A Hunting Ranger (Pokemon Fanfiction) {Pokemon Watty 2013}

Chapter 14

"Are you ok Autumn? You seem a little... off... today." Winter asked.

I looked over to him, "I'm fine. I just didn't sleep well last night." I wasn't able to sleep after Jon had woken me up last night.

Winter just sighed, "Ok. What ever you say. Now come on. We have to go back to base."

The Ranger Assotioation had decided to station Winter at my base so we could be Ranger Partners. Winter was happy about it, and I really didn't care. But I just hope that he won't find me sneaking out tonight.

The last of the voices have died down, and I sigh. I slip out of bed, and put on my coat. Then I slip out the door to the Junior Ranger Room as quietly as I can. If I'm caught, I would have to come up with some lame excuss (Which I suck at) and I would be dragged back to my bed and I wouldn't be able to see Jon tonight!

But slipping out of the base is easier than I thought. No one noticed me and stopped me, and I am able to slip into the night air of the city.

TimeTravel City is one of the biggest Citys in the Malonia Region. The Skyscrapers are HUGE! Though we are very eco-friendly. We run our buildings on solar power, and our city guards the Origenal Safari Zone. We are the only way in, and that keeps poachers out.

Anyhow, I walk into the Safari Zone Entrence Building and I flash my Ranger I.D.

The Zone Keeper, Jane, smiles, "Welcome back Autumn!"

I smile back, "Thanks Jane." And I enter the Safari Zone.

I look around once I'm inside the zone and see Jon leaning against a tree with a toothpick sticking out of his mouth, "Hey sweetheart. What's up?" he grinned.

I can't help but smile softly, "I'm good, now that I'm here with you."

He walked up to me and hugged me close, "Well of course you are."

I giggled happily, snuggling in closer to him as we stood there. He smelled of the pine forests, and it weaved itself into my mind, easily memorizing it. The scent also had a bit of a metalic tang to it for some reason, but I didn't mind. We stood there for a moment...

"Come on. I have something to show you." Jon whispeded, reluctently letting me go. He took my hand and led me through the zone. We passed through the swamp section, the desert section, and as soon as we were into the forest section, we took a detour into the trees.

Ok this was WAY off the main path! The walk was bumpy and, I'm not a lier so I'm gonna tell you, I almost fell a couple of times. It got to the point where Jon thought it would be a good idea to pick me up bridal style!

I couldn't help but squeak in suprise.

Jon laughed, "Upsy daisy!" I couldn't help but grin at his childness.

...

Went we got to the edge of the Safari Zone, he held me a little closer, "Hold on tight!" He ran to the left quickly and kept running untill we found a small gap in the fence. Not big enough for an adult, but a ten year old like myself or a twelve year old like Jon could easily crawl through (Yes, he is two years older than me. I found that out in one of our training sessions).

Anyhow...

Jon lets me back on my feet and he crawls through the hole. When he was through he whispered, "Crawl through."

I nod and crawl through the hole... well... almost...

I am stopped when I get stuck. My waist is stuck in the metal fencing. Ugg!

I look up at Jon, who is looking down at me while trying not to smile, but I can see the grin pulling at his lips.

I scowl, "I know what you're thinking. But this in nether Ironic or Funny."

Jon snickers a bit, then sighs to relax himself, "Don't worry Autumn. I'll get you out of there. The trick is to suck in your gut and wiggle through. It may scratch you up the first couple times, but with experiance, it becomes easier."

I nod and squeaze my stomach inward, wiggling a bit, but I wasn't getting any farther.

I looked back to Jon, "Jon! A little help here."

Then Jon gets this weird grin on his face, "Then say it."

I glare at his aggnorance, knowing what he wants me to say, "Jon. Help me out. You got me in here, now you're gonna help me out."

Jon crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head, "Say it first."

"No."

"Say it."

"No."

"Say it." Jon kneels infront of me and starts to reach for my neck, "Or do I need to make you?" His grin was getting slier.

I gasped, "You wouldn't dare!"

Then he started tickling my neck and I was laughing uncontrolablly, "Stop It!" I laughed.

Jon's grin grew bigger, "Say it then!"

"Fine! I'll say it!" I said to the best of my ability.

Jon stopped tickling me and made me look at him, "Say it."

I sighed, "You are a Hot Hot guy."

"And?"

Sheesh! How much did Jon want me to say?!

"And I am, now and forever, always your girl." I continued.

Jon's grin turned into a sweet smile, "Yes you are." Then he took my shoulders and he pulled me through the fence.

Once I brushed myself off, I was able to see where Jon had taken me.

It was a beach. The sand was white, the waters were clear (I could see the many water Pokemon swimming in there in beautiful colors), and the sky was clear.

Than beautiful sky.

The sky was filled with stars, and the full moon cast over the waves, sending silver ripples over the water. The view was breathtaking!

Jon looked over to me and smiled, "You like it? I found it on one of my missions. I never tell anyone about it. It was my little secret, but now it's OUR little secret. This is where we meet from now on, ok?"

I hug Jon, "Of course. And I will keep this place a secret for you
