Arisa's POV:
I woke up to my alarm ringing and felt the urge to go back to sleep. But then I remembered that I was going to meet Hoshi's friends today—who could potentially become my colleagues and friends too! Excitement jolted me out of bed. I took a quick shower and changed into a casual but pretty outfit. I wore a cream sweater with a black mini skirt, black stockings, and knee-high boots. Since it was still quite cold in Korea, I brought along a cream coat to match my fit.
As I glanced at the clock, I saw it was 12:40 PM. I needed to meet them at 1 PM at the cafe. I hurried downstairs to my car—a baby blue Porsche Taycan that my dad got me for my 21st birthday. It was my baby, and I loved it so much. The drive to the cafe took about 15 minutes, and thankfully, I wasn't late. I hated being late as I found it disrespectful to people's time.
Once I arrived, I dropped Hoshi a text to see if they had arrived yet.

**Text Conversation:**
Me: Hey, have you guys reached?
Kwon🐯: In 2 mins! You can find us a seat first. Just saying, there are 13 of us, so 14 with you.
Me: What? Okay.

Seventeen's POV Before Meeting Arisa:
In the car, the Seventeen members were buzzing with curiosity about the mysterious person Hoshi wanted them to meet. As they were on the way to the cafe, they couldn't help but tease him relentlessly.
"Alright, spill it, Hoshi. Who's this special someone we're meeting?" asked Seungkwan, a mischievous grin on his face.
"Yeah, come on, Hoshi! You've been so secretive about it," added Vernon.
Hoshi just shook his head, trying to keep a straight face. "You'll see soon enough. Just be patient, okay?"
DK nudged him playfully. "Is it a girl? Are you finally bringing a girl to meet us?"
Hoshi rolled his eyes. "It's not like that, DK. She's just a friend."
"Just a friend?" Jeonghan echoed, his eyebrows raised in skepticism. "And you left practice early for this 'just a friend'?"
Hoshi sighed. "She's a really important person to me, okay? We've been best friends since high school."
"Oooh, best friends, huh?" Mingyu teased, winking at Hoshi. "Are you sure there isn't something more?"
"Seriously, guys. She's just a friend. But she's also going to be our new colleague," Hoshi explained, trying to steer the conversation back to normal.
Joshua, always the voice of reason, stepped in. "Alright, alright. Let's not make Hoshi too uncomfortable. We'll find out soon enough."
Arisa's POV:
"13 guys are coming? Damn, I guess I'll get the seats first," I muttered to myself. Luckily, I found a long table by the corner of the cafe with a great view. I sat down and waited for them to arrive. "Areum!" I looked up and saw Hoshi coming towards me with 12 more guys behind him. I gave him a small hug and offered the rest of the guys a handshake.
"Alright guys, this is Areum. She's my childhood best friend and also our new colleague!" Hoshi said, introducing me to his members.
The first to introduce himself was a tall guy with a dominant aura. "Hi, I'm Scoups, and I'm the leader of the group," he said, smiling brightly at me. Oh man, they were all tall and good-looking. Even though I'm not too short myself at 168 cm, they were still super tall compared to me. They introduced themselves one by one according to age.
"Hi, I'm Jeonghan, but you can call me Han," said this blonde-haired guy who literally looked like a real-life angel. WTH?
"Hi, I'm Joshua. You can call me Shua," he smiled at me, and he literally looked like Bambi the deer, especially with his eyes. OMG.
"Hi, I'm Jun," said a guy who seemed a bit shy. I could tell he was Chinese just by his accent. I took Mandarin as my third language back in university, so I could easily identify him and the guy behind him with a black mullet.
"Hi, I'm The8, but you can call me Minghao or Myungho, whichever you prefer."
"Ya, Areum ah, how do you know Chinese?" Hoshi asked, looking confused.
"Oh, I took it up as my third language when I was in university," I replied.
"Third? What other languages do you speak besides Korean and Chinese?" asked Scoups.
"I speak English too since I was born and raised in LA, California."
"Oh, that's where Joshua is from, and I'm from New York. Hi, I'm Vernon," said a light brown-haired guy who definitely looked like a New Yorker, especially with his accent. I smiled at Joshua after finding out he was from LA too, and he smiled back.
The rest continued to introduce themselves—so many names to remember! "Wonwoo, Woozi, Dino, and Seungkwan. Alright, I think I got this," I said, smiling at them. I remember names quite fast, so it shouldn't be an issue for me.
"Alright, let's order some food and drinks. I'm super hungry," Hoshi whined.
"What do you want, Areum? I'll get it for you," Hoshi said, looking at the menu.
"Hmm, I'll get a ham and cheese sandwich with an iced matcha latte. Thank you!" I replied.
"Areum, I thought your name was Arisa?" Joshua asked, looking confused.
"Well, yeah, Arisa Kim is my English name," I explained. They all nodded in response.
After ordering our food, we talked for a while, getting to know each other better.
"What made you come back to Korea and choose this job?" asked Woozi, and suddenly, all eyes were on me, anticipating my answer.
"Well, even though I had everything I needed given to me, it was never really what I wanted to do. My dream was to do something related to social media or just this industry. I did some modeling when I was 18. To be honest, I did quite well, but it wasn't my dream. I still do photoshoots sometimes, just not as frequently as before," I explained. As I looked up, I made eye contact with Joshua. He immediately looked away and kind of blushed. Well, that was kind of cute...
"Here you go," the waiter said, placing our food on the table.
"Let's eat, everyone," Scoups said. We all ate our food and had small talks and different conversations. Since Wonwoo was sitting beside me, I talked to him quite a bit. He kind of reminded me of a cat for some reason.
"Hey, Arisa, can I get your number? Just in case you need help next time, you can text me too," said Wonwoo, passing me his phone.
"Sure, it's good to know more people so I don't always have to find Hoshi," I said, entering my number.
"Ya, you can always find me if you need anything," Hoshi said, looking worried and sincere.
"I know, but I don't always want to bother you," I said, smiling softly at him.
