SICK

Rick stands up as Daryl moves to his daughters side both keeping their crossbow and bow on the prisoners " Who the hell are you?" Daryl asks " Who the hell are you?" Tomas asks " He's bleeding out bad. We need to get him back. Maggie, put pressure on the wound above the knee." Rick tells her making her do so. Demon and Daryl make their way closer to the prisoners " Why don't you come out of there? Nice and slow" Demon says dangerously making the prisoners slowly make their way out of the kitchen. " What happened to him?" Tomas asks " He got bit" Daryl says " Bit?" Tomas asks as he pulls out a small revolver making Demon glare at him " Don't even thinking about it " She tells him " Easy now, no one needs to get hurt" Axel says Walkers are banging and snarling on the other side of the door trying to get in. After getting Hershel on the table they move out the cafeteria after the walkers are killed " Demon? Daryl?" Ricks shouts out. Demon and Daryl keep their weapons trained on the prisoners as they slowly back out of the cafeteria.

CELL BLOCK

Demon unlocks the door and they push the table into the cell block. " Easy. Easy" Rick says. Beth sees her dad on the table and runs up " What happened?" Beth asks " He's losing too much blood " Carl, open the door!" Demon shouts making him run to the door unlocking it. Demon and Daryl keep their eyes trained on the open door to the corridor, weapons raised waiting for the prisoners. " Beth, baby, grab your bow and help us" Demon says making Beth nod running to grab her bow before returning to Demon and Daryl raising her bow up when she sees the prisoners" Not a step closer" Demon says "That's far enough" Daryl says right after " Cell block C. Cell 4, that's mine, gringos. Let me in" Tomas says " Today's your lucky day, fellas. You've all been pardoned by the great state of Georgia. You're free to go. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out" Demon say " What you got going on in there, sweetcakes?" Tomas asks looking at Beth with lust in his eyes making Demon growl before firing her arrow into Tomas's dick " None of your fucking business asshole. And never call her that" Demon snarls out in rage " Chill, man. Dude's leg is fucked up. Beside we free now. Why we still here?" Big Tiny said " Man's got a point" Demon says "a group of civilians breaking IN to a prison you got no business being in-----got me thinking there ain't no place for us to go." Tomas asks " Geez and here I thought you were a dumbass?" Beth says making Demon smirk at her as does Daryl " That's my girl." Demon says making Tomas glare at Demon and Beth in anger. Demon and Beth tilt their heads showing pure murderous rage in their eyes " Maybe we'll just be going now" Axel says making Demon look at him " Except you, you could stay. I happen to like you" Demon says making Axel smile " Thank you kindly" Axel says " We ain't leaving" Tomas says. T-Dog walks into the room holding a gun at him, Tomas moves his gun aiming it at him " You ain't coming in here either." T-Dog says " This is my house, my rules. I go where I damn well please" Tomas tells them " Not anymore, this my house now.... bitch" Demon says smirking. Rick walks into the room " Hey! Hey! Why don't everyone relax? There's no need for this" Rick says. Beth lowers her Bow as does Demon who sighs but keeps her eyes trained on Tomas " How many of you are in there?" Tomas asks " Too many for you to handle" Rick says " You guys rob a bank or something? Why don't you take him to a hospital?" Tomas asks " How long you been locked in that cafeteria?" Rick asks " Going on like ten months" Tomas says " Riot broke out. Never seen anything like it" Big Tiny says " There is no army" Rick says after the prisoners explain what happened " What do you mean?" Tomas asks " "No government, no hospitals, no police, it's all gone" Demon tells them " For real?" Axel asks " Serious" Demon nods " What about my moms?" " My kids? My old lady? You got a cell phone or something that we can call our families?" Big Tiny and Oscar ask " Don't you get it? No phones. No computers. There's nothing. It's all gone" Beth says " As far as we can see, at least half the population has been wiped out" Demon says making the prisoners stare at them in shock and in disbelief. " Maybe more" Rick adds " Ain't no way" Tomas says " See for yourself" Beth says pointing towards the door " Go outside and see for yourself" Demon says. The door slides open as the prisoners walk out of the prison into the sun light with Rick, Daryl, Demon and Beth following them closely " Damn this sun feels good" Oscar comments. They walk though the yard around all the dead walkers laying on the ground " Good lord. They're all