I wake up to Jazmin yelling at everyone to get up and moving I turn around to an empty bed and the shower going. I enter the bathroom to get ready and the curtain opens "You should've woken me up" he shurugged his shoulders at me "I figured i'd do the nice thing and let you sleep in a bit love" I pecked him on the lips as I ran to get my dress on and hair and makeup done. Once I'm ready, Chuck offers me his arm and we go out to the limo where we would be shuttled. On the way to the venue, Baron's fiance spoke up, "So Chuck, when are you and Brooklyn getting married?" I choked on my spit and Chuck was quiet contemplating on how to answer I hope. "Stella leave them be. They have more important things to worry about, like save the world" Baron scolded her I nodded at him and looked at Chuck "It's alright man, I honestly haven't put much time into it. I figure once we find a way to stop these things from reoccuring I'd ask if I'm still here" His answer made my blood run cold and I stayed silent as well as everyone else on the ride there. When were out, Chuck was holding the small of my back to keep me from running look he knew I wanted to do which frustrated me "What is wrong with you?" I glared at him "If you're still here huh? What the hell happened to that damn promise to not leave" Chuck looked down "Well what the hell do you want me to say woman? It's going to be all sunshine and daisies and we'll be a big happy family and no one will die anymore?" I glared at him yet again "No Charles. But at least stop thinking you won't be here.. If that's what you think..." I started to go one and get a little loud before I looked into the bushes and could've sworn  I seen the one face i've been dying to see and stop dead in my tracks and look again but no one was there "What? What is it?" Chuck asked and I shook my head and sat down "Nothing. Just hallucinating" I replied 

It was a truly beautiful wedding, I was a tad jealous I admit but I have kaiju to worry about and not a wedding. " I looked at Charles "Sorry i was in the wrong earlier just don't like the thought of losing you" I told him and he smiled "I'm not ever going to leave willingly if I do leave Brook" I looked at him and got mad but kept it to myself. "Just do what you have to, to make sure you come back to me always"

After Charles went to sleep, I went to my spot where Raleigh and I would go to look at the stars when we were kids. I sat down and put my knees to my chest and lost it. "Yance I miss you so much I wish you were here to see it today. Jazzy was beautiful. Baron's getting married too. Raleigh and you were only ones missing. He hates me still and I wish he knew how much I miss you both. I'm so so sorry I wasn't there to have your back I hope you realize that, not a day goes by.." and I heard a branch crack causing me to jump up ready to fight "Who's there?" I ask and I turn to the other side when I thought I seen a shadow in the bushes I went closer when suddenly I was grabbed and i turned around punching them "Oww jesus woman" Chuck murmured holding his eye "I'm so sorry Charlie" I look at his eye and apologize again "Well at least you know to not sneak up on me again" I laughed at him causing him to glare and we both sit down "This is where Raleigh would take me to look at the stars" he smiled "It's beautiful but I've seen better" I scoffed at him "oh yeah? where?" He looked at me "I'm looking at her now" I kissed him and chuckled "Cheeseball" and we got off and went to the bedroom. I heard another twig crack and seen blonde hair I just knew it "Raleigh?" I whispered loudly but no one replied. I shook my head and went inside finally.

"Finally going to be in my own bed again" Chuck exclaimed as we took off back for Sydney "I can wear shorts again and not freeze my ass off" I replied making Chuck nod his head "I definitely don't want that" He smirked at me causing me to roll my eyes " No of course not". 6 hours later, and we were home. Max was the first to greet us followed by Chuck "Welcome home" he hugged me and greeted Chuck who never accepted his dad hand most of the time. "I'm so glad to be back didn't realize how much i missed this place" I exclaimed. 

July 14, 2021 

I ran to my offices connecting bathroom for the 3rd time that day to get sick. I closed up for the day and headed for my bed. I was stopped by Chuck who noticed my face "What's wrong?" i shook my head "Just feeling bad probably a stupid bug" i told him making him kiss my head and help me into bed. A few hours later, I woke up for dinner feeling like i'm starving. I felt better so why not? I thought. I got my plate and sat next to Chuck across from Herc who was eating fish. The smell was never odd to me before but now it made my stomach lurch "Brookie you ok?" Herc asked "you're looking a bit green" he mentioned. Chuck looked at me again "You sure you're alright?" and before I could answer I took off running for the bathroom. After spending awhile in the loo, I walked out gripping my stomach and wiping my mouth. "You alright Brook?" Herc walked up to me "Just feeling ill here lately" I replied causing him to grin " How long?" I shrugged me shoulders "A week or so" I replied causing him to nod his head "You should go to the infirmary to be checked out" I nodded my head "Alright". "Just make sure you get looked at soon alright?" he added in causing me to become suspicious "ok i will is there something wrong?" he shook his head "Just got my suspicions" he replied grinning "Good Night Brooklyn take it easy" "you too" I told him. That was really odd I thought and decided to go ahead and go the infirmary just to be safe.
