Starship called Siyoung into their office. She didn't want to go there because she knew it wasn't for anything good. They definitely wanted to discuss her recent posts on Instagram. They definitely wanted to question her about meeting up with an unknown friend. That's why Siyoung was surprised when Jaehyun, the head of her team, said what he said.

"Who's this friend you've been talking about on Instagram?" he asked. Siyoung audibly swallowed, even though she knew this question was coming. She didn't know whether to tell the truth. She was confused. Most of all, she didn't know why she was afraid to say it was Jinyoung. After all, they meant nothing more than friends, and that was okay. Siyoung had to be lost in her thoughts for a while and not responding, as Jaehyun continued.

"Don't worry that we're going to forbid this friendship. We're just curious about who it is," he reassured her.

"Kim Jinyoung, also known as Dex," she replied honestly, "we met one day in a café, but we started becoming closer friends after our time together in Nolto." At that moment, Siyoung remembered that she would be broadcasting the episode where she substituted for Taeyeon. The whole of Korea would see the moment when Jinyoung talked about her not giving him her number. She had a feeling that after today, a lot of people would dislike her. But who knows... maybe she would gain new fans because of it. You never know. She'll have to wait until the evening to find out.

"And you're just friends?" a woman from the marketing team asked. Siyoung nodded.

"Don't think you can't tell us if you're dating. You're not forbidden from dating, and you're even allowed to talk about your relationship. Just if you start dating him or anyone else, we want to know that first. It's just for if there might be any speculations, so we know how to react," Jaehyun smiled at her, "so if you're lying to us here and you're dating Dex, you can tell us."

"I'm not lying. We really are just friends," she smiled. Yet.

"Alright," Jaehyun said, "well, now that you know what to do, you can go. Namgil, don't you have a photoshoot?" Jaehyun turned to Namgil, who nodded.

I understand that the idol world doesn't work like this, and something like this would never happen, especially at Starship. But this is just fiction created in my mind. Just like Jinyoung's behavior here, which isn't how he would typically act (I think because no one present themself on cam the same as in real life). I hope you understand and I didn't offend you by depicting the K-pop industry so positively.
