Chapter 33

Hello Loves... just wanting to give you all a heads up on this chapter. *TRIGGER WARNING*: Mentions of sexual assault and descriptive scene of attempted assault. Aside from that, it gets a little spicy, so read with caution. Ok, love you, byeeee!

Jungkook's POV

When I wake up, Tia is no longer next to me, but I can hear Taehyung's deep ass voice from the bathroom along with the sound of water running. I hate that I have to leave them tonight but I admit I'm ready to get more information on the stalker case. I make my way to the bathroom to find Tia relaxing in the bath with Taehyung rubbing her shoulders, water beads trickling down her chest.

"Hey, sleepyhead," Tia says, "Did you sleep well?"

"Hey, Noona... yeah, I did. How long have y'all been up?"

"Not long... maybe half an hour or so," Taehyung answers for both of them.

"Did you ask her?" I'm curious to know what she had to say about Jimin. The way they were looking at each other earlier has me convinced that they felt the same connectedness Taehyung and I felt when we first met Tia. There's got to be something there.

Taehyung chuckles, then answers, "She said he was handsome and sweet."

"That's it?"

"That's it, bro. But, I feel like there's more she wants to share."

"Not y'all talking about me, in front of me, like I'm not here!" Tia can't help but laugh at our antics.

While I'm excited to tease Tia about Jimin, I know that I have to ask her more pertinent questions regarding the lunatic who's been harassing her for weeks.

"Ummm, Tia... I wanted to wait until you were feeling a little better and up to discuss the case. I just have a few questions."

She releases a deep sigh, as if she is already expecting this conversation.

"Yeah, I know. I'm feeling so much better, thank you for being patient with me." There's a brief silence as I'm awaiting further response, eyeing her face for any signs of discomfort. "JK, I promise I'm fine. I was just telling Tae how much better I feel knowing he's locked up and with you both here, I feel safer than I've felt in a while."

I take a seat on the tiled floor next to the tub, now at eye level with Tia, and reach over into the water to grab her hand.

"Let me know if you want me to stop?"

Tia nods as I begin my questioning. Though this isn't an interrogation, any information will help build the case.

"Have you ever met him before? Tony?"

"I thought he looked familiar but I couldn't place where I've seen him before."

"Does the name Tony Micheals ring a bell at all?"

"Tony Micheals... Tony Micheals... Tony Micheals..." Tia repeats, trying to jar any memory she may have, but instead, ends up drawing a blank. With my free hand, I take my phone from my pocket, and after unlocking it, I shuffle for just a moment before showing her my screen. There's a picture of a man she seems to have definitely seen before.

"That's Anthony! Anthony Mitchell!"

With that discovery, I shoot a quick text to one of the officers on the case before continuing, "Where do you know this man from?"

"He was a client of mine when I first started practicing. I had to terminate the relationship because he'd made some strange comments that made me feel uneasy. He was a mandated client, meaning the courts required he come to therapy after being released from prison for sexually assaulting his neighbor. He would tell me what he could do and what he wanted to do to me."
