Charlie wandered the empty halls, where was Evan? She had convinced Gabriel to let them go look for him after he left the assembly, they had since split up to find him. Suddenly, there was a blood-curdling scream. What if it was Evan?

"Evan!" Charlie yelled, "Evan where are you?"

She walked through the empty halls some more, occasionally turning when she needed to.

Out of no where, someone shouted, "FRITZ RUN!"

Something was definitely happening. Charlie kept going, just wanting to find Evan, not get roped into this mess. There was an uneven tapping echoing through the halls when a little red head kid came around the corner. It might have been Elizabeth's friend Fritz.

"Po-police..." he struggled, "Call... police..."

He was bleeding out of his side and stumbling all over the place. Charlie pulled her phone out of her pocket and typed in 9-1-1. It rang for a few seconds until someone picked up.

"911 what's your emergency?" The voice on the phone said.

"Umm, I'm at Hurricane Senior High, uhh, someone has- someone has been injured," Charlie started, "I- I don't know what happened but someone stabbed him,"

"I'm sending people now, can you two go out to the entrance?" The voice told Charlie, "Who was stabbed and who stabbed them?"

Charlie helped Fritz walk towards the entrance.

"His name is, uhh, Fritz," she answered, "I don't know his last name and I didn't see what happened, there was a scream before though and it's definitely a stab wound,"

"Just wait outside and keep me on the line," the voice ordered her.

They got out to the entrance and sat down on the steps. Suddenly, the bell rang and Charlie heard all the people leaving the auditorium on the other side of the school. Sirens could be heard nearby as everyone came out to the front of the school and clumped up by the doors. Some were in shock, some were crying, and others just didn't know what was going on. Jeremy and Gabriel came running out the front doors and looked around. Having seen Charlie and Fritz, they rushed over.

"What happened?" Gabriel asked, sitting next to Charlie.

"Fritz was attacked," she replied, gesturing to his bloodied up body.

"Elizabeth's friend?" Gabriel questioned.

Charlie nodded. As if Gabriel summoned her, Elizabeth rushed through the doors, followed shortly by Cassidy.

"Where's Evan?" She interrogated, running over to Charlie, "Where is he?"

"I don't know, I haven't seen him," Charlie told Elizabeth.

Suddenly, two police cars and an ambulance came zooming around the corner and stopped in front of the school. Doctors came rushing out and crowded around Fritz. They picked him up onto a stretcher and carried him into the back of the ambulance. As the ambulance went driving away, Evan ran out the front doors of the school and towards the group.

"OH MY GOD! ELIZABETH!" He yelled, hugging Liz, "I heard the scream and you shouting and I had to know you were okay,"

"I'm okay," She replied, hugging Evan back.

A trio of police officers approached the group and one of them began talking. He looked like the leader of the three.

"Are you the friends of the victim?" He asked.

"Yes, why?" Cassidy answered.

"Come with us please," He replied.

Before they knew it, the six of them were whisked away into the two police cars. Evan, Charlie, and Elizabeth were in one, Jeremy, Gabriel, and Cassidy in the other.

"Why have you been like this today?" Charlie asked Evan as they drove, "I get your friend died but all I did was try and help,"

"You don't get it," He answered, "You don't understand how it feels to lose someone this close to you,"

Elizabeth was sitting next to Charlie as they talked and was listening in on the conversation.

"But Evan," Charlie said, "I do get it,"

"No, you don't," he told her.

"Yes I do," she replied, "I do know because when I was five I lost my mum,"

Evan went quiet.

"And I shut everyone out just like you," Charlie continued, "I didn't let anyone help. But I should've. If I had someone to talk to it would've been a lot easier to get through,"

"I-" Evan stuttered, "I didn't know,"

"No, you didn't," she replied sternly.

The rest of the car ride was in silence, no one wanted to talk. Eventually they made it to the police station, just before the other three. Once everyone was there, the police officers took them inside. It was so busy, there were people going desk to desk dropping off files on the ever growing piles, people were dodging and weaving obstacles just to get a coffee to their office cubicle, and everyone was yelling.

Cassidy whispered to Elizabeth, "It's like a zoo in here,"

She chuckled.

The police officers took the group to a back room were they had to stay as they were interrogated one by one. The first was Gabriel, he was taken out the room with one of the officers. There was still one officer in the room with them, the last one was standing outside the door.

There was one desk in the center of the room surrounded by six chairs. The kids were all sat around it but the officer refused to sit on the remaining seat. Evan and Charlie were sitting at opposite sides, glaring at each other.

"Are you gonna sit down or...?" Jeremy asked the police officer, not getting a response, "Okay..."

He turned back to the centre of the table and whispered to the rest of the group.

"What do you think they're asking Gabe?" He questioned.

"I don't know, maybe something about the crazy person that attacked Fritz," she replied in the quietest shout she could possibly do, "Or possibly something about Susie's death, I don't know, just a thought,"

Everyone was clearly very tense. Suddenly, the officer from before came bursting in with Gabriel making the group jump.

"Elizabeth, can you come with me please," he told her.

She got up and followed the man out the room. They walked down a hallway until they turned and entered an almost empty room, with a table, two chairs, and a mirror on the wall.

"Elizabeth, do you know anything about the person who attacked your friend, Fritz?" The officer asked.

"I didn't see him get attacked, but I think it was the guy who chased me through the school after I found Fritz," she replied.

"Okay..." he muttered before talking to Elizabeth again, "You were chased by someone... Can you describe what they looked like?"

"Okay, well, they were wearing a black cloak that covered their entire body except for the face," she told the man.

"And what did their face look like," he questioned.

"I didn't see it, it was covered by a mask with a ghost face," she answered.

"Did they look like this?" The officer interrogated, holding up an image.

The image was of a stage with a curtain, surrounded by arcade machines, all with some kind of grainy filter on it. Elizabeth recognized it as Pirate's Cove from the pizzeria, it must be camera footage. In the middle of the image stood a figure dressed in black with a white ghost mask.

"Yes that was it," Elizabeth told the man.

"Elizabeth," the officer's tone got very cold, "Are you sure?"

"Yes," she replied.

The officer's face dropped, something was clearly very bad about that. Suddenly, Elizabeth's phone started ringing...
