Chapter 1- Muddle Mind

Dayeol stared at the invitation that was handed out to him by soyeong. They were at a beautiful café in Busan. A nature themed café found near the police station that dayeol was working in. Maybe because it was the start of summer today it seemed extra special. A beautiful song started playing which screamed summer vibes. He looked up to see the girl who was brightly smiling at him. Memories from school days started flowing. He smiled. The smile took soyeong by surprise. She folded her arms and leaned onto the table. She looked straight into his eyes.

"You know it's been a while I saw you smiling like this" soyeong said, then suddenly the smile dayeol had slowly faded away. Soyeong felt a painful sting seeing him like this. "Dayeol you still haven't moved on from him have you" she said with serious expression on her face. Dayeol did not say anything and looked down staring at his drink and back at soyeong.

Soyeong took a deep sigh and got up from her chair." I must hurry up and meet my wedding planner, so I must go now. You better come to my wedding dayeol, you absolutely cannot ditch this like you ditch every school get togethers we had ok, if you do not come for this, I will never talk to you ok. If you do not it will be the end of our friendship"

Soyeong looked sad even though she was trying to look angry.

When dayeol invited for something like this he puts it on work, and nobody bothers to question ever because they know how it could be hard for dayeol to meet up with the nature of his work. But this time he knew he did not have any choice but go to this wedding " Soyeong came all the way to Busan to give me this invitation." He could not do that to soyeong on her special day. Dayeol read the wedding invitation. The wedding was to be in a luxury villa in Jeju. The guests are supposed to arrive one or two days early prior to the wedding so they can make sure everything is going according to plan. The event will go on for two days. The wedding and a Pool party.

Now he was alone in a cafe with a muddle mind. The day that dayeol left taehyun it broke his heart into million pieces. The words that came out of his mouth that day he had to say it even if he knew it could crush taehyun. Dayeol knew he had to do that for him and for taehyun. Dayeol wanted taehyun to understand what he was feeling and try to understand them. Even if it does not work out between him and taehyun all dayeol wished was when taehyun ever falls in love again he would exactly know how he feels towards them. And so Dayeol left Seoul to Busan so he could start fresh, but truth was it is because of taehyun. Still his heart would not let him move on from him. He was not sure what to do because sayeon was right.
