006 || Anxiety Attack

Ava Potter's pov:

The Ball is in a few days and i am so nervous. Right now, i am in class next to Pansy. Mattheo and Draco in front of us. I still haven't been able to get my parents to stop the marriage, all i wanna do is say 'hey i am in love with Mattheo Riddle and if i am marrying someone it is him' but i can't i may actually die.

"Miss. Potter are you paying attention?" i blink my eyes to snap out of my thoughts. i see everyone looking at me. I begin shaking and Pansy sees as she grabs my hand.

"i- um- yea"

"what are we talking about?" 

"i-i- don't know professor" 

"disappointment to the Potter name" 

"i-" i shook my head and put it down. i was so sick of being called that one word. since i was 5. i learned how to take care of myself because no one else would. I couldn't always go over to Catherine's and Tom's as much as i wanted to, i wish i could but i couldn't. 

"Miss Potter that doesn't mean put your head down" i scoff and let go of Pansy's hand and grab my bag, walking out. i can never escape that one word. it follows me everywhere i go. 

"AVA" I hear Pansy call. I sank to the ground, a few seconds later i was pulled into a pair of arms. 

"that fucking word...it follows me everywhere"

"sh sh sh sh" she pulls me to her chest, I feel tears run down my face. Weak, i know. i just can't take the word anymore. i hear footsteps running down the hall. Mattheo and Draco kneel next to me. 

i pull away from Pansy and wrap my arms around Mattheo's neck. within seconds i felt calm again. I stopped crying a few seconds later, but i never let go. He was and will always be the only one who can calm me down in seconds. 

"shhh A" he whispers in my ear. he finally sits down and puts a hand on the back of my thigh to pull my legs around him. i nuzzled my head into his neck more and shut my eyes feeling safe and protected. 

Mattheo Riddle's pov: 

i pull her into my lap and she nuzzles her head into my neck more. Pansy and Draco are staring at her with sorrow. i sighed and kissed her temple. She will forever be my only weakness. i heard her soft snores and smiled. 

"she fell asleep" i whispered but loud enough for Draco and Pansy to hear. 

"it's amazing how safe she feels with you" Draco says as i slowly stand up.

"yea i don't even trust you like that" Pansy says smiling innocently at Draco. he rolls his eyes and flips her off. i chuckle and Ava stirs. i put my hand on her head as I stopped moving. "it is so sad how much she has been called a disappointment" Pansy added.

"ever since she was 5" 

"really!?" i nodded. we walk all the way back to our dorm in silence. once we get there Pansy opens the door and i put Ava down on her bed. slowly i lift the covers up and slip underneath with her. 

i wrap my arms around her waist. "i love you Ava" i whispered before kissing her hair and falling asleep.

i woke up feeling Ava stir. i opened my eyes and saw her still asleep. I smiled and kissed her hair gently before getting up. i looked over and saw Pansy and Draco in bed, cuddling. i grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom. i didn't shower, just changed. We had dinner in a few minutes. 

I walked out and sat next to Ava, i started lightly shaking her. "A, come on it is time to wake up" she stirs and moves her head to my lap, i laugh as my hand starts playing with her hair. "come on mi amour" 

"mnoooo" she whined, i laughed

"Pansy and Draco are still asleep" she shot up and smiled. she grabbed a pillow and walked over to them. she hit them in the face and Pansy shot up

"you bitch"

"y'all looked adorable though" she said as she hit Draco again. Pansy blushed and Ava saw because she chuckled and shook her head. Draco finally got up and we all walked downstairs to the great hall.

Ava Potter's pov:

as we were sitting my phone rang, i picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Ava Potter" i sighed

"yes"

"we called to let you know the wedding venue is ready for you"

"please cancel"

"what, why?"

"the person i am marrying cheated on me"

"oh i am so sorry, i will notify the parents"

"no it is ok they don't need to know"

"ok, get better soon, Ava"

"will do" and she hung up. i chuckled at my parents stupidly, like really tell them to call me. you may say 'Don't listen to her' they still do. i looked up and saw everyone looking at me. "what?"

"Marrying?" Theodore asked

"oh right i am in an arranged marriage" i nodded while Theodore's, Lorenzo's and Blaise's eyes widened. "yup, as of right now i am trying everything i can to get out"

"what have you done so far" Enzo asked

"the only progress so far is getting kicked out, and the marriage still going"

"wow your family is really fucked up" Blaise commented.

"you're telling me" i roll my eyes and pick up my fork. 

"do you have a place to live?" Theodore asks.

"yea Mattheo's parents are helping" 

"i swear they love you more than me" 

"they do" i do a dramatic hair flip, causing the whole table to laugh. we laughed and talked for a while until going back to the common room and hanging out, we played truth or dare. it was fun.

i have like major writer's block and it is killing me. I kinda had to do a small chapter because as of right now my brain won't let me do a full chapter with like tons of things happening. and if i did it would probably be shit, lol. anyways i love you guys🩷💚
