Morning soon came but only the guys where working seeing they all agreed Michelle would have more rest do to her wounds, Taiju would help skin more the animals in order to make large bags for later while Senku was cooking this time and Tsukasa went to gather more water… well more than normal seeing 1 they need it for food and to drink but 2 also to help Michelle take a bath seeing she can't go to the river for a while least as Senku instructed, almost around 10:30am is how she normally woke up if she over slept, yawning a bit and stretching her limbs like a cat. Ruth would come close and give her cheek a little nudge with his nose, her eyes soon focused and smiling as she reach her right hand to scratch his neck and give his nose a light peck
“Morning to you too… I'm guessing they let me sleep more didn't they?” Before Ruth could answer they saw Senku already came in with some cooked food on a stick “Finally awake. How does your body feel, can you breathe with out pain?” as he asked she would sit up a bit but whimper lightly seeing it did hurt but only if she try to fully get up, putting the food on the desk he would come over and help her lean against the wall of the lab, worried was plastered on his face
“I can breathe well there's no pain…but getting half way up is painful… I guess that's kinda the only pain I fell for now but I can still walk.” “good, Taiju is skinning the animals when there ready ill let you make them into bags seeing we would use them later before we actually turn the shells into carbonate.” “okay… how many big bags you need?” “if we could make around 5 that be great but also make another one but medium size to travel just in case”
they need to have things ready in secret in case of departure, knowing from experience it's best to cover all base of attacks and defense and more when you don't know the enemy. Getting up to his full height Senku would give a plate to Michelle and smile before he left leaving her and Ruth alone till she was done and would come out to see what she can do while she wait for the skin to be used. Sitting by the tree as she saw the friends talk with each other mostly Senku explaining and giving instructions till Tsukasa came by and sat next to her.
It took all she had not to show her beast side seeing she still felt uneasy with him but would look at his eyes and smile lightly thanks to her mothers teachings she could consider hiding her true feelings well. “How are you feeling are you still in pain?” he asked as he start to sharpen a stone a bit bigger then her normal spears she had done “Well yes I am in away… it hurts to fully get up but luckily I can breathe with out pain so I'll be fine… still I feel helpless that I can't help much.”
Looking down at her lad showing more sadness it was half fake seeing she was hoping to do more to help the work load go faster “I'm sure you can still help even if you can't move much. But I'm glad to see your spine isn’t in pain anymore least you can walk… if you need help with going around I can always carry you so you don't put a lot force on your walk”
Michelle couldn't help but listen carefully to his words she could tell he was worried for her and he was not telling a lie still she knew all to well that even a weak and nice person could be a deadly person, how ever for some odd reason he also trigger a distant feeling she hasn't felt for a long time but she couldn't pin what it was “I may take you on that offer seeing there are times I go in the forest to collect herbs for my medicine and sure I could tell Senku but I rather he worries on his own work and I worry on mine”
she explain as she saw the friends talking and at times arguing seeing Taiju said something stupid again and once again Senku had to help and explain things seeing they where making more pottery
“I see you like him a lot.” Hearing his statement had the girl flinch a little then look at him a bit wide eye as he seem to smile genuinely for a few seconds she saw a pure light in his eyes but then look away as she cover her mouth to try to hide her laugh
