Chapter 6 Past Life

Yawn "Another day another- huh?! Where am i!?" I woke up in a clean place which is definitely not my room. Suddenly i heard someone shout "Miss Charlotte!" Charlotte? That girl who crashed the car i saw...? Wha- what, how did i? My mind was all empty and had so many questions on why i am somehow in this person's body named "Charlotte".

Then someone came into the room, they looked like a maid from those rich people's movies. Is Charlotte rich or do i just really like to guess stuff?

"Um... ma'am, what year is it?" i asked the lady.

"Miss Charlotte, this is very new of you, you have never called me ma'am since i got here, is there something wrong?" she replied in a concerned tone.

"Oh um, nothing, I'm fine, I'm fine, don't worry."

The lady asked again if i was sure i was fine, i nodded and smiled. Then 2 other people came in the room with a tray, it had Pancakes, cookies and milk. I was still confused and shocked but i ate it anyway, and i didn't want anyone noticing that I'm actually not Charlotte. They left the room with an empty tray.

I started slapping and pinching myself, but nothing happened, maybe this isn't a dream... but i still can't believe im in the 2000s? But-but how is this even possible? I started walking to the bedroom door and got out. wow... Their house is big! I guess Charlotte is rich.

I started to walk around and then i saw a huge mirror, i looked at it and saw Charlotte's face. Wow, she's very pretty! I continued walking and i bumped into someone, they were wearing fashionable clothes.

"Good morning darling! Remember you have piano lessons later today at 1:30 PM, so get ready, I'll be heading off now, i have an important meeting today."

I nodded with a smile, she then started to walk downstairs. Was that her mom? I didn't get to respond to what she said.

I saw her mom walking and going inside a luxury car? This was shocking to me, i mean i just live a simple normal life. I went downstairs to eat breakfast, and i saw some paintings. They were very unique and beautiful, i wanted to take a picture of them but realized i didn't have my phone. Eh, I'll try remembering this.

"Morning Miss Charlotte! Someone is outside waiting for you." said one of the ladies in this mansion.

"Oh? Who?" i asked.

"They said they're your friend. They said their name is Amelia, are you familiar with that name?"

"Oh um, I'll check it out."

"Sure Miss Charlotte!"

I went to see who this Amelia person is. I noticed they were driving a car that looked like the car i saw that crashed days ago...

"Uh, you must be Amelia?" I questioned.

"Duh! By the way, are you going to Olivia's Party tomorrow?" said Amelia.

"Olivi- Oh! Yeah! Yeah."

"Sweet! And want to hang out today?"

"Oh um... sure!"

I went upstairs to get ready, when i opened Charlotte's closet, wow there's a lot of branded fashionable outfits, while i was getting ready I wondered where's the actual Charlotte right now? Did we switch bodies? I then got down and saw Amelia still waiting in the car.

"What took you so long? And isn't that a bit too fancy to go to the park-?" i looked at her in shock, she didn't say we were going to the park.

"We-well, you didn't tell me we were going to the park."

"True... oh well, hop in anyways."

She then smiled at me and i smiled back, i hoped in the car. Her car was abit rusty but i liked the color since i love the color cyan.

We got to the park, i was all nervous since i might say or do something that Charlotte doesnt do, since i might ruin her life when she comes back in this body, if we actually switched bodies. Amelia and I got out of the car and started walking to the park, she found a bench to sit on. "Stay here, I'll go buy us hotdogs!" Said Amelia.

So, i sat and waited. I saw some people playing with their dogs, playing badminton and soccer. This park is big! And the stuff happening reminds me of Jasper and Sam. I wonder how they are right now, since i think Charlotte is in my body.

I hope she didn't do something bad! But i don't think she would but I'm not sure if we did switch bodies. Amelia came back with 2 hotdogs and 2 drinks. I got up and helped her carry them since it looked like she was struggling.

Our day continued, we got to the beach and watched the view, we played arcade games, there were a lot of old ones that are very unique, and Amelia insisted on taking me to a nearby restaurant for lunch, i said yes. She took me and ran to the restaurant, we sat, and she ordered.

We eventually got our orders; we ate them, and it was such a delicious meal! Never knew 2000s meals were so yum! I don't really know a lot about the 2000s, but it feels so fun! I realized the time was 1:30 PM, Shoot! Charlotte's piano lessons! "Hey Amelia, can you drive me to where i take piano lessons? If you know where, i kind of forgot where it is!" i asked. "Oh! Yeah of course!"

She then drove me to the place, we arrived, and my eyes got big since the place was so big! "I'll be going inside now. Thank you and bye!" I shouted as i ran inside the building "Uhm, yeah! Have fun! Charlotte you're a bit different today."
