Chapter 10

Once back at the camp, Ruth was still playing keep away. While Michelle went upstairs to “Sleep” but was actually starting to pack her medical supplies along with other things she knew they would need. She had a feeling they would need to escape, as for Senku, once he had what he needed to make the “Mix” of the elixir he called for Ruth as he happily came to him and gave the container. “OH COME ON! How come he gave it to you and not to me.”

Senku couldn't help but chuckle and give a light scratch behind Ruth's left ear. He could still turn human but he was still more of a dog so this affection didn't bother him at all, in fact he loved it.

Opening the container and pouring the elixir on top the pitcher to see it slowly drop down to the cup he gave out a puzzle look as he saw how much it was “What the hell? It's not even enough for one person.” Senku said a little bit out loud making Taiju worried “Oh crap did I take it too soon!!?” standing up he would shake his head and looked directly at Taiju “no sweat. Just go back and get some more, me and Tsukasa would stay and play 20 questions or something while we wait. Oh but make it snapy won't you big oaf”

he called out as he would smirk and give a bit of a side glance to Tsukasa making sure he wasn't making it obvious as he was by the weapons rack. Taiju nod with determination as he was making a run for it “alright, full speed ahead!!”

Before he could even get too far Tsukasa would stop Taiju pulling him back and making him yelp in shock “maybe I should go instead seeing I am the fastest… I just need you to tell me where it is.” Hearing his words, Senku couldn't help but chuckle knowing he won't be able to resist but taking the bate.

Looking at him while he picked his left ear he would make it clear he was already tired but having of a 'caring less attitude' he would explain to Tsukasa best he could where it is, but also make a few other pit stops along the way so he would have a bit of a long route, thanks to Michelle scouting ahead he knew where to make things difficult but not to obvious in order not to make it suspicious.

Tsukasa was paying very close attention to each detail he mentions as he took off fast to head towards the cave. In the mean time Senku was laying back on the tree and yawning while Taiju was to busy focusing more on his beloved. Once Michelle knew Tsukasa was far away she jumped down and ran to the container giving it to Senku right away making both him and Taiju surprised of her speed

“We don't have time to waist make it now!!” she cried as she went to grab more her book bags she did to fill them up along with the sleeping bags. Senku got up and went to his lab while Taiju was wondering what the heck was going on. “I thought you went up to sleep! And what's going on?!!” “Now isn't the time to sleep as much as I want too we can't afford that right now.”

She explain as Ruth helped her gather more things to pack. Taiju went to Senku instead seeing Michelle was going all over the place not even slowing down to even look at him. “Senku what's going on? Why did you lie to Tsukasa about the actual route we normally take to go to the cave. And why is Michelle running around like the forest is on fire?” Senku was busy working mixing the wine not even a moment did he look back at his friend. “I had to do that to buy us time. We can't say here any longer Taiju so we need to leave soon as we can.”

Hearing the deep seriousness in his voice, he knew far too well he wouldn't talk like that at all unless something bad actually happen. That once happen 2 times once. “I see… you don't have to explain anymore I understand. Something happened when I was away.”

As he finish mixing the elixir and gripping  lightly on the clay cup the darkness shadows his eyes letting Taiju know just by his movements he wasn't joking around. “Yeah…. Tsukasa is a great guy… who also happens to be a murderer” He then gave Taiju the cup as he went outside to see where Michelle is. “poor that on Yuzuriha, we don't have enough time so make it fast.”
