PRETTY MUCH DEAD ALREADY

The group is sitting together eating breakfast. Carl is dishing out eggs to everyone. Lori rubs her hand on Rick's head. " Hey where'd you go?" Lori says kissing the side of his head " No where, I'm here" Rick mumbles to her. " Guys? The barns full of walkers" Glenn says after 5 minutes of silence making everyone look at him in shock

BARN

The group is in front of the barn, Shane and Demon are looking though the doors. A walker appears though the slit of the doors snarling and growling making Shane jump back and Demon remains unfazed. " You cannot tell me you're alright with this?" Shane questions Rick angrily . " No I'm not but we're guests here. This isn't our land." Rick fires back " THIS IS OUR LIVES!!" Shane exclaims loudly " Lower your voice." Glenn whisper shouts to him. Walkers start to bang against the doors snarling from the inside. " We can't sweep this under the rug." Andrea says " So we either go in there, we've got to make things right or we've just got to go. Now we've been talking about Fort Bennett for a long time." Shane tells Rick suggestively " We're not leaving." Demon sneers out " Why? Why?" Shane questions " Because my daughter is still out there." Carol tells him " Okay. I think it's time that we all start to just consider the other possibility" Shane tries to gently tell them " Shane, we're not leaving Sophia behind" Rick tells him " Not like you left Otis behind" Demon mumbles quietly but Daryl hears her. " I'm this close to finding this girl. I just found her doll two days ago." Daryl tells him. " You found her doll, Daryl. That's what you did. A doll." Shane spits out which makes Demon walk closer getting in his face, they glare at each other. "Why don't you shut the fuck up? You don't know what your talking about." Demon sneers at him. Rick and Daryl gets in-between them pulling them away from each other. " I'm just saying what needs to be said. You get a good lead, it's in the first 48 hours." Shane tells Daryl " Let me tell you something else, man. If she was alive out there and saw you coming all methed out with your buck knife and geek ears, she would run in the other direction" Shane spits out again making Demon rush at him tackling him to the ground, hitting him over and over again as well as Shane managing to get a few hits in too. " DEMON!" Rick rushes over along with Daryl lifting Demon off of Shane. T-Dog stands in front of Demon who's pacing back and forth with pure murderous anger in her eyes. " Keep your hands off me" Shane tells her " Oh what you gonna do about it, Murder?" Demon seethes " If we're gonna stay, if we're gonna clear this barn, I have to talk him into it. This is his land." Rick tells everyone. Dale looks at a furious Demon. " Hershel thinks those things are people. Sick people. His wife, His step son." Dale says " You knew?" Demon questions " Yesterday, I talked to Hershel" Dale tells them " And you waited the night?" Shane asks him " I thought we could survive one more night. We did. I was waiting till this morning to say something. Glenn wanted to be the one." Dale tells him " That man is crazy, Rick. If he thinks those things are alive or no--" Shane begins " That's rich coming from you" Demon speaks up " Oh you gonna kill me now, Demon? Come on then, take your shot here and now." Shane says to her. Demon goes to speak but the walkers all bang on the doors again trying to burst it down growling and snarling. They all stare at the doors. Lori pulls Carl back behind her in a fright.

LATER

Maggie and Beth are picking up eggs putting them in a basket. " Do you think Demon will hate me now?" Beth asks " Why do you think that?" Maggie says " Cause I didn't tell her about the barn?" Beth tells her sister " Do you like Demon?" Maggie questions " Yeah but I don't think she likes me" Beth tells her sadly " why?" Maggie asks "because she doesn't show it and I can tell she doesn't " Beth says " Well you know she doesn't show emotion not since her mom died" Maggie tells her " Well what do I do?" Beth asks her " I don't know. Show her that you like her or tell her. Do something" Maggie tells her.

CAMP

Demon is cleaning her combat bow and guns with a rag deep in her thoughts, Beth slowly makes her way closer to her stopping and walking towards the backyard. Demon sees her and follows her curiously grabbing her hand pulling her behind the shed. " What are you doing?" Demon questions " I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the barn of walkers. I wanted to. I swear I did but I..... Please don't hate me" Beth tells her making Demon sigh softly as she cups her face leans forward slightly and softly kisses her making Beth gasps in shock before kissing her back. " I don't hate you, Beth. I could never hate you. Like I said before. I trust you and I-I l-like.. you" Demon announces softly feeling scared that for the first time since her mom died that Beth didn't like her making Beth smile " I like you too, Demon" Beth tells her making Demon sigh in relief. " Will you be my...( Clears her throat) I was wondering if you wanted to be... do you want--" Beth stutters out before Demon cuts her off smiling leaning forward touching her lips against hers, moving her lips in a soft passionate kiss. Beth smiles into the kiss "I would love nothing more then to be your girlfriend, Beth Greene." Demon mumbles to her making Beth smile kissing her once again, this time much more passionately.

