The night went surprisingly smoothly, no one died and there were no strange phone calls at all. It had been a while since the attack the day before and Elizabeth wanted to go see Fritz.

She went into Michael's room fairly early in the morning to ask.

"No,"

"But Mike, he's in hospital," Elizabeth pleaded, "I just want to see my friend!"

"You have school today, it's Friday,"

"Are you really going to send us to school today,"

"Okay, fair, but I can't just take you to the hospital and watch everyone else at home,"

"Mike please!"

"I'm not letting you guys get hurt again, and besides, there's no point just taking you,"

"Well I wanted to go too," Cassidy spoke up as she entered the room.

"Ok but who'll watch the other kids?"

"Listen Mike," Elizabeth told him, "They're in tenth grade, it'll be fine,"

After much deliberation, Mike decided to give in to the girls and take them to see Fritz.

---

It was around lunch when the three finally left.

"Ok kids, when we're gone, you need to be careful, and safe, I don't want any of you to get hurt," Mike told the younger group of teens before leaving.

Evan was unsure about this, why would Michael of all people leave them home alone, especially Evan. Mike had been overprotective of Evan ever since 'The Bite', he thought it was probably the guilt he felt from it. Evan had mostly forgiven Mike despite the scars still on his head.

After Mike left with Elizabeth and Cassidy, Evan stayed sat on the couch. It had been not even five minutes when Jeremy got bored.

"I'm bored,"

"Yeah well what bright idea do you have to kill time?" Charlie asked.

"We could watch a movie?" Jeremy said, clearly excited and reaching for the VHS shelf.

"Yeah, I'd be down for a movie," she replied.

"Okay so we could watch Friday the 13th, I've been wanting to see it." Jeremy suggested.

"What, after everything that's happened?" Even asked, shocked.

"Okay fine, Halloween?"

"Alright, no, Jeremy, you're not picking," Charlie ordered, "Now lets see, ah yes, Star Wars, we could watch the whole trilogy,"

"Yeah yeah okay," Jeremy resigned.

"Then lets start it up then," Gabe spoke for the first time in the conversation, reaching for the VHS and heading to the player; he had previously been lost in thought.

The VHS slid in almost effortlessly and they started the film.

---

Scenes of the main characters trying to escape the Death Star flash across the screen and the sounds of loud explosions almost shake the living room, blocking out the sound of the doorbell.

The doorbell rings again, this time during a quieter part of the film.

"Your powers are weak, old man," Darth Vader says menacingly on screen.

"I'll go see what that is," Evan says, turning down the T.V. a bit before leaving the room.

Opening the front door, Evan was surprised to see a face he hadn't seen in a long time.

Hands grasped at Evan's body, slowly lifting him up.

"Oh! Hey bud, is your brother home?"

"Uhh, no, he took Elizabeth and her friend to the hospital,"

"Oh, that's a shame, are they okay?"

"NO! I don't want to go!" Evan screamed.

"Uh, yeah, they're just visiting,"

"Oh that's good, can I come in?"

The older boys carried Evan's flailing body through the diner, no one standing up to help.

"No, no, I think I'm good,"

"Okay, well I wanted to talk to Mike, but since he's not here, can you pass on a message for me?"

Evan nodded.

"Great, so I was talking to him yesterday but he kinda kicked me out before I could actually tell him what I was trying to tell him,"

"Wonder why," Evan muttered.

"So can you tell Mike when he gets back to meet John, Riley, and I at the pizzeria later, maybe around seven? And look, I know it's shut down but that's why it's the perfect place to chat,"

Out front of the house there were two other people by what was supposedly his car; an old black Ford Escort. They were Riley and John.

Riley, John, and Matt (the man in front of Evan) were Michael's friends back in the early 80s. Evan didn't remember them except that they were with Mike when 'the Bite' happened.

"Hey guys, I think the little man said he wants to give Fredbear a big kiss!" Mike, wearing a Foxy the Pirate Fox mask told the other mask wearing kids.

The others agreed, muttering and nodding, one was laughing. All through this Evan was in their arms, begging to be released.

"On three," Michael continued, "One... Two... THREE!"

"So, will you tell him?"

Evan snapped out of his trance like state and back into reality.

"Uh, um, yeah,"

"Great, see you around," Matt said before turning towards his car and leaving.

Evan already knew he wouldn't be telling Mike.

---

Back inside, a space battle was happening between the main characters and some enemy ships.

"Who was that," Charlie asked.

Gabriel and Jeremy were both too engrossed in the film to know or care that Evan was back.

"Um, no one." Even answered.

He sat for a moment looking at the film but not really watching. He was thinking. Isn't it funny how Matt and the gang have suddenly shown up around the same time as attempted and succeeded murders? He wasn't sure what that meant but he was sure that he wouldn't be sending Michael to the pizzeria with them alone. He got up and paused the movie.

"Guys, sorry for interrupting your movie but I have an idea..."
