Abby's P.O.V.

I sat up and rubbed the sleep out if my eyes. Autumn was sneaking out if the room quietly, obviously trying to leave here unnoticed.

I slipped out if bed quietly, tiptoeing so Autumn wouldn't find me following her.

...

I followed her out of the base, and into the city. Was she just coming out to get some air?

But that didn't seem to be Autumn's intention.

She kept walking in the direction of the Safari Zone. I followed a safe distance away from her.

I had to wait a bit after she entered the building and then I went in.

Autumn was no where to be seen inside, so I walked up to Jane, "Hey Jane. Has Autumn come through here tonight?"

Jane looks up from her computer, "Yes she did. Just a few moments ago."

I pull one of those innocent smiles, "Thanks Jane. And if she comes back through here, don't tell her that I was here." And I entered the Safari Zone.

When I was inside, I found two sets of fresh prints. One set had the shape of a narrow bare foot. That was probably Autumn. She doesn't seem to like shoes.

But the other set was boot prints. And they looked like the heavy duty kind of boots too.

I knelt down, taking a closer look at the boot tracks. Yep. These were the heavy duty kind. Whoever made these must have work on dangerous terrain.

Then my partner Pokemon, Zoura, jumped out of my bag and sniffed at the tracks. Then it backed away and growled. Stiff anger was in her muscles and fearing memories shown in her eyes.

I picked her up in my arms, "Are you ok Zoura?" I asked.

She shook her head, "No! He came back! Those memories!" Then she shuttered, snuggling closer to me.

I got a little closer and sniffed as well.

Pine Trees.

That scent was strong in the print...

But one other scent was harder to destinguish...

...

The metallic tang if the International Pokemon Hunter scent!

A Pokemon Hunter had gotten into the Safari Zone! My first instinct is to pull out my Pokegear and report this.

And I almost do until it hits me.

Reporting this may put Autumn in danger!

If this hunter had Autumn held captive, then alerting the Ranger Association would put Autumn in a dangerous position.

I would have to rescue her myself.

I stood up and attached my Junior Ranger Styler to my wrist, and Zoura climbed on top of my head. We then started following the footprints...

...

...

"Stop it!" I hear someone yell and I started running towards the sound.

That was Autumn's voice!

I kept on running! I soon come across a metal chain link fence. The footprints of Autumn have disappeared after a while, leaving only the hunter tracks.

Something must of happened to Autumn!

I follow the tracks and find a hole in the fence. I slip through easily (Since I'm small for my age) and find a beach.
