EP18

Nevaeh's POV
These past few weeks has been great. Alec's parents have been really sweet and caring. So far with work, I've done 4 shows walking for big names. It's going great. I'm not as distracted because Alec has been "busy" with work. I really miss him...him and his father been out for quite a while lately. I see his dad but rarely see Alec...it worries me. I sat in his mother's Eden living room while looking out the window. I just got off the phone with my mom telling her about how it is over here.

"Want some fruit?" Alec's mom asks me. I look her way and smile. "Ah thank you! Yes please.." I sat up and grabbed a piece. "Just got it out of my garden, I washed them up of course ha..." she smiled and sat down. "Do you miss your mother?" She asked while eating a fruit. I looked down and smiled. "Yes I do...I plan on seeing her but I don't know yet...Alec said it's not safe right now...well he's been saying that for a while now..." I trailed off looking out the window again. She sighed and sat back. "I know you must be frustrated...I am too...I mean I feel like whatever is happening out there has nothing to do with them and their business...but, I guess they're trying to just protect it with a couple of help...that's all...". I looked back her way and smiled. She sat up and looked at me. "Everything is fine Nevaeh...Alec isn't ignoring you...he's just focused...that's all." She smiled.

Alec's POV
A few weeks back...

It was morning, I looked over to Nevaeh who was sound asleep, naked under the covers. I held her close and kissed her forehead. She woke up and looked at me. "Mmh good morning handsome...". She giggled as she stretched. We both sat up. The blanket that covered her falls down. She quickly grabs it to cover up. "Oh stop it...I've seen everything by now haven't I?" I said as I got close to her ear, nibbling on it as she giggles. "Ahhhh Aleccc..!" She got up from the bed with the covers into the bathroom. I followed. We were in the bathroom just enjoying each others time in the nude. To much of a good time we didn't hear the door open. "Alec! Oh my gosh I'm sorry!" The door slams shut after my father barged in here. Thank God he didn't see Nevaeh.

"What is it dad?!" . "We gotta head out...that meeting you set up...the bug is coming." With that he walks away from the door. I looked over to Nevaeh who's looking up at me from the shower smiling. "What happened sweetheart?" I smiled back confused. "I'm just glad I'm in the shower, i literally just pee myself ha..." I chuckled and got ready. As I was cleaned up dressed and ready to go. Nevaeh comes over to me as I fix my tie. "You need help?" She asked as she stood in-front of me. I smiled and let go of the tie. She smiles and fixes it up for me. "I know how to tie a tie...I just wanted to know if you could." I smirked looking down at her. "Oh stop it...complete lies. You just want me to be here.." she giggled. Once she finished. I put on my coat. She walks back to bathroom to fix up her makeup.

I leaned on the door frame admiring her. She looks over to me and smiles. "Yes?.." she says as she continues. "What? I can't look at what's mine?". Wrapping my arms around her startles her. I leaned down to her level, breathing against her ear. My hands roamed over her body. I stare her down in the mirror. She applied her lipgloss seductively while looking back at me through the mirror. "ALEC LETS GO!" I groaned at the sound of my father calling me. "You don't wanna be late babe, go." Nevaeh says while cleaning up her area. I stood up and sighed. She stood up and turned around looking up at me. I smirked looking back. Pulled her into a hug and she hugged back. "I promise to protect you with my life..." I whispered. "What was that?" She asked while still holding onto me. I sighed. "Nothing..I'll see you soon doll face." With that i kissed her forehead and walked out.

As I went downstairs I was greeted by my mother. I hugged her. "Please be safe...ok?" She says cupping my face. "I will mom.". As I walked out some of the guards followed. I hoped in the back with my father and we rolled out. "Took you long enough...we got shit to do.." he sighed and lit up his cigarette. "Yea I know...also try not to trip when you see him...this is strictly discussions...we only act if something's up in this meeting." I explained. "Yea Yea Yea..." he says as smoke blows out.

That same day..
Eden's POV
I waited till Nevaeh headed out for work. Once she left, I got in my car and headed out. Once I made it to my location I parked and walked up to the run down mansion.

"Please be ok.." I said to myself. I walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. I was met with an old lady. "Oh Eden! Hello how are you?" She says to me. I smiled awkwardly. "Oh I'm good...is she here? I wanted to visit...but usually she doesn't let anyone in...this is an emergency." She read the worried look on my face. She nods her head and lets me in. I walked in the home and saw pictures of that basterd everywhere. Flowers from his funeral had dust and webs all over. I sighed seeing a young pic of Alec and Leo. I began to cry a bit but pulled myself together once I heard footsteps. It was the lady. "She said you may come up...come come" she motioned me to follow her. I followed her up the long steps and down the hall to the master bedroom. There was more pictures of him. But they had cuts on them. They were ruined with a huge slits in them. The flowers were smashed on the ground. The lady was in the middle of cleaning it up. I turned around and saw her. She sat there in the same dress I last seen her. Just staring out the window. My heart aches for her.

"Hyeri..." tears fell down my face. She slowly turned my way and struggled to smile. I walked over to her and hugged her. She barely hugged back. "I thought he was gone..." she speaks faintly. Tears rolls down her face. I pull away looking at her. She looked weak. "Who told you..." I asked. "L-Leo...he came to me in pain...he went to visit him...I thought he was joking...I yelled at him for joking around like that...but he gave me proof. He snuck a photo of him in his new home..." Hyeri gritted her teeth with tears flowing down her face. She stood up fast causing me to fall a bit. She grabbed a family photo and through it out the window. "왜?! 씹할! ( why?! fuck! ) ". She yelled in Korean. She sobbed and fell to the floor. Her maids ran to her aide. "I've been lied to...LIED..." she cry's out onto the lady's arms.

She moves from their grasp and turns towards me. She crawled my way still sobbing. I was frightened. I've never seen her this way. She clung onto me sobbing softly in my arms. I slowly patted her back. "I'm sorry..." I said softly. She's completely broken. She thought the love of her life was gone...she was hurt by it...only to find out years later that he's alive and well.
