Sorry for making you guys wait so much- Idk, I need to upload more often lol

Your heart started beating faster after reading over a specific part of the script.

You were announced as the lead role for your school play, alongside your crush Hyunjin. He had a girlfriend, so you tried to supress your feelings.

"Have you read the script through?" Hyunjin suddenly asked, interrupting your train of thoughts.

"Oh- Yeah. The writers have done a good job this year." You smiled.

He nodded. "Let's just hope we can perform it as well as it's written."

The door next to you opened and Hyunjin's girlfriend went straight past you into his arms.

"Jinnieeeee, I'm so proud of you!" She said while clinging onto him.

"We haven't even started practising yet." He stated but returned her smile.

You just sat there watching them awkwardly, hoping the director would pick up the actors soon.

You prayers were answered, as just a few minutes later he walked in.

"Okay guys! We will try out the first scene very soon, so get dressed and go to your positions." He commanded.

"Goodluck baby." Hyunjin's girlfriend said and kissed his cheek.

You scoffed, slightly disgusted, and went to the dressing room.

-5 hours of practise later-

The practise for the ending scene was coming up soon. You were getting really nervous, as the two lead roles had to kiss.

What if you weren't a good kisser? What if you looked too desperate? What would his girlfriend think of you later?

You felt a hand on your shoulder, giving you a slight fright.

"Calm down Y/N. Let's go for a comfortable and relaxed vibe. I won't be too hard on you." Hyunjin said and winked at you, before getting called to stage by a staff member.

You sucked in a deep breath. Okay, maybe you overthought it a little too much. It was just an act after all. Nothing serious.

Right?

You read the script through once more and left as well.

-5 minutes later-

The scene was going smoothly. Of course the writers and directors corrected and guided a little bit here and there, but nothing entirely wrong had occurred yet.

Your heart was racing alongside the background music. Hyunjin pulled you close to him and said his line.

You tried to calm yourself, but your face was red as a tomato.

Hyunjin didn't seem very affected though. He was a great actor after all.

After you said your line, he pulled his mouth to yours and gave you a soft kiss.

The curtains closed and the main director came running to the stage applauding you.

"Perfect! It looked very natural. Keep up the good work everyone."

Hyunjin thanked him and went backstage.

You stood there, a blushing mess, not knowing what to do.

-4 Months of practise later. (Show day)-

Hyunjin's girlfriend had been side-eyeing you all day.

She wasn't very intimidating, so you let it slide and ignored her instead.

It was actually quite funny. Anyways-

Today was the actual day of the play. You had just finished the dress rehearsal, and you and Hyunjin were reading through the script together for the last time.

You had about an hour to get the last details in place.

Hyunjin seemed unsatisfied after he finished reading it all.

"What's wrong?" You asked.

"I just think we could do better at the ending." He replied and looked into your eyes.

You blushed and looked away. "Well... What do you reckon we should do different then?"

He thought for a bit and answered: "Let's film us practising and then point out flaws to fix."

Your heart jumped into your throat. "Film it?..."

"Yeah! We can see what we are missing. And-" He grinned cheekily.

"-we'll have a memory of this day."

Your eyes widened at his words, but you ended up agreeing.

20 minutes later of filming and monitoring, there were about 10 minutes left till the play began and both of your lips were all puffy and red.

"I think we're good now." Hyunjin said satisfied.

"Babyyyyyyyy!" Hyunjin's girlfriend called as she entered the Green-Room.

She glared at you, but quickly smiled when Hyunjin pulled her in for a kiss.

"What were you watching?" She asked and pointed to his phone.

"Oh, it's nothing. Just some random YouTube videos to get time to pass." He quickly lied.

She studied the both of you suspiciously. "Well-"

The director cut her off by rushing through the door leading to the backstage. "We are starting in 5 minutes! Get to your positions."

Hyunjin quickly kissed his girlfriend goodbye and walked through the door with his hand in yours.

She looked heartbroken and jealous after him.

You were feeling so many emotions at once, it was hard to clear your head.

"Nervous?" Hyunjin asked you.

"A little." You admitted.

He smiled. "It will be okay. It's all just an act after all."

"Right, yeah. Just an act..."

The play was in the lead male's point of view, so Hyunjin left for the stage first.

You went up a few minutes later.
