Just a Friend [Jaesahi]

Hi, sahiya

Yedam walks silently beside asahi although he has alot to question but asahi visibly looked like he was himself trying to figure out his thoughts so, he just followed the pace.

"I'm sorry"

"Huh, why?"

"You wanted doyoung to accompany you right now but I'm here."

"It's fine, I kinda knew doyoung wouldn't be coming with me either way atleast I'm not alone." Yedam chucked a little.

Asahi just nodded with a slight smile.

"Actually.." Asahi broke the silence after pondering onto his thoughts.

"Jaehyuk wanted us to go to the arcade today, although I wanted to go with him but I also want to keep some distance with him now. I think I'm too attached along the fact that I also happen to have crush on him."

Yedam smiled bitterly as he could see asahi's pain inside out, he was indeed in the same position except for the fact that doyoung isn't dating anyone. Yedam doesn't even know if that's a good thing cause either way he is unable to express his feelings to his crush.

Both were suffering from their own unrequited love, both were unable to express their feelings. They decided to complete their errands and part their ways as non of them were in the mood to enjoy anything.

"Doyounga"

"Shh, haruto keep your voice down, they'll hear you" doyoung whispers.

"Do you really think they'll start liking each other after this" haruto wispers back.

Doyoung nods with a big smile as he sees asahi and yedam walk in distance . He cannot really hear their conversation but can see that they're talking, so he is quite happy.

"Do we need to follow them more, if yes we have to move they're barely insight."

"Haruto, please give them some privacy. Why would you follow them." Doyoung speaks as he walks towards the gaming cafe a few blocks back.

"What do you mean doyoung this all following thing was your idea" haruto says fuming following doyoung's lead.

Doyoung mocks haruto showing his tongue out that results in haruto running to him to give him a headlock.

On the other side, Jaehyuk has his own tangled thoughts to sort out.

"Jaehyuka, can you put the bubble tea a little higher and smile wide, it'll look good in the photo" hyena said adjusting the angle of her phone camera.

Jaehyuk followed as said. Hyena clicked some pictures and started editing them. Jaehyuk sat next to her sipping his drink as he looks away in the distance where two boys were playing basketball. He smiled as he remembered how nerve-wracking is it to teach whiny stubborn asahi to score.

Jaehyuk now smiles, wide enough to expose his whiskers on his cheeks.

"You just have to throw it like this" jaehyuk said mimicking the body posture as if he's throwing the ball.

"Yeah I did the same but it is not working"

"How can it not work? You're just doing it wrong."

"Noo, this ball might be faulty"

"Asahi, you're seriously blaming the ball now"

"I don't knowwww ok let's just play football jae" Asahi starts to whine.
..

"Jaehyuka, I'll post this to my story okay and tag you" hyena said bringing jaehyuk back from his train of memories.

"Yeah sure" he nods in agreement.

Actually jaehyuk doesn't even know how their "date" always ends up in hyena being busy on her phone and jaehyuk just zoning out. This might be their third date and has been the same since their first one.

'What is the hype about going out on dates, hanging out with asahi is more fun.' Jaehyuk ponders on his head.

Asahi is currently busy making the dinner ready, not like he usually does this but today his parents were out for some dinner party and doyoung wasn't home yet. Apart from these excuses the real reason was that he did not want to be alone,  with his thoughts.

Blasting the song in the highest volume and having a karaoke session while making the dinner was actually doing its job, he now was no longer trapped among his jumbled thoughts.

*ting*

'did doyoung forget the keys, why is he ringing the bell' asahi thought before walking to open the door.

Safe to say his peace of mind was quite short lived cause as soon the door opened asahi's now clear mind was again fogged up.

"Hi, sahiya."
