Police Investigation Department

The police were still investigating the case of the murder of the counter lady, named Bianca. 

"The CCTV shows the clear footage that the thief managed to escape. Judging from her height and build, she is a teenager." 

"Yeah, but that's the only information we have on her. Girls like that are almost everywhere. We need more leads." The policeman reported to the chief of police. 

The murder case, even though it was from a convenience store, had sparked suspicions almost everywhere in the city. More and more convenience stores were closing early and boarding up their doors, and almost all commuters who worked late could no longer go into these convenience stores to purchase late night dinners.

Perhaps this was the motive of the thief.

Perhaps she needed everywhere to be deserted before she pounced.

Was she sent on her own accord, or was it part of a bigger plot?

"No. We must get more information of the locals as well. We will need to visit house to house, and try to get as much information as possible, till we find the murderer. Since the murderer still walks free, we never know when she might strike again."

Albaster High School

"Seriously, I still don't see the purpose of writing that attutire (stupid) essay of his." Sofia snarked softly, and Antonio replied,"Sì, è così irragionevole (Yes, so unreasonable)." 

At this moment, one of Sofia's enemies, Alessi, sauntered up to her. "Oh my! Did I just hear the high and mighty Sofia complain about writing an essay as punishment for something she didn't do?" Alessi smirked at her.

"What do you want so early in the morning, Alessi?" Sofia muttered.

"Oh, nothing much. Just wanted to say you look uglier than hell!" She sneered, popping a pink bubblegum in her mouth.

"That bubblegum..." Andrea murmured.

"Were you the one who put the damn bubblegum in Mr Smith's chair?" Patrine snarled.

"That's right! What are you gonna do about it? Mr Smith is really quite convinced that you all were the ones who put it there!" She said with a tinkling laugh. "Gotta run! Toodles!"

"That Alessi never gave me good vibes in the first place." Marco whispered to them. "That girl is always causing trouble to us. I'd much rather just finish her off and be done with it." Julius said snidely. "What a joke! Do you think we can just kill her in a high school? There are surveillance cameras everywhere!" Luca laughed. "Well, so did that convenience store that recently closed down due to murder case..." Aemilia muttered.

In the middle of lessons

"We apologise for the interruption. This is Mrs Gina speaking from the office. All students are to report to the Auditorium now."  The PA speakers crackled.

The 8 of them shot each other knowing glances. The police were most likely under investigation, still searching for the wanted thief and murderer of the convenience store. Not only that, the school was situated near the place of the murder, so it was logical that the police come here to investigate. Also, the robber was a teenager.
