Ever since they learned of Michelle's memories that was recorded along with another deal she did but to her self this unsettled Gen more than ever, for one he didn't know anything about this draka? And yet he had a feeling making a deal with her was almost taboo or wrong least that what he thought. As for Senku he worried about what will happen once she wakes up? He knew she would blame her self even if she did this against her will and if word got out...

The villagers were still cautious about magic and sure Michelle did save more than one life but all that can change in seconds the moment they learn she did this against one them and more now that he's chief she wouldn't like it either. Kohaku and Chrome agreed to keep it secret as they left to make sure the villagers won't come on there side to see them not even Suika or Kaseki.

Ruth was still by his mother aide holding her hand as she felt it all... the pain the deep sadness and regret she was hurting her self inside and he knew this may turn bad and a possible runaway too. All they could do was watch her as she slept but tears still run down her cheek, Senku reached out and gently cress her left cheek hoping his touch would help calm her down but almost by instinct as if knowing it was him she flinch away crying even more, it broke him and Gen as she cried more

as Gen held her closer to his chest and rub her back and it did seem to calm her down but yet it still hurt. When all this happen a marked showed on her left wrist it was an "X" a red one as if it was burn in her wrist. They didn't know what it meant but Ruth did as he growled holding his mothers hand tightly.

"What's this for?" Senku asked as he looked at it. Ruth looked at him and sigh a little. "It's herself punishing herself... she always does this each time she broke a promise or did something wrong she mark her self with this.

Either she burn it on her flesh or she burns her hand in hot water." They understood and it had Gen understand why Michelle had some those marks as a child. Ruth got up then took hold of Michelle as she only stir a bit as he walked out of the lab alerting the other two. "WAIT we're you taking her?" "she needs to sleep in the woods this time. Even when she's like this it'll calm her down till she wakes up." With that he kept walking out and then jump up on the biggest tree and lay on a branch still holding her close to use his warmth to make her sleep comfortable.

There was nothing the others could do other than sleep and wait for morning hopefully the day will be better.

A few hours went by and 2hrs before sun set, Michelle woke up from a burning feeling on her neck know what it is she knew how grave this would be and had no choice but to take action. She got up awaking Ruth but before he could even ask anything Michelle rushed into Chrome shed and saw Gen along with Senku asleep she was more than happy to see them both okay but growl as she felt the pain grew more.

Putting her feelings aside she took her bag and slung it around her chest then looked at Gen wrist to see the copy gift, taking hold of his wrist she implanted a recording in it and then looked at Senku as he slept.

Once again the over whelming sadness over took her as she struggle her best not to cry for what she needed to do. Reaching in her bag she pulled out a neckless what was maid of her hair and a beautiful crystal as she took one her daggers and cut the tip her finger and place her blood on top if it.

Seeing that the blood was sucked inside the crystal she was happy, carefully taking Senku's hand and hand it to him.

Her hands slightly trembled as she place his hand on her chest looking down at him, her eyes gloss over from the tears she was desperately fighting to keep in. Letting him go she would next reached and take her neckless back the one what was around his neck, as careful as she was she was too focus on slipping the neckless out that she didn't realize he woke up a few seconds ago.
