Winter's P.O.V.

"Are you ok Autumn? You've been so... What's the word... Off... I guess, today. Never mind all this month!" Autumn ha been dozing off during every single mission we went on. At lunch, she would end up staring at her food instead of eating it. Something was wrong. She was always tired. If this kept up, I would have a nervous breakdown!

"Whu? Oh. I'm good." Autumn muttered and looked back down at her lunch. We were eating in the Safari Zone today, since the weather was so nice today.

I couldn't take this any longer, "No." I said sternly.

Autumn cast me a sideways glance, "No what?"

I shook my head, "No. I'm not excepting that as an answer. You are going to tell me what's wrong. Now." I raised my voice a bit, but not that much.

However, it was enough to make her squeak when she spoke, "I'm fine. Really!" She was staring down still.

I grabbed her chin and forced her to look at me. Her eyes showed of exhaustion, like she hadn't slept in a while.

"What. Is. Wrong." I said with worry.

Autumn just sighed and glanced away a bit, "How many times do I have to tell you I'm fine?"

Panic/Fear/Worry pricked at my heart. What in the name of Kyurm was wrong with her? Then something occurred to me when she suddenly sneezed.

"Are you sick Autumn? Is that the problem? I can ask for time off to take care of you. The flu is going around and-"

"No! I'm fine!" Autumn stated quickly.

I shook my head, "No. That's it. I'm tired of this. I'm getting you to a doctor. Then, maybe, I'll find out what's wrong."

"Jon. I'm really fine! I don't need this." Autumn sighed.

I shook my head, "No. You're going to get checked out. If there IS something wrong, then the doc can fix it. If not, then no harm done."

I had ended up carrying Autumn here, because she had refused to get off the ground. Autumn had insisted she was fine, but that's all she ever said when I asked if she was ok.

Autumn sighed again, "Fine. Let's get this over with..."

I nodded and we enters the office. The pink haired secretary looked up and smiled, "Hello. What can I help you with this afternoon?" She asked.

"My partner here has been feeling badly lately. Can I have her checked out?" I gestured to Autumn.

The secretary nodded, "Sure. Right this way please." She led us through the hall to a room, "The doctor will be here in a few minutes." And she closes the door, leaving me and Autumn in the room alone in the room. We sat on the bench next to each other.

I put an arm around her, only for her to shrug it off. That hurt. It was just a gesture of friendship, so she didn't need to be so mean about it... Yet she leaned against me and laid her head in my shoulder.

I was just about to speak, but I noticed that she looked more tired than most days. Her eyes were drooping, and her breath was labored.

Luckily, the doctor came in and closed the door behind her a few moments later. It was the Doctor who had taken care of me when I was sick before I became a ranger.

"Hello Winter. How are you?" She asked.

I sighed, "I'm fine. But my friend Autumn is feeling badly."

"I'm fine Winter, re-" her raspy voice was cut off by coughing. I rubbed her back, trying to help as much as I could. But I wasn't a Chancey. There wasn't much I could do.

"She has the flu. But she should recover from it within a week as long as she rests." The doctor said.

I thanked the doctor and led Autumn out of the room, "Don't worry Autumn. I'll help you through this. I've already called my dad and he said that you can stay at my place until you recover."

We go outside and my father picks us up.

And I want more than anything for Autumn to feel better. I hate seeing her like this
