"Focus please", she warned them while explaining what the words meant. But. How can they focus when the person in front of them was oddly even more attractive wearing glasses? "For the past few days, I had been pleasantly besieged by dignitaries and world leaders who were coming to pay their respects... Ryu, what is the meaning of pleasantly?", she looked up from her book to only see them staring intently at her with heavy blushes on their face.
Chikara shook his head in disbelief before smacking the back of their heads with a newspaper, "Maigod focus! Both of you".
Tanaka swallowed the nonexistent lump in his throat before looking at the paper and looking up at her, "Umm is it shocking?". Chikara smacked his head again, "No you idiot, didn't he already explained it earlier? It means considerate manner".
"Then Yuu, what does besieged means?", she tilted her head to look at Nishinoya. "Then if the previous word means considerate so it must mean behavior!", he replied proudly, gaining another smack from Chikara's newspaper.
She heaved out a sigh, "since it's too difficult, can you take out your notes? Try writing out the difficult words that you don't know and find their meanings then write them down, please refrain from memorizing them and just try to understand them better. After that, you can try to use the new difficult word and make a sentence out of it, how's that? That'll be your homework and later I'll quiz you orally".
"Osu (Y/n)-sensei!", they yelled in unison before searching the passages for any difficult words they find. Chikara went over to her side and place a hand on her shoulder, "Thank you for helping us out". She smiled, "I do feel bad if they're not gonna join us, how about the other two? Are they studying well?".
"Well... I heard they did ask for help from Yamaguchi and Tsukishima, but I think they'll only help after training", he explained. She crossed her arms across her chest, "Then what're they doing during lunch?". He copied her gesture, "Knowing how a crackhead they are, they're probably practicing toss and spiking as we speak". She facepalmed, "Those kids, don't they have a quiz tomorrow?".
He rose an eyebrow at her statement, "What do you mean? No wait, how did you know?". She shrugged her shoulders, "They updated it to me two days ago".
"They're so unbelievable", he checked his phone, "lunch break is almost over, I'll deal with these two and you can go ahead". She nodded her head with a gleeful smile before taking off her glasses, "See you guys later~", she waved a hand before leaving the club room.
She walked near the gym and saw both Kageyama and Hinata just throwing balls at each other. "Oh? Good afternoon, (Y/n)-senpai", Kageyama greeted as they stopped the ball by catching it. "Good afternoon (Y/n)-senpai!", Hinata greeted loudly while bowing his head. A smile was drawn on her lips as she reached her hand to ruffle Hinata's hair, "Good afternoon, Tobio and Shoyo, did you have your lunch already?".
"Yes!", both of them replied together, "how about you, (Y/n)-senpai?". She pulled her hand away and reached to pet the taller first-year, "Yes, I've had my lunch, later don't forget to study for your test tomorrow".
"Test?", the two look at each other before the color on their faces started to drain even more as they begin to panic. "Tootles~", she smirked while walking away to her classroom, leaving them screaming for their own life.
That night, (Y/n) already changed into a comfortable outfit after changing into a looser chest binder. Nishinoya kept on talking non-stop about his 'findings', and she listened to him diligently until they arrived at Tanaka's household.
Heavy footsteps could be heard as both Narita and Kinoshita came running to ask for help. "We need your help, (Y/n)! Tanaka passed out after receiving a mark of 18 from his Modern Japanese Literature". She pressed her lips together and nodded her head, curious to see how dire the situation was. They opened their shoes and enter, as Nishinoya quickly dashed to his room.
Once she arrived at his room, she covered her mouth as she was holding in her laughter when she saw Tanaka was being shaken by Nishinoya who just arrived with her, while he was foaming in his mouth like death greeted him.
"Are you okay, Ryu?", she asked while still holding in her laughter. "Don't laugh!", he yelled back at her. "Seems like you're doing fine", she took a seat next to Chikara, across from both Nishinoya and Tanaka. Chikara passed his paper to (Y/n). Her dark blue contacts glistened despite being covered by her glasses, "the answer is in the passage though, come sit down both of you", she called for both of them and they immediately heed her words.
"Based on my observation from Ryu's answer, you tend to-", before she could even finish her words, she was interrupted by a female greeting the group, she look up and the older female couldn't help but gawk.
"Ryu~ I didn't know you have a good-looking friend!", Tanaka's older sister piped with an evident smirk on her face. "Nee-chan!", Nishinoya greeted excitedly. "He's a new transferee and we're studying for the finals next month", Tanaka replied with an embarrassed look on his face, "this is my sister, Saeko-nee".
"Nice to meet you, Saeko-nee, I'm Ouno (Y/n)", she smiled charmingly. "Oh my! He's such a pretty boy!", she started smacking the back of Tanaka's back while laughing out loud.