dead" Axel says in shock looking at the bodies " Never thought I'd be so happy to see those fences." Tomas comments " You never said----- how the hell did you get in here in the first place?" Andrew asks " We cut a hole in the fence down there" Rick says pointing to where they made the cut " That easy?" Andrew comments. Big Tiny pokes a body of a walker with a stick " So what is this like a disease?" He asks " Yeah and we're all infected expect Demon, She's immune" Rick says pointing to Demon " Well how lucky for you, freak" Tomas says making Daryl, Rick, Demon and Beth look at him in anger " What do you mean infected?" Axel asks " If I shoot you right now and you die, you come back as one of them" Demon says pointing to the walkers outside the fences. "It's gonna happen to all of us" Daryl says " Ain't no way these robin hood cats took out all these freaks" Tomas spits out " Must be 50 bodies out here" Andrew says " Where'd you come from?" Tomas asks " Atlanta" Rick answers " Where you heading?" Tomas then asks " Right now, nowhere. This place is our. We fought our asses off, meaning it belongs to us" Beth says " Really, then sweet cheeks? I guess you can take that area down there near the water" Tomas says then points towards the yard, Demon and Rick moves their eyes and back to him " Should be comfortable" Tomas says " We're using that field for crops" Rick says " Then we'll help move your gear" Tomas says " That won't be happening. We took out these walkers, this prison is ours" Demon says in a rough voice " Slow down, freak" Tomas says " You snatched our locks off our doors" Andrew says " We'll get you new locks if that's how you want it" Demon says " This is our prison. We were here first" Tomas says " Locked in a damn cafeteria, dickhead. We took it, set your ass free. It's ours. We spilled blood." Beth says " We're moving back into our cell block" Tomas says angerly " You'll have to get your own" Demon says with a glare at the way he spoke to her girlfriend " It is mine. I got personal artefacts in there" Tomas says as he starts waving his gun around, Demon, Daryl and Beth raise their bows aiming at him" Why don't we make this better for everyone? So we all win" Axel says trying to calm the situation " I don't see that happening" Tomas says " Neither do I" Demon spits out " I ain't going back in that cafeteria for one more second." Tomas says " You got other cell blocks" Beth says " They could leave. Try your luck out there on the road" Daryl suggest, Tomas glares at them, looking at the other prisoners then back to Rick " If these pussies can do all this, at least we can do is take out another cell" Tomas says " With what?" Big Tiny " Sweet cheeks and freak will spot us some real weapons." Tomas says " Rick, Demon and Beth look at each other, Beth nods at Demon making Demon nod to Rick telling him to do it " How stocked is that cafeteria? Must have plenty of food. Five guys lasting almost a year?" Rick asks then says " Sure as hell doesn't look like anyone's been starving" Beth says looking at them " There's only a little left" Tomas says " We'll take half in exchange, we'll help you take out a cell block " Didn't you hear him? There's only a little left" Andrew says "I bet you got more food then you do choices. You pay, we'll play. We'll clear out a block for you then you keep to it" Rick tells them " Alright" Tomas agrees " To be clear--- If we see your asses anywhere near our people. If I even catch your scent--- I will kill you" Demon says as she moves closer to Tomas getting in his face sneering " Deal" Tomas says

LATER

" It was coming at me, sweet cheeks" Tomas says after they finished killing the walkers " yeah, yeah, I get it" Beth says " Shit happens" Demon says as Demon, Beth and Tomas glare at each other, Demon narrows her eyes showing the pure rage in her eyes, Demon kicks his leg making him land on his knees before Beth swings her machete bringing it down on Tomas's head killing him. " NO!" Andrew shouts as Tomas's body falls to the ground after Beth pulls her machete out his head. Demon kicks Andrew in the chest sending him down. Andrew jumps and runs out of the room, Demon chases after him. Demon catches up as Andrew runs into walkers in a cells outside, he goes to turn around and run back inside but Demon closes the gate before he can. " No. Let me in, Let me in please" Andrew begs before he is surrounded by a few walkers. Demon walks off ignoring Andrew's pleas.

( Finally managed to post a chapter on this book. There will probably be two chapters of Sheriff's daughter, haven't decided yet also do you guys love Beth's glow up from being scared almost all the time but still having some courage in her to being a badass?)
