The Sick Trio

You were currently at Tengen's place taking care of the wives. Apparently, they caught a cold from a mission they had to do in the rain. Tengen however, was with Rengoku. He tried to reason with you to let you take care of them together but you insisted that he should go with Rengoku. So there you were, taking care of your sick wives. "Babbeeee, come herrree pleasee ?" Suma whined. Suma was the dramatic one of the group. However, you can't say you didn't find it adorable. "Suma shut up, I'm trying to sleep and your noise is getting on my last nerve..." Makio said with a agitated facial expression.

Makio was trying her best to take the pain like a champ but it wasn't working in her favor, even thought she insisted it was. "Girls calm down alright ? You don't want to get even worse from here do you ?" Hinatsuru said trying to console to two arguing. She was also trying to take the pain while helping them in the process. It was your job to make sure they each get better. "Suma I'm right here hun it's okay, Makio you don't have to get upset it's alright, Hina I appreciate you wanting to help me and calm them down but worry about you too okay ?" You said trying to diffuse the situation for all three girls.

They all agreed and calmed down. It was time to give them medicine and everyone but Suma was on board. "Why do I have to do iiiittt," she whined begging you not to make her take it. You told Suma if she did it then she would give her juice to wash it out. She hesitantly agreed and took it. Afterwards, she made a face that if a toddler would have seen, they would have busted into laughing tears. As you promised, you gave Suma orange juice to wash her mouth out and she was all better after. Makio just drank it and went ti go get water and hinatsuru didn't really need anything. She just took it and was done with it.

In only a few minutes they went to sleep and you were sitting on the edge of the bed on your phone, talking to Tengen.

You turned your phone off when you heard someone mumbling to you. "Ugh...everything...hurts.." to your surprise, it wasn't Suma it Makio, it was Hinatsuru. You shook her gently waking her up, "Hinatsuru, you okay ?" She shook her head and tears filled her eyes. You lead her downstairs so she wouldn't wake the others. "Now, tell me what's wrong," you said while she started to quietly sob, "I tried to hold it in, no matter how bad the pain was, but everything hurts so bad. I feel sore and my headache is only getting worse.." you held her close and rubbed her back in gentle circles. She cried in your chest for a few minutes then fell back asleep.

You heard Makio calling your name so you gently put Hinatsuru on a pillow and went to go check on Makio. You got to the room and she didn't look good at all. "Makio, you good ?" She shook her head and you could tell she was nauseous. "Let's get you yo the bathroom." You said helping her walk ti the bathroom. She immediately started vomiting in the toilet and you simply comforted her while patting her back. "It's alright Maki, get it out hun.." you held her hair back from her usually held up ponytail. You took it down because she said she had a headache. "Okay I think I'm done..." she said slowly getting up. You got up with her and helped her back in bed.

     You were surprised Suma didn't wake up, but then again the medicine you gave her was also supposed to help with sleep. You then figured she would be asleep for a while. So you did your best to help Makio go to sleep and when she did you went back downstairs to check on Hinatsuru. She was awake, but laying her head on one pillow while cuddling the other. "Hey Hinatsuru, you feeling a bit better now ?" She sodded and stated that her body still aches but her headache got a bit better. You were happy that something felt better at-least.

     The others were asleep so you thought you'd just chill with Hinatsuru. You were laying down on the couch with Hinatsuru on your chest. You were scratching her head because she said it was comfortable. A few times she felt nauseous here and there and so you went to go help her but for the most part everything was fine. When Tengen had told he was on his way home from Rengoku's you told him that's great and continued to talk to him for about an hour and a half. When he did get home, Suma had woken up a few minutes before, and Makio had already vom downstairs to lay with you and Hinatsuru.

     "Is everything alright ?" Tengen asked feeling their foreheads. "For the most part, Hinatsuru's fever went down so did her headache. Suma slept for a while getting rest, and Makio is still a little warm but her headache is gone now too.." you said which pleased Tengen. "Great job, butterfly.." he said patting your head. You don't know why, but you felt accomplished when he told you good job on things. But for now, you were more focused on yourself getting sleep and staying with your partners. You started to doze off and when Tengen noticed he took Hinatsuru upstairs to rest and then came back down to tuck you in so you could sleep.

     When you woke up you noticed Hinatsuru being a lot more energetic and you were happy. Suma wasn't hurting as bad either, Makio as well. You figured they should feel better by tomorrow. Tengen was making dinner right now so you just chilled upstairs with your wives. You ended up falling asleep with them for a bit and when Tengen saw he was fighting the urge to wake you guys up for dinner. However, he did and you guys ate and went to do your own things...
