " I told him I'm going on the run with you. Id that a problem?" Beth says then asks " No problem, Princess but your dad would kill me if I let anything happen to you" Demon tells her " What he doesn't know won't hurt him" Beth tells her making Demon smile with a light chuckle shaking her head. " Fine, Princess"

TOWN

Demon and Beth are riding the horse into town. " You didn't have to come with" Demon says " Glenn's a dumbass. He betrayed Maggie's trust and Dad's pissed at her." Beth tells her. They talk while they riding and Demon says something making Beth pissed off.They get off the horse walking into the drug store " What does she want?" Beth asks " Can't say" Demon tells her as she pulls out a piece of paper. Beth scoffs turning to face her. " So when one of them asks you to keep your mouth -shut----"Beth starts " Oh, princess, I don't ever shut up. Not for anything. Now get off my ass and help me look." Demon snaps. Beth takes the paper reading it, she looks at him turning around and walking away. Demon moves her eyes checking out her ass. " You know your ass is out of this world" Demon mumbles as Beth walks behind the counter, walking behind the shelves. Demon is walking around some more shelves grabbing different. Beth grabs a pill bottle when a walker's hand grabs her from the other side. " No! No! No! No! Demon!" She screams out in fear " BETH!" She stands up shooting her combat crossbow hitting the walker in the head killing it. She places her hands on Beth's face. " Did it bite you?" Demon asks making Beth shake her head wrapping her arms around her sobbing into her chest. Demon tenses at first before sighing in relief holding her tight.

FARM

Beth walks closer to Lori in anger " Hey we got your shit" She states as Demon walks up behind her " Beth don't!" Demon shout out at her " Come on" Lori says nodding towards her tent " Why? Nothing to hide" Beth asks seething in anger " We got you fucking bullshit right here" Beth says angrily as she reaches into her bag and grabbing the stuff " We got your lotion, got your conditioner, your soap Opera Digest." She throws them to the ground " Beth..." "Next time you want something, do it your fucking self. We're not your errand bitches." Beth spits. " Honey I---" Beth shoves the abortion pills into Lori's chest " And here's your damn pills to kill your baby." She seethes as she storms past Demon who looks at Lori " I'm sorry." Demon mumbles as She turns around and walks after Beth. After looking for a bit Demon finds Beth at Otis's grave. " What the fuck was that?!" Demon yells out to her " Which fucking part? The part where that bitch nearly got us killed?" Beth shouts back " I should have gone by myself so if you want to blame someone blame me." Demon tells her " Take the damn blame. You know, for a smart girl , you're fucking stupid" Beth tells her " I never said I was smart" Demon says back making Beth walk closer to her placing her hands -on her face kissing her on the lips, Demon is stood -there shocked but soon kisses her back pushing her against a tree as Beth wraps her arms around her neck. They pull away looking at each other. " I've lost enough people I care about. You're smart. You're brave. You're a LEADER. I just can' take it. You becoming one of those things and I know you don't trust people but I care about you." Beth says as she turns and walks away, leaving behind a confused Demon.

TENT

Demon walks into the tent where Lori is sitting on a small desk looking at the pills brushing her hair. " The blood on Beth's shirt---" Lori trails off "She got attacked" Demon tells her " Are you both okay?,How bad?" Lori questions " It was close but we're okay" Demon says as she walks out.
