Chapter 17

As the sun rise up, once again Chrome, Kohaku and this time Suika came along to head back to his shed. They weren't sure about last nights conversation about having to cook and that it'll help on getting more help. Still seeing how determine Michelle was last night they thought it be worth a chance to see if it works. Chrome walked up to open the door but then thought maybe there be another trap. Having that in mind he was mentally ready as he open the door and dodged out the way from the first trap seeing the log fly out and landed where he landed last time as he laughed in victory. How ever that was short lived when a sling shot was heard and a trap flew at Chrome as the rope tide around his body and with the heavy stone balls pulled him down making him lose balance as he fell down screaming once again.

Senku woke up seeing the second trap hit Chrome good then saw him fell down and he heard a loud thud and a worried Suika calling from down stairs. “well I'm impressed how Michelle makes her traps looks like you still fell for it Chrome.” “GET THIS THING OFF ME ugh it's too tight!” Chrome yelled struggling on the rope that wrapped around him tightly. Kohaku couldn't help but laugh as she helped getting him free along side Suika, in the mean time Senku looked at Michelle she was still sleeping even thru out the loud yelling. -Well dang she wasn't kidding when she said she can sleep even thru a shooting… she's a heavy sleeper.- he thought to himself as he careful got her to let go of his body then would nudge her to make her wake up.

Michelle groan as she turn on her side sleeping, laying flat on her back this time groaning in her sleep a bit. Her arms spread wide a little as she still breathe out lightly. Seeing her sleepy face Senku couldn't help but admire her more but he really needed to get her to wake up so he reached out to pinch her nose to block the air way. Then she would wake up seeing it was hard to breathe before she could lash out Senku would step a bit away as she took a hidden nail out of her and throw it in front of her as it nailed right at the door stopping Kohaku from advancing up seeing that could have easily Pearce her head.
Michelle fully awake looked around then see Senku as he was sitting down and picking his left ear as if nothing happens and Michelle just growled. Then both looked at the entrance to see Kohaku carefully looking inside to see them. “Your not gonna throw anymore weapons will you?” she asked making Michelle feel more guilty and rub the back her neck.

“Sorry it was a reflex that and Senku blocked my nose so it was hard to breathe so I reached a weapon…it really was by reflex sorry I won't throw anything else.”  Kohaku nod her head as she toss the rope with stone balls at the ground and smile at her. “I really like your traps and how well they work on Chrome. Mind teaching me sometime?” she asked making both Senku and Michelle confused but only dismiss it and nod. “Sure i'll teach you sometime.” “That have to be later right now we have work to do. We need to find more that foxtail mullet and make our signature dish.”  Agreeing with Senku, Michelle got up then start to head out but letting Kohaku go back first before she jump and out and roll in the air and make a perfect touch down same way one will do doing in gymnastics. Which surprised Kohaku how she landed so gracefully. “Wow Michelle how you do that?” she looked down and smile more at Suika.

“It was more out of habit. When I learn how to fight in the past I had to make my body flexible yet hard at the same time…not easy but it's worth it.” She explain getting Kohaku's attention learning she really had the skills to fight after she pin her down last time. Senku then walked close to the others and yawn a bit again. “mostly I say let's eat breakfast but it's best we wait seeing the sooner we get to work the sooner we can eat a new dish. Suika can you show us where you got those weeds you used to play yesterday?” Senku would ask her as she nod then start to lead the way. As everyone soon followed. Ruth catched up seeing he had to go back and grab the bag of his mother do to almost forgetting she left it. Michelle thanked him kindly as she puts the bag on her once again but it wasn't the portal it was the medical one. It was a good thing Ruth saw thru his mothers eyes when they where going to leave it's why when everyone was out the shed, he would come out and turn to a dog quickly and followed.
