Jess- Rach xx
Leah- so you're arguing with your love interest over her ex girlfriend? Xx
Jess- yes. I know it sounds stupid xx
Leah- no it doesn't. Meet me at the cafe on the corner in 10 xx

As soon as I see Leah she gives me a big hug.
Leah- oh what am I going to do with you
Jess- I don't know, honestly I just want to curl up in a ball
Leah- oh Jess, talk to me
Jess- I've been in love with this girl since we were teenagers. She's never even seen it. She doesn't have a clue. Now she's telling me one minute that she wants me then the next she's done with me.
Leah- have you told her how you feel?
Jess- no.
Leah- then how do you expect her to know?
Jess- I don't expect her to just know. But how do I tell her?
Leah- just sit her down, talk to her. Tell her how you feel. If she feels the same way then great. If she doesn't then maybe you can still give it a go. And if she doesn't give it a go she's a fool

Jess- I don't want to take advantage of her situation
Leah- you wouldn't be taking advantage of it. There's nothing wrong with telling someone how you feel about them

We carry on talking over coffee for a while. We have some laughs, me and Leah. We've been friends for years but we've grown closer since I got called up. Its nice. I feel like she's someone I can turn to about anything.

I get back to our room and am scrolling through Instagram with some of the girls when I see that Hannah has posted something on Instagram. Immediately I get up and lock myself in the bathroom. I feel my chest tightening. My heart pounding and my chest tightening. There's a knock on the bathroom door.
