I woke up in a cold sweat, having a weird feeling in my stomach.

I felt...nervous? Anxious? I don't know how to explain it, but maybe it'll go away.

Maybe it's from me just now waking up.

I check the time on my phone to see I have about 40 minutes to get ready for class.

I quickly take a warm shower, wash my face, do my hair, and put on my clothes.

Today I chose to wear a simple black hoodie with blue jeans and a pair of my white chunky sneakers.

I went out into my kitchen and made me some toast with jelly for my quick breakfast before I had to leave.

The weird feeling in my stomach still hadn't gone away, so I hoped that if I ate something then maybe it would get better.

Something just felt off, but I don't know what it was.

After I finished eating, I grabbed my bag and hurried out the door.

As I walked through the front doors to my apartment complex, I noticed a familiar face on the other side of the street.

I look closer, and it was... Heeseung?

Before I could do anything, he looked over at me and smiled. He then quickly ran across the empty street towards me.

"Hey." He says, stopping in front of me.

"Hi! I didn't know you lived over here." I say.

"Oh, yeah. I just live a few minutes that way." He says, pointing in a direction behind me.

"Ohh! Do you wanna walk with me? We're going the same way anyway." I ask.

"Sure.

As we started to walk, I realized that he was alone today when he's usually with his friends.

"Where are the others? How come you're walking alone?"

"Sunghoon drove them. I would've gone but I wanted to walk today since the weather was nice." He says, looking up at the orange and light blue sky.

"You're right, It does feel nice today." I say.

The weird feeling in my stomach quickly turned to butterflies as my eyes stayed glued to Heeseung.

He looked so effortlessly handsome.

His round yet sharp eyes, his broad nose, his perfect lips, don't even get me started on that jawline.

He looked unreal.

Heeseung suddenly looked behind us, startling me at the sudden movement.

"What?" I ask.

"Sorry, I thought I heard something." He says, turning back and facing forward.

That was weird...whatever.

"Let's walk this way, it'll get us there faster." Heeseung says, gently grabbing my hand and pulling me toward a different sidewalk.

"Are you sure this way is faster? I've never gone down here before." I ask, looking around while still holding onto Heeseung's hand.

"Yeah, don't worry. I've taken this way before and it gets us there a few minutes quicker."

He looks behind us again, tightening his grip on my hand.

It started to hurt, causing me to wince feeling the pressure tighten.

Heeseung notices and lets go of my hand.

"Sorry." He says.

"It's okay. Oh, I see the campus." I say, pointing ahead of us.

"See? I said it was quicker."

We walk onto campus, Heeseung leading us toward a family trio standing near the front door.

"Hold on, I need to tell them something real quick before we go to class. Is that okay?"

"Yeah, of course. Take your time." I say, moving and standing off to the side.

I watch as Heeseung walks up to them and starts talking to the three.

The three were smirking and laughing at first until their expressions turned serious.

Heeseung whispered something to Sunghoon, then said something to Sunoo and Niki.

What were they talking about that suddenly changed their mood?

It was all a little odd, but yet again it was none of my business.

Heeseunf says something to Sunghoon again before walking back over toward me with a sigh.

"You ready?" I ask.

"Yeah, let's go." He says.

I wonder what he told them...

i can't wait for the real stuff to start happening so this book can finally start getting interesting
