Losing my heroes

It had been 2 weeks since Baron and I had our quarrel and I still had been sleeping in Yancy and Raleighs Room rotating beds and tonight I had been in Yancys bed after staying up watching the stars with all of them. I think we'd only been asleep for maybe 2 hours when 

*Beep beep beep*

"Yo, Yancy, wake up!" Raleigh said as he started hitting the bed around us making us groan "Hey, come on! We're being deployed" Raleigh yelled "Great" Yance replied trying to get his bearings "of course their not taking doom" I muttered pissed off "Good morning" Yancy told us "Morning" we replied " Kaiju's a Category 3, biggest one yet. Code name: Knifehead"    Raleigh said making my stomach lurch making me super nervous "What time is it?"  Yance asked "2"  Raleigh informed him "A.M.?" "yep" I popped the p as Yancy rubbed his neck heading for the bathroom  Raleigh walked  up to him with his knucks out " What do you say? Fifth notch on the belt?" and they did their fist bump and  there was beating at the door"Come on, Beckets.Time for the drop. " Hey kid" Raleigh looked at Nancy like a kid on Christmas "Don't get cocky" making us all laugh.

I followed my brothers to the bay I gave them hugs and I love yous and then took off to where  Tendo Choi was in LOCCENT as he watched the Kiaju signature for them. I walked in as Raleigh was telling him he was going to get his ass kicked and Marshall telling them to watch the miracle mile and to not worry about the boat that will be in enemy territory. "That's cold" I said at the same time as Raleigh making Stacker irritated but he liked me so he kept to his self. "Come on bro put some muscle into it" Raleigh yelled making me laugh "Worry about yourself kiddo" Yancy spat back "Are you  two always going to argue like a married couple?" I smarted off and I swear I heard Marshall snicker. After a few minutes of talking they arrived at their destination and i heard Raleigh yell "Shoot it" and Yancy yelled at him "I'm on it" and then Tendo told Marshall "Discharge reading, sir. Plasma cannon in the shallow shelves seven miles off the coastal line" making me smirk and Marshall grabbed the mic "Gipsy, what the hell is going on?" Raleigh quickly replied "Jobs done sir, Lit it up twice. Bagged our fifth kill" Marshall was now pissed "You disobeyed a direct order" and Yancy spoke up "Respectfully, sir we intercepted a Kaiju and saved everyone on that boat" Marshall was livid by now " Get back to  your post, NOW!" "Yes sir" They replied and Tendo started flipping out "We're still getting a signature! That kaiju is still alive" I grabbed the mic then yelled "That Kaiju is still alive grab that boat and get out of there now!" before  long i heard  Raleigh yelling in pain and Tendo saying the left arm has gone  cold. "LOCCENT we're hit" Yancy yelled then I heard the last thing I thought imaginable " Yancy was talking to Raleigh" Raleigh, listen to me! You need... Aah!" I heard Yancy screaming in horror then nothing just silence as Raleigh screamed no what I  didn't know was I was screaming too causing Baron to come running in as I watched the screen in horror "Raleigh switch to your right and kill that fucker and please come back"I was crying so muchI heard tendo say they lost all signal after second discharge  went off causing me to put my head down and put my hand on the screen. I was then picked up bridal style and when I looked up I expected to see Baron but instead saw Stacker and he laid me in Raleighs bunk, handed me Yancys Jacket and pillow  and covered me up like a child after giving me sleeping meds. I held onto Yancys' jacket like a teddy bear that morning.

We held a funeral for Yancy after they brought Raleigh back. Afterwards, I tried talking to him for the millionth time "Leigh look please talk to me" He glared at me "Why should I?" He said I hovered back "Why are you like this?" "You know why! Brooklyn! You were supposed to be there and have our back and now Yancy is dead! It's all your  fault!! Yours!" The tears were pouring yet again. "Yeah you're right it is my fault! It's my fault my twin is a pussy and couldn't hold his own and I couldn't pilot myself" "You could've made him" "Raleigh please don't go I'm so sorry if I could trade him places I would" "yeah me too because I lost everything I have no one now" That broke me completely and I fell to the floor because I realized I lost both my heroes in such a short time. Yancy was dead, Raleigh hated me and blamed his death on me and then there was Baron. I raised my head  off the floor and felt the rage coming as I ran to the dorm he was in "YOU SON OF A BITCH!!" I screamed as I attacked him and started weigh laying punches into him and connected with his face "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! YANCY COULD BE ALIVE BUT YOU DID THIS BECAUSE YOU WERE AFRAID! WELL HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW YOU'RE FEAR  IS WHAT DID THIS! I DESPISE YOU!!"  Marshall had grabbed me and was pulling me away from him Baron just nodded his head in understanding. By time I had calmed down to go apologize he was gone too, his things all packed up and gone just like Raleigh. I now had no one.I leaned against the wall "Yance I miss you so much. I'm so sorry" and for the billionth time with my head on my knees I cried. I looked at the calendar and started laughing to myself, March 15,2015 "Happy Birthday Baron" and cried some more.
