Right lets get into it, im not saying i have a saviour complex but these characters, wait are they even characters anymore?

These PEOPLE then need saving, because nobodies getting traumatised anymore, that is a lie i know damn well people will probably still die oh my days whatthefuckwhatthefuck-
OKAY DEEP BREATH IN- DEEP BREATH OUTTT.
whilst i was busy panicking as the situation finally set in i heard a little
knock knock
"hm? come in?" I called out my voice slightly weak as the door slid open with a nice quiet scraping noise, Tanjiro poked his head in before walking closer to me.
"Are you holding up okay? Anything you need?" His burgundy eyes filled with slight worry, mostly at my weak voice,
"If its not too much to ask can i have some water?" I asked
"Sure! I'll get you a cup right away." He smiled slightly and exited the room as i flopped back on the futon which was a mistake as my back slammed the soft mattress,
"AUGHCK AUCHK" Looks like my throats still sore, well thats an understatement.
After a few seconds Tanjiro came back in the room carrying a wooden cup, and i peeled myself from the futon as i sat up I realised i was wearing different clothes than my usual (clothes type) now i was fitted with a simple blue kimono with white bamboo designs and a darker blue obi with white linings, huh i guess new clothes are a perk of appearing in a different universe.
"Thank you Kamado-san" I replied as i took the cup and drank careful small sips as to not irritate my throat, very demure- very m- okay im gonna jump.
"You know you dont need to call me by my last name if we want to be friends, If you want to be friends i mean." He added on hurriedly, oh yeah formalness was a BIG thing back then, wait back then? But 'thens' now wha-oh whatever.
"Oh i see, is it okay if i call you Tanjiro-san then?" to which he nodded with a small smile "Well in that case call me Y/N!" I said brightly to which he smiled wider
"Sure! Hey you finished with the water? I can take it back for you." aww bless him hes so sweet
"Its fine i want to get out of this room anyway" I stated making him sweatdrop slightly, "whats wrong?" "Mother said youre not to leave unless youve made a full recovery" He muttered sheepishly,
'but..i cant be stuck in this room all day i have the attention span of a fruit fly im already bored!' ugh but i dont want to be an inconvenience-
"WAAAHHHHH" I suddenly blurted out as i dove my face into my hands as i comically cried before looking up all teary eyed "But tanjiro-san! Im already bored of this room! Even though its so lovely!" I said pointing at the wooden room which consisted of literally only of a futon, desk and chair plus a window.
Yeah forget about being annoying i cant help it i just am,
"A-ah in that case im sure if i ask my mother will allow me to let you out as long as I stay by your side!" Tanjiro rushed outsurprised.
'let me out? was i some sort of animal? well yes of course AEAEEAAEAAAEAEAEEA-" I screeched internally like a feral monkey.
"If it doesnt bother you that much please do!" I ask giving my best puppy eyes, which probably looked like a bugs bulging eyes but worth a try kekekeke.
Tanjiro POV
This foreigner girl sure is random but i guess its sort of endearing and her attempts at convincing were persuasive, aww look at that shes making puppy eyes i guess she can be cute , seeing as im her friend so far i'll make sure to ask mother for her!
"Alright then, wait here and I'll see what i can do" I nod in what i believe to be a confident way as i got up and walked out.
My socks made a soft padded noise across the wooden floor as i go to the engawa where my family was relaxing about now that all there chores were done, shame i hadnt been able to take charcoal out like usual due to mother being so busy with the girl being ill ive had to cover for her and take care of my siblings, but i wont mind as i get to spend more time with my family!
"Mother may Y/N-san please come out? she seems well enough"
