Chapter 34:

“Are we there yettttt?” Zayn whines. The boys and I sit in the massive tour bus on the way to the concert.

The lads recently got a new bus, and I’m not quite sure why. It’s absolutely massive though. On one end of the bus there are 6 bunks. 3 piled on top of each other on one side, and 3 facing them on the other side. In the middle is the kitchen, right next to the living room. The living room has two huge couches facing each other, where Louis, Zayn and I sit. There is a huge bed and a sectional couch with a table.

It’s entirely black and red, and it is the coolest bus I have ever seen.

“No, shut up and play some FIFA,” Louis says as he tosses Zayn a controller.

Louis, Niall, Zayn, and I decide to play FIFA on the huge TV. Harry and Liam lounge on the massive bed, tapping away on Twitter on their iPhones. Niall went to the kitchen to get some food, so we had to pause the game.

He emerges from the kitchen with a bag of salt and vinegar chips as he munches away.

“S’okay,” he says with a mouthful of chips. “I’m back.” He slams down next to Zayn on the couch across from Zayn and mine and picks up his game controller. “Bring it,” he says with a grin.

The bus drops us off by the backstage entrance and I rush inside with the boys. Unfortunately, Louis and Niall beat Zayn and I 18-3. You don’t get between Louis and his football.

The lads are pulled into hair and makeup so I go to find the lounge where I normally hang out before shows. I walk down the long corridor as a hand grasps my wrist. I turn around abruptly to find Louis’ teal eyes staring back at me. He gives me a small smile before explaining himself.

“Hey Del, would you mind coming on stage tonight?” he asks. My eyes widen at his question.

“Uh—are you sure about that, Lou?”

“Positive,” he grins. “Pleeeeeeeeease Del, for me?”

  “Fine… But—“

“Go into hair and makeup, Leigh is waiting for you!” he pulls me into a big hug. “Thank you Delilah Grace!”

“Just for you, Louis William,” I say cheekily. “Let me go tell the girls,” he nods and heads back to hair and makeup. I head to the lounge and burst through the door.

Perrie and Danielle jump up, and Eleanor stands slowly.

“Del! I feel like it’s been ages!” Perrie exclaims.

  “It’s been like a day,” I giggle.

“I know, I know, c’mere,” Perrie pulls me into a hug and I squeeze back tightly.

Dani pulls me into an embrace next, followed by El. “You excited for the concert?” Dani shrieks.

“Yes!” I reply. “But uh—the guys asked me to stay on stage tonight…”

“Oh my gosh, they must want to do something special,” Perrie says, her eyes wide. “They never do that.”

“Yeah really, I’ve only been up there twice,” Danielle says. Eleanor just shrugs.

  “I don’t know, but I can’t say no!” I say. “I’m kinda nervous though.”

“Don’t be, you’ll be brilliant,” Eleanor says quietly.
