"WHAT?!?!?" I shrieked at the doctor as I sat on the table to be looked at. "You're pregnant Ms. Becket around 7 weeks if my calculations are correct". I started to hyperventilate "No, No, NO! You better run those tests again I cannot be pregnant! I whispered the last part" She shook her head "I already did, now if you can, please come back tomorrow and we'll do an ultrasound" I nodded my head still freaking out "Do not tell anyone" I warned her and she nodded her head in understanding. As soon as I left the room I took off for the balcony over Striker and lost it. I heard someone approach and couldn't reel it in. I look over to see Herc He pulled me in for a side hug "What's wrong?" he asked softly I inhaled and tried to regain my composure "I'm pregnant" I whispered and I heard him inhale sharply "I kinda suspected. Have you told Chuck?" I shook my head "I'm terrified to. He's 17 I'm 20. He's a jaegar pilot what the hell are we going to do with a baby herc?" He started to chuckle "you never know and I suspect my son will take it quite nicely about the baby in your belly" he replied and suddenly there was a crash we turn around at the same time to see a stunned Charles Hansen where he has just dropped the supplies in his hand "You're pregnant?" he whispered "Charlie I..." I started to say and he put his hand up and took off.... I looked at Herc with tears spilling back over "Or not" and he took off after his son. 

July 31, 2021

I laid in my bed, not a care in the world about what happens. I stay in my room and don't even bother trying to leave. Herc always brings me food whether I want it or not and threatens to stuff it down my throat if i don't eat willingly because that's his grandchild in there. I got used to him showing up all hours with food so when I was showering I heard movement in my dorm and thought nothing of it. As I came out of my bathroom, I stopped dead in my tracks, instead of Herc there was Charlie. He looked at me and froze. "Brooklyn I jus..." I cut him off "I really don't care to hear anything you have to say Charles" Tears appeared in his eyes "Brooklyn listen to me! I'm freaking out. I'm a jaegar pilot and those kaiju are coming out more and more often and not only do I have to worry about me but now there's you and our baby.." he dwindled off "I'm scared Brookie" he whispered. I wanted to yell at him but I couldn't he was telling me his feelings and that is a very hard thing to do. I walked over to where he was sitting and took his hands "All you need to worry about Charles Hansen is making sure you get your ass home to us" and i put his hands on my slightly swollen stomach. He pulled me closer to him and put his head to my stomach as i played with his hair "I love you. I'm sorry for panicking" he whispered "Don't be I understand" we crawled into bed and he held me and we talked about baby names.

August 10,2021

I was scurrying around downtown looking for a birthday present for Chuck since it was in 4 days and I was having no luck whatsoever. I was feeling very off that day and thought nothing of it. I finally came into a store with a Jacket that caught my eye. After I had the proper Amount of Kaiju kills he had and Strikers logo on his arm I bought him a Jacket that looks better than the tatty thing he wears now. On my way out of the store, I felt extreme pain hit my abdomen. After it eased up, I took off for the dome. I hid everything and went out my room when I fell to the ground from the same pain from earlier but worse and I couldn't move. "BROOKLYN!" I heard Chuck yell and pick me up in between breaths I started crying "Charlie somethings wrong with the baby" and he ran faster to the infirmary I was rushed to an actual hospital where I was rushed into surgery. I don't know how long I was out but I know my body hurt when I finally did. I look around to Chuck and Herc both passed out in chairs and I carress Chucks hair making him wake up "How ya feelin" he asks weakly and his eyes were red "I'm hurtin. is the baby ok?" I asked and tears came out of his eyes "Brookie... they..." and he got choked up "They said from where you've sustained a lot of damage and such from the older jaegars that we were lucky to have had a baby conceived." I looked at him like he was speaking spanish "you're not going to be able to carry a child Brooklyn. The baby is gone" he whispered out and the air was knocked out of me "What? No" and i lost it i turned to my side and he climbed in with me trying to make me feel better "Hey we got each other. We'll adopt if we have to" and i lost it again. "I love you Brooklyn. Not being able to have kids isn't a big deal" he replied pissing me off "but i do! now wasn't good for me but eventually I do Charlie. I want to have a baby. I was finally accepting of this and it's taken from me, everything keeps being taken from me" He kissed me and we just laid there the rest of the night.

August 14, 2021

I was finally released from the hospital. Charlie took me home and when we walked in he was surprised for his birthday and I was for coming home. I walked to my room to get his present before I turn around he comes rushing in "Brook you don't need to be walking around so much" I tossed him the jacket and walked up kissing him "Happy Birthday Charlie" he looked at it and grinned "You're amazing you know that?" I nodded and kissed him again. "Go on and celebrate babe, you only turn 18 once" I laughed and he nodded "get some rest" he kissed my head and left. I laid down and got some much needed rest.

August 15, 2021

I woke up all alone which was unheard of anymore. I got dressed and went looking for Chuck. I found Herc who said he hadn't seen him since last night but he'll keep an eye out. I walked by his room and heard commotion so i walked closer. I opened the door to see another female having sex with the man I was in love with. She ducked down to cover herself as the door opened and he looked at me with instant guilt in his face "Brooklyn.." he went to say when I launched the closest object at his head barely missing "Don't even bother.." i whispered and ran out the door. I got to my room before I broke down but not before Hercules followed me "what's wrong love?" he asked thinking i was hurting from the surgery  "I found Chuck" i whispered he gave me a look of confusion "Where was he?" he asked obliviously "screwing my replacement" i replied and he turned red unable to speak instead he just hugged me and held me there. "I'm sorry" he finally said "not your fault Herc dont be sorry." I heard Chuck yelling "Please please please keep him away from me" I asked as he nodded his head and walked out "brooklyn!" I heard chuck yell and then him and Herc yelling and finally nothing. I decided to call Stacker "Brooklyn! What a nice surprise! How you feeling?" he knew about everything so I told him what had happened and he looked grim "Well I guess instead of asking Mako I'll ask you" I looked confused "I need someone to check into my other shatterdomes around here and see how files are there" I nodded in delight "As long as I get to see you in person soon sir. I'll be delighted" He shook his head then you head out first thing in the morning for Russia first. "Thank you Sir" he nodded "one more thing, make him realize what he lost Brooklyn." and then he ended the call. I smiled to myself and headed to dinner. I sat by Hercules across from Chuck who just looked down at his plate "I got a message from Stacker" he said causing Chuck to look up as I nodded my head "Me too. I'd like to keep some of my things in my room if that's alright it's temporary and I don't feel like lugging it all around" "You're leaving!" Chuck exclaimed and I ignored him "Fine by me Brooklyn just be safe is all I ask" I nodded at him and finished my meal and went to pack. I was just finishing up when my door opened "You can't leave" Charles demanded "Yes I can actually. I can do what I want" he shook his head "No Brooklyn! You can't you can let me explain and let me fix it!" i snapped at this "Fix what? Huh? Can you unfuck that girl? How can you explain how you were balls deep in her huh?" he looked down "my point exactly. You could care less about me so just stop" he turned around to leave and looked at me" I'd do anything to take my mistake back but I can't. You're wrong Brooklyn Becket I care about you too much and love you more than you'll ever know" and he walked out causing me to lose it again.
