She walks into the room, her entrance accompanied by a delighted smile as she takes in the sight before her. The boys—Y/n, Dean, Sam, and Castiel—all decked out in varying shades of pink, capture her attention immediately. Her grin widens as she realizes they've all embraced the whimsical theme she suggested, and she can't help but feel a rush of warmth at their camaraderie.

"Wow, you all look so cute?" she playfully comments, her eyes dancing with amusement. It's heartwarming to see them all participating in her idea.
Dean's response is characteristically gruff, his arms crossed as he pretends to be uninterested.

"I can't believe I agreed to wear this."
Sam chuckles, giving Dean a knowing look before turning to her with a sincere smile. "Hey, as long as you're having a good time, that's all that matters."
Her heart swells at Sam's considerate words. It's clear that he's genuinely invested in making sure she enjoys the outing, regardless of the movie choice. She gives him a grateful nod, her smile reflecting her appreciation.

Castiel, standing slightly apart from the others, looks intrigued. "I find the concept of this movie intriguing. Exploring the human experience through entertainment can be enlightening."
Y/n smiles at Castiel, appreciating his open-mindedness. "I think you'll find it interesting, Cas. Let's see what Barbie's world has to offer."

With everyone dressed and ready, they make their way to the movie theater. The journey is accompanied by light banter, jokes, and laughter as they discuss the upcoming film and their thoughts on it. Y/n finds herself caught between Sam and Dean, the banter between the two brothers lighthearted and familiar.

As they enter the bustling theater lobby, the scent of popcorn fills the air, and colorful movie posters adorn the walls. Y/n's excitement grows as they order a large bucket of popcorn to share and pick out their drinks.
Settling into their seats as the lights dim, Y/n finds herself sitting next to Dean, who maintains his feigned disinterest in the movie. The trailers start, and they enjoy guessing the plots of upcoming films and sharing their opinions on them.

When the opening scene of Barbie's world appears on the screen, the room fills with vibrant colors and catchy music. Y/n can't help but smile at Castiel's rapt attention to the screen, his analytical mind seemingly engrossed in the cinematic experience

In the movie the character Gloria gave a monologue to the Barbies "It is literally impossible to be a woman. You are so beautiful, and so smart, and it kills me that you don't think you're good enough. Like, we have to always be extraordinary, but somehow we're always doing it wrong."
Y/n felt her heart tug as Gloria's voice echoed through the theater, her eyes widening at the raw emotion in the character's voice.

"You have to be thin, but not too thin. And you can never say you want to be thin. You have to say you want to be healthy, but also you have to be thin. You have to have money, but you can't ask for money because that's crass. You have to be a boss, but you can't be mean. You have to lead, but you can't squash other people's ideas. You're supposed to love being a mother, but don't talk about your kids all the damn time. You have to be a career woman but also always be looking out for other people." As Gloria's monologue continued, Y/n's grip on the armrest of her seat tightened. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears, and her breath caught in her throat as the words hit home, resonating with her on a profound level.

"You have to answer for men's bad behavior, which is insane, but if you point that out, you're accused of complaining. You're supposed to stay pretty for men, but not so pretty that you tempt them too much or that you threaten other women because you're supposed to be a part of the sisterhood.
But always stand out and always be grateful. But never forget that the system is rigged. So find a way to acknowledge that but also always be grateful.
You have to never get old, never be rude, never show off, never be selfish, never fall down, never fail, never show fear, never get out of line. It's too hard!" Y/n bit her lip, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to spill over, but the weight of the words was too much for her to contain.

"It's too contradictory and nobody gives you a medal or says thank you! And it turns out in fact that not only are you doing everything wrong, but also everything is your fault.
I'm just so tired of watching myself and every single other woman tie herself into knots so that people will like us. And if all of that is also true for a doll just representing women, then I don't even know."  Y/n's breath hitched once more, as her efforts to stifle her sobs became futile.

As the movie's powerful monologue came to an end, Y/n's emotions were a storm of recognition and empathy. The theater's darkness felt like a sanctuary, allowing her to process the weight of Gloria's words without feeling exposed. She wiped a tear from her cheek, her heart heavy yet somehow lighter from the shared experience on screen.
The scene transitioned, and the story continued to unfold. Y/n's thoughts were a whirlwind, a mixture of her own experiences and the character's emotional journey. The intricacies of being a woman—striving to meet unattainable standards, juggling conflicting expectations, and feeling the weight of societal pressures—had rarely been so vividly and rawly portrayed.

As the credits began to roll and the screen illuminated the theater once more, Y/n felt a mix of emotions settle over her. The movie had left an indelible mark, resonating with her on a deeply personal level. As they live the cinema, the guys asked her if she liked the movie, Y/n's voice wavered slightly as she nodded. "Yes, I did."

But as soon as the words left her lips, tears began to well up in her eyes once more, her emotions bubbling over. She couldn't hold them back any longer. The guys didn't say a word; instead, they gave her the space she needed, their silent solidarity a comforting presence.
Y/n turned to Castiel, her emotions spilling over as she reached out and hugged him tightly. Her sobs were heavy and heartfelt, a release of the emotions that had built up throughout the movie. Castiel's arms wrapped around her, his embrace steady and comforting, offering a safe haven amid the storm of feelings.