LATER

Beth, Demon, Glenn and Maggie are all on the porch talking when most of the others approach as does Shane with the gun bag. "Daryl, Demon, come get your babies." Shane says making Daryl and Demon look at each other before walking closer to him grabbing their guns off him. what's this shit?" Demon questions " You with me?" Shane wonders " Yeah" Daryl says. Shane hands T-Dog a gun " Thought we couldn't carry." T-Dog wonders " We can and we're going to." Shane tells them as he hands Glenn a rifle " We know this place isn't safe. Can you shoot?" Shane says then asks Maggie and Beth " Can you stop?" Maggie and Demon asks " We have to stay, Shane" Carol tells him " Oh we're staying. We're taking this place over. This our farm now and I'm in charge." Shane tells them " Says who, murder?" Demon questions "Says me" " You do this and my dad's gonna make you leave tonight" Beth sternly tells him. " I'd like to see him try, Beth" Shane sneers making Demon step forward in front of her. " What's this?" Lori questions him " We're taking this place over, this is our place now and I'm in charge" Shane tells her making Lori stare at him in shock and disbelief. Demon moves back to stand next to Beth wrapping her arms around her waist pulling her closer to her kissing her on the cheek. " Hershel's gonna understand who's in charge now? He's gonna have to. We need to find Sophia. Am I right?" He says then asks. He pulls out a gun and kneels in front of Carl, Lori takes the gun giving it to Demon who glares at him whilst putting the gun on her gun belt. "Oh shit" T-Dog says out loud looking at something making the others look at him before looking at where he's looking seeing Jimmy, Hershel and Rick with two walkers. " What the hell" Demon mumbles out Shane runs towards them, Demon chases after him hot on his ass." What the hell are you doing?" Shane asks " Shane, back off." Rick tells him " Why do your people have guns?" Hershel questions " Are you kidding me? You see? You see what they're holding onto?" Shane sneers out to the others " I see who I'm holding onto" Hershel tells him " Hey, Hershel man could a living breathing person could they walk away from this?" Shane question shooting the walker he has three times, the walker snarls. " STOP IT!!" Demon and Rick shout to him. He shoot is again" That's the heart, it's lungs. Why's it still coming?" Shane asks him. He shoots the walker again " ENOUGH! STOP IT!" Demon shouts out. " Yeah you're right, man. That is enough." Shane says before shooting the walker Hershel was holding making Hershel fall to his knees. Everyone is staring in shock. " Enough risking our lives for a little girl who's gone" Shane says, Beth is crying, Demon takes her into her arms kissing her on the head rubbing her back. Maggie knees down next to Hershel. " Enough living next to a barn full of things that want to kill us. Enough. Now if you'll want to live, if you'll want to survive, you got to fight for it. You need to follow me and fight for it right now." Shane tells them as he turns around and runs to the barn doors. Shane, don't to it. Don't!" Demon shout to him as Shane slaps his fist against the wooden doors. " Come on, come on. We're out here." Shane says as he backs away hearing the snarling from inside. Demon pulls Beth behind her, Lori pulls Carl behind her as Daryl, Andrea, and T-Dog stand behind Shane as he opens the doors as the walkers pour, they shoot the walkers killing them one by one. Demon looks to Beth making her nod at what she's asking and Demon moves forward shooting walkers. A single growl comes from the barn, everyone watches as a small figure walks towards the door snarling. The small walker walks out, covering it's face from the sunlight looking up to the group snarling. It's Sophia. Everyone watches in shock and horror. Carol cries out running but Daryl grabs her stopping her from running to her daughter. Sophia walks closer to the group snarling and growling. Demon steps forward holding her gun in her hand as -the others call out to her but she keeps her eyes on her lifting her gun pulling the trigger shooting Sophia killing her. Sophia falls to the ground dead.
