Bang Chan - Book of Memories

(I'm back eeeeee. Sorry for the very long wait, I didn't expect to have so much to do after summer break. I'm starting school now again but this time I will have no time to write there (I will obviously try to squeeze a few minutes in, but it won't be a lot.) Therefore I'll have to write at home which I'm not used to, so bare with my slow updates lmao. Will do my best though <3)

Intro: People have been trapped in a book where The Author chooses how they live. The Author gets bored of Chan and decides to kill him. Chan pleads to The Author to spare him, which The Author then agrees to, but on one condition. He must never speak to his girlfriend Y/N anymore, or The Author will kill both him and Y/N.

You walked to class like your normal programmed self would. Everything seemed normal until you tried to hug your boyfriend Chan.

"Everything alright?" You asked, as he pulled away.

He just stood there in silence, looking straight ahead.

You called his name out again, but he just walked away. You decided to ignore it and continued to your class.

-A few school hours later-

Chan would usually pick you up after school, but he was nowhere to be seen, so you just decided to walk home. After a while it started raining. This was not a good thing, as you were programmed to forget your umbrella. Chan would usually have one on him just in case, but he wasn't here now.

Slowly you made your way through the rain to your house. You would normally have been home about 20 minutes ago, so you tried to hurry up.

Suddenly you made it to a 2-way path. You were used to getting driven home, so you never got to cross this path.

"You lost?" A person asked from behind. It was a tall, blonde guy.

"Yeah, a little..." You answered.

He chuckled softly and handed you his umbrella. 

"Won't you get wet then?" You asked.

He shrugged. "I'm used to it."

You nodded and accepted the umbrella.

"Well... Where are you heading to? Maybe we can go together?" He asked.

"I'm trying to find the way to my house. Usually I'd get a ride, so I don't really know the directions." You chuckled.

He smiled. "Makes sense. I'm Hyunjin by the way." He told and extended his hand.

You shook it and smiled. "I'm Y/N."

"Nice to meet you Y/N." He said. "Do you want to follow along with me and see if you can recognise something on the way?"

"That would be nice." You smiled.

"Let's go then." He took your hand and was about to go, when someone pulled the two of you apart.

"Chan? What are you doing here?" You asked when you saw who it was.

"You know this guy?" Hyunjin asked and tilted his head to get a better look of Chan.

"Yeah.... He's my boyfriend.." You answered.

Chan didn't look at any of you and just stayed in his position with one hand in yours and the other on Hyunjin's chest.

"How long do you wanna stay like this?" Hyunjin asked Chan, who still denied eye contact.

He let his hand go of Hyunjin's chest and started walking away with you.

"Wait Chan. Where are we going?" You asked. He didn't answer and just kept walking.

You've had enough of this silent stuff, and just decided to ask what was on your mind. "Is this your way of preparing me for a break up?"

He stopped in his tracks and looked very deep into your eyes. His gaze was filled with sorrow and pain.

"Am I right?" You asked again.

He thought for a very long time; well at least it felt like that. It was approximately about 5 minutes.

"We are going to die now Y/N." Chan finally said.

You looked confused at him, but when it started thundering you knew he wasn't joking and that this was serious.

"We don't have much time left, so just let me explain." He said.

You nodded and he started rap-talking as fast as he could at an understandable pace.

"The author is bored with me and wanted to kill me; therefore I obviously pleaded for my life. The author agreed to spare me if I promised never to talk to you again."

"And if not?" You asked.

"We would both die..." He said.

You looked to the ground. So he was just trying to protect you.

"I love you Y/N and I always will. I knew we had to break up at some point if this was going to continue, but now that I'm actually facing the situation..." He paused to catch his breath.

"I just couldn't do it... I'm sorry that I dragged you into this Y/N." He said and lifted your face up to meet his.

"I love you Channie."

And with that, you both left the world. Together.
