Bill and I have been together for now 5 years, we married two years ago and have an adorable little boy named Simon, Simon isn't old enough to know everything that happens in his dads life, he's only four, yeah bill and I weren't very careful when we started dating but we love our little boy more then anything. Bill had been gone from the house for nearly a year now ! He was on tour, a new tour called the feel it all tour, it was the first time he left since humanoid. We learned about my pregnancy a little after humanoid which was one of the biggest reason why he took a long break from touring and music. He wanted to be here for my pregnancy and for the first few years of our sons life... but he missed music.. and being his wife of course my goal was to encourage him to get back to what he loves and that ill be doing just fine even with him gone... Well I never actually thought what Simon would do... He never talked about his dad, the first month he was asking when would dada be home but now ? He doesn't even talk about dad... Well today ? Was bill's return !! The door opened as bill came in with his luggages

B : Hello Hello Loves

Bill smiled as he ran to me, spinning me around giving me a kiss, god I had missed him so much.

Y/n : Welcome home baby, how was tour !

B : God it was so tiring, but so fun to be back on stage ! With all the fans, and all the boys... it seriously was just amazing... where's my little guy ?

Bill smiled looking around, I called Simon as he came down and hid behind me...

Y/n : Well Simon, go say hi

S : Hello sir...

Simon said a bit shy... sir ? Bill's face decomposed as he looked at his own son who didn't seem to recognize his father... I mean yeah bill had cut his hair shorter during tour since last time... but it wasn't like a huge change.. he just cut them and died them black again... he still was the same. Bill looked at Simon

B : Sir ? Well lil man it's me, dada

Bill smiled thinking it was confusing Simon, Simon shook his head

S : nooooo, dada is gone, dada I have no more dada, you're not dada... dada is blond and has lion hair !!

Simon exclaims as he ran to show bill a picture of himself in 2013... with his long blond hair

B : But lil man that's me, I just cut my hair

Simon ran off

S : No !! Dada is blond !! YOUR NOT MY DADA

He ran to his room crying.. My heart sunk as bills face broke in pieces... oh goodness... I took his hand

Y/n : Darling ?

B : He doesn't remember me.... Why doesn't he remember me ! Y/n ! Why doesn't he remember me !!

Bill teared up tears rolling down his cheek.. His heart was shattering in pieces seeing that due to touring and changing a bit his son didn't even remember him... Oh bill...

Y/n : He maybe is confused.... He'll remember I can assure you he will remember at some point.. your his dad he will remember

I kiss bill as he was completely destroyed, the days went on as Simon kept asking what was the man doing here.. now three months and still nothing.. Simon became a litteral bubble and bill was still absolutely broken.. I had to explain to him that Simon was a child and he will remember who his father was ! Bill was getting back from the hairdresser today dying his hair blond again, he kept saying that black was making him look old. As he came home he opened the door and Simon's eyes lit up.. He ran out of the breakfast table to Bill

S : DADA !!!!

He screamed jumping to bill as bill too him in his arms

B : W...what did you say ?

S : Dada you shiilllyyy

Bill looked at me as a tear of joy slipped on his cheek, he hugged Simon so tight I've never seen bill with such a smile I've got my heart melting

B : Your right honey, it's me, dada

He kissed Simon's forehead with a huge smile, he put Simon down rushing to me as he kissed me just like on our wedding day, like a victory that his son recognized him. It was adorable to see bill so happy and excited that he made it and his son recognized him.. I told him he'd remember
