Chapter 6 - sweet reunion

Taehyun had dumped all the clothes he brought on the bed. He wanted to look good in front of certain someone. It was sunny outside compared to what it was in the morning, so he wanted to wear something suitable for the weather. He picked a floral printed button up shirt to pair it up with black color shorts. He looked at the mirror worried whether he looked good in it. He looked at the other clothes he brought. He started contemplating whether he should wear something entirely different from this. He thought he should send a picture to ye beom to see what he thinks about his outfit. Ye beom works in the fashion industry so he has an eye for the best.

On the other hand, ye beom was mingling with the crowd in the dining hall. His phone kept on ringing. He looked at the phone to see it was taehyun bombarding him with text messages. He looked annoyed this time because he was on his way to talk to a cute guy, he had his eyes on. But even if he was annoyed his friend comes first. He opened the messaging app to his surprise to see pictures of taehyun from different angles.

"Wah, my friend has really changed" he thought while putting hand on his mouth, being all dramatic. He knew why he must have suddenly sent the pictures to him like this. He had a big smile on his face.

"Cute brat"

Without taking more time Ye beom sent a reply right away and got back to his own business.

Taehyun looked at the time and it was already past twelve, phasing around the room waiting for a reply from Ye beom when suddenly message popped up.

"Approved."

He was happy about his outfit now. Taehyun hurriedly put his phone in his back pocket and locked the door. He was excited to see dayeol. He waited outside the building excitedly like a puppy waiting for his owner. He really wanted to wait outside before dayeol come out so he could walk with him to the dining hall.

Five minutes had already gone by and there was no sign of dayeol. That is when taehyun phone started ringing. It was Ye beom.

"Ya, cha taehyun what are you doing?"

"Dayeol is already here."

He cut the call. Started sprinting towards the dining hall. The people who were working on the lights for the wedding tomorrow wondered why this man was running so fast. He looked excited. He could not wait to see dayeol.

The first thing, he did was to look around the hall for dayeol. He was completely out of breath. He did not care about it at all. His school friends kept coming towards him wanting to talk to him, but his mind was on dayeol. And then he saw him. Everything around him slowed down. Dayeol seemed to be in middle of conversation with so yeong and another guy who was her groom.

He greeted his friends and made his way to dayeol. Dayeol got surprised seeing taehyun right next him suddenly.

"We were wondering where you were?"

"This is Jin young"

Jin young extended his hand towards taehyun.

"Nice to meet you."

"So yeong has said a lot about you."

"Yeah, I have heard a lot about you too."

Then suddenly so yeong mother waved at so yeong to come near them so they will come and talk to her friends.

"Oh, my mom is call us again, we will talk to you guys later."

"It was nice meeting you two" Jin young said, and both left.

There was only dayeol and taehyun now. Dayeol looked at the empty round table. He took a seat where his name written on a name tag and taehyun quickly took a seat next to him because his name tag was next to his. It made taehyun beyond happy.

"Why did you leave me dayeol" he leaned in and asked.

Dayeol looked at him when he said that. He was pouting. He was pouting at dayeol to make him feel bad. Taehyun leaned in again and spoke.

"You can give me a kiss to make me feel better."

Dayeol turned into tomato. Taehyun loved the reaction coming from dayeol. Dayeol tried to busy himself by trying to find ye beom in the crowd so he could avoid taehyun gaze on him. When suddenly someone unexpected took the seat in front of dayeol.

"Min jung"

Taehyun's smile dropped.

Dayeol looked shocked.

Min jung smiled brightly at dayeol. It had been so long since they saw each other. Dayeol lost touch with him after entering the police academy. Dayeol wanted to say something, but he was just too surprised to say anything.

"Hey" he lifted his right hand up as if he were legally bound to oblige.

"What are you doing here?" dayeol asked looking overly excited.

"I am one of jin young's childhood friends."

"Small world huh?" min jung said.

"It truly is" they both smiled at the same time.

While the sweet reunion was going on with dayeol and min jung, Taehyun was burning up. He did not like him in the past and he does not like him in the present. He wondered why he had to show up here out of all the days.

"I guess you two are really closer friends now?"

What min jung said got taehyun's full attention

Dayeol was drinking sip of water from his glass when min jung asked dayeol and taehyun this question.

"Yeah, we are really close friends, some say it's more than that."

Dayeol at once spat the water he was drinking. He got a sudden coughing fit. It did not stop. Everyone started looking. Taehyun got up and started patting dayeol's back. Min jung got up and gave dayeol his cup to drink water. Finally, after a minute dayeol calmed down.

Taehyun and Min jung sat down and looked at dayeol worriedly.

"Are you okay?" both asked at the same time. Taehyun glared at min jung but min jung was clueless.

"Yeah, I am fine."

Ye beom came out of nowhere when he heard what happened to dayeol.

"Dayeol are you okay?"

"Yeah, I am fine."

Ye beom looked at the new face at the table.

"You look familiar."

"I went to the same school and was at the archery club with dayeol."

"Oh, that's why."

Ye beom name tag was on the table so he took a seat next to taehyun. Afterwards min jung, dayeol and ye beom kept talking nonstop laughing catching up with stuff after years. Taehyun just smiled sipping water looking annoyed.

Then the bride and the groom showed up in front of everyone. They had changed into different clothes. They looked good together. The couple sat at a table that was exclusively for them.

Then the food arrived one by one. There were an enormous number of waiters. They placed one dish at a time on every table. The food was good. Most kept on eating without leaving any leftovers.

Once it was over everyone got up from their seat to go to the main hall or walk around the villa. Min jung looked around when everyone was making a move.

"Dayeol, do you want to go for walk?"

Dayeol looked surprised when min jung said that. But he gladly said yes. Both got up from the table. When taehyun suddenly got up after them.

"Can I also tag along?"

Dayeol looked at taehyun wondering what he was up to.
