CHEROKEE ROSE

T-Dog, Maggie, Beth, Jimmy, Shane, Demon and Glenn are gathering rocks stopping when they hear a motorcycle approaching. Daryl is pulling his bike up with Demon's being pulled on the RV.

BEDROOM

Carl is sleeping on the bed, Hershel places his hand on her forehead. " Fever's gone down" He tells them as Carl slowly starts waking up. "Baby?" Lori questions as Rick stands moving closer to the bed " Carl?" He says. Carl opens her eyes looking around the room. " Sophia? Is she okay?" He asks quietly " Rick sits down looking at Lori as Demon walks into the room " They're here. Little warrior you're awake." She tells them then says in surprise but relief

OUTSIDE

" How is he?" Dale asks " He'll pull though. Thanks to Hershel and his people." Lori tells them " And Shane. We'd have lost Carl if not for him" Rick adds as Rick and Dale wrap their arms around each other embracing, Demon leans against her bike glaring at Shane. " What happened?" Dale asks " Hunting accident. That's all... Just a stupid accident." Rick tells him sighing.

LATER

Daryl, Glenn, Demon, Dale, Shane, Rick, Carol, Lori, Andrea, T-Dog, Jimmy, Beth, Patricia, Maggie and Hershel are all around Otis's grave.. " Blessed be God, father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to him for the gift of our brother Otis for his span of years. For his abundance of character. Otis who gave his life to save a child's, now more then ever, our most precious asset. We thank you, God, for the peace he enjoys in your embrace. He died as he lived, In Grace. Shane will you speak for Otis?" Hershel says then asks making Demon let out a scoff turning around walking away, Beth watches her as she walks away from the grave.

FARM

Rick, Demon, Andrea, Shane and Daryl are standing around the hood of a car. " How long she been missing?" Hershel asks Rick " This'll be day three." He tells him. Maggie places a map on the hood putting three rocks on it keeping it there. " County survey map. Shows terrain and elevations." Maggie says " We can finally get this thing organized." Andrea huffs out " We'll grid off the whole area, start searching in teams" Demons says gruffly " Not Rick. He gave three units of blood. He shouldn't be hiking five minutes in this heat. Your ankle--- push it now, you'll be laid up a month, no good to anyone" Hershel tells both men. " Guess it's just me. I'm gonna head back to the creek, work my way from there" Daryl tells the small group " I'll head up to -the highway, see if she wandered back." Shane says. " All right, tomorrow then. We start doing this right." Rick tells them " We can't have people out there with just knives, they need proper training and I can help with it" Demon says making Hershel disagree " I don't prefer guns on my land. We've managed so far without turning this into an armed group." Hershel says making Demon nod in understanding " All due respect, you get a crowd of those things wandering----" Shane starts " We're guests here. This is your land and we respect that" Rick cuts him off then tells Hershel as he and Demon pull out their guns placing them on the hood on the car, Andrea sighs nodding pulling out her gun doing the same. Shane is pissed but he places his gun on the hood. " First things first, set camp, find Sophia" Rick tells them " I hate to be the one who has to asks but someone has to. What happens if we find her and she's bit? I think we should all be clear on how we handle that." Shane asks. " We do what has to be done" Demon tells him angrily " And her mother? What do you tells her?" Maggie asks " The truth" Demon says making Maggie nod

HOUSE-KITCHEN ( I know this scene isn't in the show but I wanted to add a small Beth and Maggie scene)

Beth kitchen trying to turn on the water. Maggie walk inside. " Water ain't tuning on?" She questions making Beth jump " What's up with you?" Maggie asks " Nothing. and no it's making trouble" Beth tells her. " I can fix it, Shaun showed me how before he died. Where's the toolbox?" Maggie asks " I'll get it" She tells her. She walks away, Maggie tilts her head walking closer to -t-he sink.
