I smirked at his cheesy self and fixed myself in front of the mirror and rushed to the elevator to head towards LOCCENT to watch my brother and Mako(hopefully) test their drift compatibility and work on being in Gipsy. I meet Stacker in the elevator and noticed him touching his nose as he had blood and frowned "It's getting worse isn't it?" I whispered and he looked at me "Nothing to worry about Brook, all's well" and I looked at him again "You know Mako is the best candidate for this right?" he stared at me and muttered "She's the second best technically". I sighed and replied to him "I've made up my mind and stickin to it" he nodded his head but still not pleased whatsoever.

We walked to outside Mako's room and I motioned for him to stay for a moment and watched Raleigh walk by in his own world after sitting outside her door and smirked. I knocked on her door and she opened quickly as if expecting her lover and I smiled "Hello Lover" I laughed and she rolled her eyes at me as I shut the door but not all the way "Soooo, you expecting you love there Mako??" and she rolled her eyes "You missed it" she smirked at me and I looked at her confused "I sparred with Raleigh and won and he said i'm his co-pilot but then we argued and things got awkward" she muttered the last part as I grabbed her arms "Mako calm down dearie!! Sooo I knew it! you and my brother eh?? Weird but I like it" I said making her smile "and well Mako, let's just say opportunity likes to knock" and there was a knock at the door as she flew for door and she flung it open and was surprised to see Stacker and they greeted each other by bowing making me roll my eyes as I sat in her chair "May I come in, Mako?" He looked around and smirked at me and then turned around looking at Mako as he unwrapped the cloth bundle he had been carrying around "A long time ago,I made you a promise." he said as he held out a little red shoe and handed it to her "Dekita(get ready)" and she had tears in her eyes as she looked at him and awe and was frozen as he headed out the door and I smirked at her "better go Mako or you'll lose your chance" and I followed Marshal to LOCCENT and before we headed in the door I grabbed his arm and looked at him "What you did back there, that was huge for her and she'll remember that forever on how you have faith in her" he nodded his head and walked in to see Tendo, Herc and Chuck already there.

I walked up beside Chuck and looked at Gipsy proudly, "Look at her, she gets me every time even still" and he smirked "Yeah she's alright" causing me to nudge him with my arm. "Setting harness for test mode.Waiting for second pilot." Raleigh spoke into the intercom and the AI announced the other pilot arrived and I imagined the reaction between the two making me smirk and they finally settled in. "Pilots on board and ready to connect." The AI announced making me get the jitters and Stacker go closer "initiate neural handshake" he told Tendo and Chuck grabbed my hand to show his support "Initiating neural handshake" and he typed in everything to prep the drift. Gipsy was released and powered on causing goosebumps to cover my body as memories came to mind of the old days and seeing her alive just made me feel proud after 30 seconds or so the AI came on "Right hemisphere calibrated. Left hemisphere calibrated. Ready to activate the Jaeger." and Gipsy started clenching her fist and raising them as if in a fight "Okay, Gipsy. Lining up nicely. Better get ready." He smirked and doing his thing as the AI announced "Pilot to Jaeger connection complete." and I let the breath i didn't know I was holding go but then Gottlieb came running in yelling "Marshal! Marshal! I need to talk to you." I rolled my eyes, the man was down right annoying but who was I to judge?? He was probably there to bitch about Newton again and I stood in between Stacker and Herc staring at Gipsy "Not now, Mr. Gottlieb. I'm sure you can appreciate how important this moment is to me." Stacker announced without looking back but Gottlieb yelled out again "Newton created a neural bridge from garbage and Drifted with a Kaiju." We all turned around staring at him incredulously as Stacker looked at us "Keep an eye on them I'll be back" and he flew out the door with Gottlieb beside him

Chuck took Stackers place and stood with his arms folded looking bored. I rolled my eyes and moved to beside Tendo smiling a smile I couldn't get rid of for anything because I was proud of Raleigh for being able to do it again. Gipsy banged her fist together "Pretty impressive." Herc spoke and I nodded "Yeah, he remembers how to turn it on." Chuck muttered instantly pissing me off but Herc finally had it "Oi, show some respect!! When his brother died, he got the Jaeger back to shore on his own. I've known one other pilot that's been able to do that." and Chuck looked down then at me as I shook my head and his eyes softened "You just couldn't resist huh?" I spat at him and stalked off and found my way even closer to Gipsy with Sasha and Aleksis "You finally making your way around ya?" Sasha smirked as I shoved at her getting a laugh from her "She's impressive huh?" I muttered and they nodded but Sasha noticed I was mad "What's wrong?" I rolled my eyes and leaned on the rail "My husband and his big ass annoying head" and before I could say anymore my stomach did flips and I grabbed it feeling like I was gonna hurl everywhere and I waited til I calmed down along with my stomach to look at Sasha who was looking at me with raised eyebrows "You ok Brooklyn?" She asked causing Alek to look at me too "yeah!! Just got too upset I reckon" and she smirked at me "Yeah or something like that" but before I could ask what she meant I see a big flash of blue and everyone scurrying around running for cover as Gipsy's plasma canon was charging. I ran as fast as I could for LOCCENT to see Tendo and Chuck pulling on the cord as Herc was yelling for them to get the main power line. Stacker came darting in behind me "Take them off line... TAKE THEM OFF LINE!" and Tendo grabbed a cord and looked at us "I just did!" and we looked at Gipsy as she lost power I looked out the window "Oh Rals" I whispered as I looked at Chuck who looked pissed and then back out the window and for once I couldn't be upset with him over it.

Stacker came up beside me as he sighed and I lowered my head "I tried Brooklyn and now I know my suspicions were spot on" I nodded in defeat "Show them to my office" and he walked away "It'll be alright Brookie" Herc said as he left and I smiled somewhat and that left me with Chuck "I told you so doesn't even cover this right now" he hissed I went to say something and he put his hand up to silence me and he stalked out the door. I hugged myself as I waited for Raleigh and Mako so we can await their fate
