Ava Potter's pov:

It was about halfway before the wedding now. My mother already picked out my dress and I still haven't seen it. Mattheo and I have been doing fine. He is starting to be more open, I can see it. He is trying. 

Pansy and Draco are holding strong. They are an adorable couple. My mother doesn't like the idea of Pansy being my maid of honor but she can't really say anything about it. My mother will also be picking my bridesmaids dresses because she doesn't want me seeing the dress.

Is it bad I already wanna burn that damn dress? Today is Christmas break. I was overjoyed to see Tom and Cissy. But sadly my parents were putting on their annual Christmas ball. Pansy wanted to go shopping with me so I of course agreed.

I was sitting in the great hall eating with Pansy, Draco and Mattheo. Harry and his group walked up to me. "What Harry"

"I wanna talk" 

"Without them" I said pointing to Granger and Potter "And we can talk."

"Sure." He shrugged. I nodded and got up walking out of the hall. He was behind me. I stopped and turned to him. "So, I know a simple 'sorry' won't make up for basically your whole life. But either way you are my sister. Yes, our parents treat me better but I am just now realizing this. 

It isn't fair how you have to raise Jason all by yourself and you are only 16 turning 17 in a couple of days" Shit, I even forgot my birthday. "I hate how I only focused on myself and only me. If I could go back in time I would, but I can't."

"I am not gonna forgive you," He looked down. "yet" I added. He looked up and smiled. 

"Really!?" 

"Mhm"

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I laughed and shook my head.

"Is the Harry Potter fan girling over me" I put a hand to my heart and wiped some fake tears. "This is an honor" He rolled his eyes.

"Thank you Ava"

"Don't make me regent this"

"I won't I promise" I nodded and walked back into the great hall. Everyone was basically gone due to breakfast being over soon and classes starting. But I entered with a very very protective Mattheo getting held back by Draco while Harry went to Granger and Weasley. 

I walked over to Mattheo who got out of Draco's grip and ran over to me and engulfed me in a hug. "What the fuck did he do?!"

"Sorry, we tried to stop him" 

"Thanks guys and Mattheo relax he said he was sorry for how he was treating me." I said as Mattheo softened when he heard this. He hugged me tighter. "Relax love" I whispered into his neck. 

He wasn't jealous and I knew that but he knows how Harry treats me so when he asked to talk to me I am sure it worried him. "You have him wrapped around your finger"

"Fuck off, Malfoy" He turned around and flipped him off. Draco then did the same but stuck his tongue out. I laughed as the boys. Pansy came over to me.

"They are such children" I nodded.

"Yup"

"Hey! We heard that!" Pansy and I looked at each other before smiling and running away from the 2 boys. Pansy and I bumped into Luna. 

"Oh my I am so sorry Luns but I really gotta go" I nodded towards the boys and she shooed us away. 

"Go go go go"

"Thank you really are the best Luna!" She shot me a smile before turning around. Somehow we ended up near the Black Lake. Probably not the best place to go to. I put my hand son my knees as I was trying to catch my breath, Pansy doing the same.

Soon I felt hands around my waist and being put over someone's shoulder. The same thing happened to Pansy. "3...2...1" They said in sink over our begs and pleads to put us down. And just like that we where in the water.

Pansy came up and headed over to a laughing Draco. "Help me out, you owe me" He went to grab her hand and she pulled him in. 

"He's so stupid" I said laughing. 

"Hey! I heard that"

"Good! Maybe be smarter next time" He groaned in annoyance as he wiped the water on his face. I smiled at Draco and turned to the brown haired boy. "Come on lover boy" 

"Nope I am not coming in"

"Please" I put on a pouty face as I saw Pansy smirking in the corner of my eye. 

"No no no no. You know I can't resist that." I smiled while still making a pouty face. "Finee" He groaned. He took his shirt off and sat down, sliding into the water. I smiled and swam over to him. 

He wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me to him. Luckily no one was around. Pansy and Draco swam over to us and smiled. "We haven't done something like this in a while" I turned around and put my back to Mattheo's chest and my head on his shoulder.

"We haven't but we should do it more often, while we can." 

"I keep forgetting this is our last year" Draco sighed as he looked around. "I am gonna miss this place"

"Wow I never thought I would hear you say that." I said

"Honestly, I didn't either but this place is home." Everyone nodded agreeing. I looked over and saw Pansy in tears I tilted my head.

"Pans.." I swam out of Mattheo's arms and went to Pansy. She wrapped her arms around my neck. "We will be ok love" 

"Hey that's my thing" Pansy finally smiled, it was small but she still smiled. I knew that was Draco's intention. 

"Sisters before misters" She said softly. 

"Sisters before misters" I repeated. More tears fell and I pulled her into another hug. Soon I felt her shaking from the coldness. "Alright time to get out." Everyone nodded. Draco got out and helped Pansy. Mattheo got out and helped me.

I was more cold now then I was in the freezing water. Mattheo threw me his hoodie and I smile at him gratefully. "Aren't you gonna be cold."

"You come first." He smiled. I blushed. I threw the sweater over myself and Pansy walked over linking arms with me. 

"I love you guys" I said to the 3 next to me.

"We love you A" This time I felt a few tears leave my eyes. We were graduating in a few months. That hasn't really settled in. I grew up here. We all did. Leaving didn't feel right. Pansy saw because she stopped and pulled me into a hug.

"Damn why are girls so emotional" Draco said.

"Well I am sorry we love this place" I smiled and wiped my tears. I could tell Mattheo wanted to do something but there were people around, we were now in the courtyard. 

"I love this place to but I ain't crying"

"Think about how we won't ever be able to do what we just did in that lake surrounded by magic. Think about how we won't ever be able to skip class again. Think about how we won't have movie nights in our dorm. Think about how we won't be able to watch you play a match anymore."

I finished and looked at Draco who had a few tears falling. "See!" I extended my arm pointing to him. He chuckled through the tears. Pansy wrapped him in a hug. I looked at Mattheo who had watery eyes. 

I tilted my head at the sight and hugged him tight. He wrapped his arms around my waist. "We will be ok, I promise" I whispered into his ear.

"I know." I pulled away and we all linked arms. 

"Now, let's go watch a movie" I said. Everyone smiled and we all walked to our dorm. We got changed. I changed into one of Mattheo's hoodies since we weren't gonna go to class and a pair of shorts. 

I climbed into bed and nuzzled my head into Mattheo's chest. We watched to movie and I soon fell asleep.
