I.N - Gone Now Though

I.N POV:

I was going to propose to Y/N today. We've been together for about 5 years now, so I thought it was time.

I had asked her to meet me at our favourite spot around noon.

Maybe I should have given her a more precise time... I've already waited for 15 minutes.

Oh, there she is!

Y/N POV:

I.N had asked you to come to the bridge, where you usually would hang out.

The sun was actually warm for once, and the water looked incredibly clear. Perfect summer day for a swim.

"Hi Innie~. It's such a nice weather, innit?" You greeted cheerfully.

He looked up at the sky. "Yeah, it is. Great day to have a wedding, as well."

You nodded. "Want to sit down at the bench there?" You asked and pointed to the piece of wood.

"Yeah, sure." I.N answered.

The two of you sat down and talked for a little while.

"You seem nervous today. Something wrong?" You asked.

"I do? I mean... I'm totally fine! Yeah, everything's great. Nothing wrong. Might just be the humidity. Heh..."

You raised an eyebrow. "Okay-..."

"Let's stand up! Great for the legs." I.N suddenly said.

You chuckled. "Why are you acting so strange today?"

"Strange? Nah, I'm totally myself! I do feel a strange tinkle, though, and my hands are pretty sweaty." He told.

You put your hand on his forehead. "You're boiling hot! We should go home and check your temperature."

"There's no need for that! I just have something really important to ask you..."

"Well, what is it then?" You asked curiously (I'm so curious).

"Well, uhh." He began searching for something in his pockets.

You looked at the water behind him. It looked very refreshing. Wouldn't it be funny if you just-

*SPLASH*

"What was that for!?" I.N yelled, all wet.

You laughed maniacly at the scene in front of you.

"I'm sorry. You just looked like someone who needed to cool down a bit."

He rolled his eyes. "The ring is gone now though."

"Ring?" You asked surprised.

"Oh, did I say that out loud?..."

"Were you trying to propose?!" You ran down and helped him up from the river.

He scratched the back of his neck. "Well, kind of... This wasn't how I planned it to go but Y/N," He got down on one knee. "would you like to be my wife?"

You began jumping up and down. "Ring or no ring, it would be a yes either way!"
