Watching the guys from a distance Michelle felt like she should put a stop to this but she new better. Chrome had a right as much as anyone to speak there mind… so she waited. Even she needed to talk to Senku as well about tagging along seeing controlling elements won't be hard if anything they where easy for her. Staying still as she listen into Chrome as he wasn't happy about the idea of him being left behind was an understatement at this point.

“Sorry Chrome you won't be going on this mission, your staying here.” Senku said but Chrome didn't like the idea. “where's this coming all of a sudden!” “JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN… there's no guaranty this mask could work.” Hearing that was a bit offensive and more when Michelle explain she could do something so it can have a higher rate of completing the mission but she got the feeling Senku wanted others stay behind to protect them.

“in case something where to happen to me then who's going to be left to save Ruri?... Michelle is smart and knows a lot about drugs but she's not like me. If anyone who can take that place it be her sister as she has confirmed it… but how long can Ruri last if we can't find another scientist? So it's best I go and you stay here.” His words rang truth and Michelle knew that far from anyone. But she also one like herself Luna holds no compassion towards humans if anything she has a greater level if hatred towards all but a select few.

Even if she where to ask for her help there be a chance her sister will refuse or may kill Ruri instead to end her suffering. Michelle knows her sister far well than anyone especially on how she carry a mission. “Every human dies eventually but there knowledge can go on living. Being passed down for millions of year's… so I hope your ready Chrome, I'm going to pass on the entire last 20 million years of science on to you.” Hearing that was shocking and a over load of data even she knew a person like that can't comprehend that amount of info in one night!! Knowing that Michelle started to get slightly dizzy just thinking about it and Chrome was beyond shocked as he put his right hand up to stop him before he went even further.

“W-W-W-Wait this is too soon! You're the one that needs to carry on SCIENCE what are you saying! I couldn’t even replace you even if I wanted too that's just asking for trouble even with Michelle helping me!” while Chrome was explaining more to him even when sweating by nerves Michelle nod as she lean back against the lab cracking a smile. -Well he's got a point there at times I don't understand half the science talk Senku or my sis says. I won't be of much help.-  she thought to her self as she saw Kohaku come by her side to listen in on the conversation. “well ain't that sweet you do care for me. Are you my girlfriend suddenly? Dying doesn’t interest me 1MM so calm down geez.”

-Honestly at times I'm wondering if having him as a spouse be okay at this point but then again I love him for who he is.- I smile as I lay my head on the lab as Kohaku looked over my shoulder to see them were we stood wondering what was going on? “but if we don't want Ruri to die we need to go thru that poison gas to collect sulfuric acid… but if both of us succumb to it. In that instant all knowledge of science will be gone. Even if Michelle sister where to be revived there's no guaranty she will help humanity.”

This took Kohaku peak of interest as she looked at Michelle seriously knowing what she would ask she nod her head and spoke almost above a whisper. “It's true Kohaku… my sister is amazing but unlike Senku she may want to destroy the world than save it… she's not that compassionate towards humanity… and reasons I can't say why I'm sorry.” She explain to her given a genuine sad expression. Forgetting how the boys where talking for a moment till she heard how there going to make another gas mask. Still she knew what she had to do as she came out the shadows and walk up to Senku. Both guys looked at her wondering what was up as she just reached and take his hand and walk off.
