EP03

The next day...
{Nevaeh's POV}

I woke up from my slumber and started my morning. Pampered myself today because I really don't have anything on my schedule for today. I ate some breakfast and settled down. I scrolled through my emails and got a few text messages. I replied to them all and just sat there. My boredom was then interrupted by a call. It was a FaceTime call from My besties Nari, London and Hoyeon.
(In that order)

"Omg it's Nevaehhhhh!" Nari screams into the mic. We all laughed. "Hey y'all,.." I smiled. "How's New York girly?" Hoyeon asked. "Ah it's great guys..." I smiled. "Yeah we know girl! WE SEE YOU AHHH" London says all hyped sticking her tongue out. I love my friends, they're like my biggest hype mans. Well hype girls ha. "Yea congrats on being apart of Line Entertainment Nevaeh!" Said Hoyeon. "Yes yes you guys saw the pictures..." "you look good girllll!!" Nari said smiling.

"Well how's New York besides all the great work you've been doing?" Hoyeon asked. I just remember about my conversation with that Alec guy. I totally forgot about it after what happened last night. "Yea girl you met anyone yet?" Nari said with a questionable look on her face. "Nari!" The rest of the girls said. "Of course you'll ask about dating ohh my gahhh" Hoyeon said annoyed. "For real.." London shook her head. "WHATTT I'm sorry,..no but for real...Nevaeh anyone?..." she looked at me side ways through the screen. I laughed and shook my head.

"I can't with you Nari. But yes I met someone..." I trailed of looking away from the phone. All I heard was screams on the phone and bunch of questions thrown at me. "AHHHHH OK OK WHO IS HE?! IS HE WORTH YOUR TIME?? IS HE FINE AS HELL? DO HE GOT MONEY?!" Nari questioned last. "This girl.." London laughs. "I met him at the library yesterday,his name is Alec and we bonded over a Sci-fi series that I like." I smiled. "The one with the Ghost?" Nari questioned. We all laughed. "It's really good Nari if you actually read it.." Hoyeon says defending the book. "Thank you Hoyeon!" I agreed with her. "Girl I don't know?" Nari says not caring. We laughed and continued our conversation.

"Ok so how does this Alec man look?" London asked. "Tall...he's white..or probably European can't tell...hazel eyes...brown hair....deep voice...he looked pretty mysterious though..." I smiled to myself. "Oouuuuu ok ok..". "Damn someone crushing hard already, sis barley even know the man." "HA Nevaeh oh my gahhhh". They all said as I kept smiling to myself. Do I really like this man? London is right I barely knew him. "Do you want to even start dating girl?" Says London. "Yeah you just started your career, do you think it'll affect your flow?" Hoyeon asked. "Ah y'all please if she wants sum DICK let her get sum DICK!" Nari says all defensive. We laughed and laughed after what she said.

"Well I don't know, I just met him so...oh but something weird happened later that day.." they all looked at the camera alerted by my sentence. "I felt like someone was following me..." they all gasped. "Was it him?!" . "On second thought the dick can wait..." "oh gosh.." I then continued. "Well no I don't think so. After that someone else popped up and started beating up the person that was following me, my black ass OBVIOUSLY didn't stay to look at what was happening so i dipped." They all looked in shocked and glad that I'm ok and safe. "Did anything else happen?" London asked. "I looked out of my window that I assume was the person that was beating up the other person, was like dragging the other body to their car,threw them in the back of their vehicle and left.." they all gasped. "I knew New York was built different..." Nari says and we all laughed.

"Well at least it wasn't that Alec guy..." Hoyeon says. "That's the problem I feel like it was but...I don't know ..."

Alec's POV

I had a meeting today with someone...who's lower than me. They want to make a business proposal but, I'm planning on taking everything and I mean everything from them. We sat in the meeting room with all of his "important" employees to help him with this proposal. It was silent. He looked nervous as my 4 big guards stood behind me. I smirked. He thinks I don't know what his plan is... he thinks I'll suck up to him easily with this proposal. But no... anyone who betrays my family doesn't get a second chance.

"So Alec? How's uh...everything." The man cleared his throat and nervously smiled my way. I scoffed and look out the window. We're on the top level of this building. I'm trying so hard not go off on this guy and throw him out of this window. "Everything's great John...until I get a call about me coming here.." I glared at him. He looks back and laughs. "Sorry for the inconvenience,..I know  you're a busy man...ha...uh" I looked at him as my eyebrows scrunched up together. "What do you mean by that?" I questioned.  Seems like he knows my life better than I do. He avoided the question and continued on with what he was going to say. "Uh...ha ok. I called you in today because I wanted to make a proposal for a future collaboration together...if possible..." I looked at him and tilted my head. Collaboration? Is he serious right now?

"And that is?" I leaned in on the table and stared him down. "I wanted to open up a pub for...customers who visit you know.." he smiled. I looked at him waiting for him to say more about his shitty project. "You can visit too obviously... and uh I wondering if you can put in 30% of you-" I cut him off immediately. "Of what? Interest? Didn't you steal enough money from me already?" I questioned. He looks confused and laughs nervously. "What do you mean by that sir...I would nev-" I cut him off again. "No no no, don't give me that shit John! You think I'd be quick to forgive you after what you did to my father?!" I was outraged. He's one of the guys that almost fucked over my fathers life.

He did the same thing that he's doing now to my father. Asked for an interest, my father did it because he was his friend. He ended up taking all my fathers money, never paying him back and threw him under the bus for my father's crimes. Now My father is now in jail for life. I glared at the man who's now acting dumb in front of me. I walked up to him looked at him. "Don't ever call me or anyone in my family ever...or I'll end you". I walked out and my guards followed. As I walked out I hear him speak out. "You won't dare lay a finger on me! I'll have you locked behind bars. People will know that I'm Missing." I stoped and turned around. I chuckled and laughed at him. "That's what you believe John? You think everyone's on your side?" He froze. I smiled and walked away and out of the building.

I get in my car and drove away. I then get a call from my assistant. "Speak." "Mr.Jovanovic, Idris is inviting you to come out tonight for his birthday bash. Are you accepting?". I didn't feel like doing anything after that. But I honestly don't mind getting fucked up after all of that. "Tell him to keep a spot open for me for poker." I smirked and hung up. Then I stared to have the thought of Nevaeh suddenly in my head. I wonder if I'll see her again...
