I woke up to my alarm annoyingly ringing *Beep Beep Beep Beep* "Shut up!" I said as I slammed my hand down on it turning it off, I head to my closet to choose my first day as a Mid-Wilshire Detective. I had been a detective for a few years with NYPD but I wanted to start new. I started going through my closet making a mess of my floor. After throwing and tossing all of my clothes onto the ground I finally found an outfit.

I toss the outfit on and make breakfast and Coffee, I make a fruit bowl for breakfast and than head to my car to get to work.
I finally get to the station, i walk in and head to Sergeant Grey's office. I get there and knock, he opens the door "You must be Detective Aurora Rosefield, Correct?" He says with a smile on his face "Yea, I am! I am supper lost and dont know what I'm supposed to be doing today, do you think you can help me out??" I say hoping he gets someone to help me. "Yes, I can introduce you to your partner and she can help you around for today! Detective Lopez, I need you in my office." He says "thank you so much" I say getting a smile and nod in return.
A beautiful woman walk in and sticks her hand out "Hi!! Im detective Angela Lopez and I am your partner!" She says as we shake hands "Nice to meet you! Im Detective Aurora Rosefield!" She informs me that we have to go into role call just for this morning because I am new and the other officers need to meet me. We walk in and stand in the back for a while, there are three rookies in the front, a super pretty girl cop who appears to have a staring problem because she is staring directly at me, theres another rookie who looks as old as the sun who is having a conversation with the other one who I think is Commander Wests son.
Grey walks into the room and says "Alright, Alright everyone settle down, we have a new detective today!" He says and everyone turns around and starts staring at me, I lock eyes with this super-hot T.O he had blonde hair and beautiful eyes, I turned to look at Lopez who was staring at the officer smirking "Alright, Detective if you can come up here and introduce yourself" Grey smiles, I walk up there and start introducing myself "Hello, I am Detective Aurora Rosefield, I used to be a Detective with the NYPD but decided to move to L.A! I have worked U.C in a bunch of cases and have put many drug lords, and Gang leaders behind bars. Also, blondie over there I don't know who you're staring at like you can take me down; I'd like to see you try" I smirk at the cop that I think his name is Bradford.
I walk back to Angela, and we go to our seats "He's cute" I say shrugging my shoulders " Tim- wait TIM BRADFORD?" Angela said excitingly "Shhhh he is gonna hear you!!" I say blushing "Oh don't worry about it imma get yall together" she said, "No need, i got this watch me" I reassure her while walking away smirking "Get it girl" she says.
I go trying to find the girl rookie, I was texting Angela on my phone about Tim when I ran into someone tall and dropped my phone. "Omg I'm so sorry" I say nervously not noticing who it was, "Your good" He says, I look up and realize it was Tim "Never mind it's you. I take my apology back" I say sternly while Angela is watching us "Thats not a way to make friends sweetheart" he says "Well, lucky for me, I don't need or in-fact want friends" I say while giggling, he bends down to look at me, which immediately sends butterflies in my stomach "what if I wanna be something a little... more than friends?" He spoke smirking "Mm really? I might be able to make some arrangements" I say while putting a hand on his chest and talking in a deeper more quieter voice giggling a bit "Oh "maybe" you say" He says quieting his voice to, I look behind him to see his rookie lucy staring at us making confused faces "yeah, maybe i can" I say smirking "I got to get back to Angela but come get me after" I said smirking. I turned away to go back to Angela.
As I walked back to Angela, I winked at her and mouthed "told you "She started laughing and squealing "Omg!! He is totally into you girl" she said excited "I guess we will see later" I said smirking, "THERES A LATER?!" She screams and gets everyone to turn their heads to look at us " Everyone turn back around. Now. " i say everyone following my orders because to be fair I was scary as fuck.
It was around 4:00 pm and we got there at 7:00 am, so it's been about 10 hours in our shift, and we still have two more. I was working on a case of Britany Coffee, missing for 3 days now last seen wearing a Christmas ugly sweater in the middle of June... anyways she was about 16 years old. All of a sudden Angela walk up to me with this other girl and lucy, I turn to look at her "NO FUCKING WAY! CRYSTAL?!" I say excited to see my old colleague "Hello Miss Rose! It's so good to see you!!" She says as I give her a big hug. I turn around to see Lucy acting like she saw a murder. "You good Luce?" I say "Y-Your rose? You're like my idol! Omg omg I can't believe I'm meeting you!!!!" She says unable to control her excitement "Haha yes, yes, it is me" I say while a huge smile is spreading around my face. "Oh, Aurora did you by chance want to go get some drinks after work? Me, Angela, Lucy, and Bailey are going with our boyfriends!" Nyla says, "I don't have a boyfriend" Lucy says laughing "Its ok girl me neither" I tell her while laughing with her. "But yes, I would love to go!" I say again "Alright well we will text you when we get there" Nyla says while her and lucy walk away "You're going to have to cancel your later thing with Tim" she says smirking while looking at me. I punch her playfully in the shoulder "or... I could bring him" I say "Oh dare devil. But sure, go ahead, but just so you know, he likes to put a limit on drinks." Angela makes sure I know, and I don't really care. I mean at least he looks out for people.
I go to find Tim and when I find him, I take him into an interrogation room. "What's up?" He says, "The girls invited me to the bar, their boyfriends are coming to, so do you wanna come with me?" I ask scared he is going to say no. "Yeah" he says staring down at my lips. "More time to spend with you" he says kissing me, moving a bit farther down to my neck. "Not here Tim, there's cameras." I speak. "Alright fine, come on let's go." he says as we go to my car and go to the bar.
we get there, I see that Angela and the rest of the girls are already there. I get out of the car and immediately go where everybody is "Hey girls!" I say excited to get to the group. Everyone besides Angela looks at me shocked. "What's wrong...?" I ask. "Girl Tim? I mean get it I guess; you know he likes to boss you around when you're out." Nyla speaks still in shock. "Haha, yes, I do Angela already told me." I tell Nyla. Lucy is still standing there in shock but manages to get a few words out "I- TIM? My training officer? Oml I'm gonna be such a pain in the ass bugging him about this tomorrow." Lucy says "Alright enough about Tim, I wanna go get drunk" I say. All the girls agree and we go sit down while Angela and Nyla come back with drinks. "Is it to early to say I dont think he is gonna give me a limit, which is good." I say. Everyone looks behind me, I put my hand on my forehead and turn around to see Tim "Yep definitely way to early" Angela says. "I agree, only 5" Tim says "And what if I dont listen to that?" I ask smirking "Try it and find out." He says sternly and walks away "Im gonna try it, get me six after I finish these 5." I say "If you say so" Nyla says. We all are having a good time dancing and me and Angela are dancing together. "Imma go get another shot" I say even though I can barely walk. "I dont think you should Aura. Your to drunk already." Angela says "nooooo i have to break Tims rulesss" I say walking to go get another drink, I get it and walk back to Angela and start drinking. "Your gonna be in for it Aurora." Angela says "Worth every bittttt" I say "If you say so" she says again not trusting that it was going to be worth it. "I have to go to the bathroomm I will be right back" I say as I start walking off to the bathroom when someone grabs my arm and pulls me aside, I couldent see who it was but I was freaking out because it was do dark "I told you only 5" The person says and I immediately know it was Tim. "Im sorryyy but it was worth every bit" I say almost falling down still and stumbling. "Well you tried it, so now you have to find out" He said
