<Ava Potter's pov>

Pansy was helping me get ready for the wedding as I didn't want someone else to. Luna, Cho and Hermione would all arrive shortly. "Are you ok?"

"I hope everything goes according to plan"

"When you put it like that it sounds like we are getting ready to murder someone" We both break out into a fit of giggles as she pulls the curler away from my head so I don't get burned. The door opened and in walked Luna and Cho. 

"Hi girls" I smiled. They set down their bags and walked over to begin on makeup. A little while later Hermione walked in and began helping Pansy with my hair. Once they were done they started helping me with my dress.

Music was playing in the background and it definitely broke the nerves of today. 

"You look gorg" I did a nervous chuckle.

"Thanks"

"Are you scared?" Luna asked calmly.

"Of course I am. The one person I want up there isn't" 

"Yea well at your next wedding he will be." I rolled my eyes and smiled, feeling blush rising to my cheeks. "We need to get going" I nodded and grabbed Hermione's arm walking out. I sat my father there waiting for me.

I sighed and unlinked arms with Hermione and went to my father and linked arms. He didn't look at me but kept his head forward. I wasn't minding not talking to him so I didn't care. The doors opened and we walked out.

After the bridesmaid of course. I was met with Lucas's eyes and I couldn't help but get more nervous. It didn't become just us and no one else. It didn't feel real. 

You look beautiful mi amour but relax, your shaking.

I love you, please don't forget that.

I know my love, I love you more. 

I smiled slightly and finally got up to Lucas. I hated that he had to touch me, even if it was just my hands. I just hated today in general. I wanted it over and it hadn't even started. I hated today more than my sorting...although I don't remember it. 

"Dearly beloved of the wizarding world, we are here today to welcome Lucas Lockwood and Ava Potter as our new wizarding couple." Cheers filled the room and I shut my eyes trying to relax. 

Deep breaths my love...In and out. 

I took a deep breath in and held it for a few seconds before letting it out. I smiled a bit and opened my eyes. "We will perform the unbreakable vow before their vows." We took each other arms and held it. "Do you Lucas Lockwood, accept any and all punishments found suitable if you break this vow"

"I do" He nodded. I told him my plan so he knew what was going to happen and right when he got to me everything would crumble.

"Do you Ava Potter, accept any and all punishments found suitable if you break this vow"

"No" 

"Ok you may- wait, what?" I pull my arm from him and he does the same with a huge smile on his face. My father and mother stand up while Harry and Mattheo stand up walking towards me. 

"Excuse you?!" My father shouted. Jay ran up and into my arms. I picked him up and the looked at the crowd. They look horrified. 

"You heard me...No."

"This is your wedding Ava!"

"But did I ever want him to be the person I was marrying" I turned to look at him. "No offense" He puts his hands up as Hermione walked up to him and kissed him on the lips. I was smiling hard and my mouth was on the floor.

I started bouncing up and down a bit happy my friend was happy. She pulled away and he pulled her to his chest. I forgot my parents were there. And of course they had to fucking ruin their moment. 

"You are continuing this marriage! He is the only one who has someone. We will find you someone new if we have to!" I looked at Pansy and a couple tears were falling, she knew what I was going to do.

"Actually, I have someone."

"Who!? I mean who would want you willingly?!"

"See dear parents. As of right now you are ruining your own image by acting like this in front of all these people." I spin my finger around the room to see them looking at my parents in disgust. Their eyes widened at what they did.

"WHO ARE YOU DATING!" My mother yelled. I flinched slightly but Mattheo put his hand on my back. He rubbed it slightly and pulled me into his arms. I looked at cissy and Tom and they were beaming. 

"Mattheo Riddle!? He is a Slytherin" I shrugged. 

"So?" Pansy was crying. Everyone else I knew was smiling crazily. Draco was comforting her. I couldn't in the moment or else I would have. 

"So!? This is- you know what?" He pulled out a gun in his pocket. Don't know why he kept it in there but right now really isn't the time to ask questions. When my father pulled it up Mattheo immediately put me behind him. 

Lucas did the same to Hermione and Draco did the same to Pansy. My grip on his hand tightened. I wasn't gonna let him move. "Father put the fucking gun down" 

"James, please" Tom said slowly moving towards Mattheo and I. He had cissy behind him. My mother was smirking evilly. I had a couple tears running down my face. He put the gun in my direction and Mattheo gripped me. Hard. 

"You fucking dare to touch her and I will kill you. With my bare hands." But he did something I wasn't even thinking about. He shot it in the air.

War was starting.
